Thanks for the colorization process! I wonder with the further strengthening of AI today, whether you'd have the same result with 2024 technology? Things change so rapidly in the AI world. Thank you for this!
I love this scene too! The skin appears gray because this scene was never colorized by CBS, I did it myself and don't have the same resources they do so the colorization looks less polished.
This is such a neat little compilation. I really wanted to like the movie more but all we got were the actors trying so hard to do impersonations. Any actor can do a good impersonation but they completely missed the emotional beats that made the comedy so charming. For example, the way Lucy is coyly scheming because she feels really bad for her friend. Kidman just went through the motions robotically and then praised herself for 'doing it perfectly'. It was nauseating to watch all those interviews with her and Kirsten Stewart who 'impersonated' Diana. A lot of BTR relied too much on the same cutaway shots of the audience laughing hysterically so you knew it when to laugh. It didn't need to do that. It didn't need all that unnecessary exposition at the start. Sorry, but I just did not like it at all 😔.
I am really impressed that you did this on your own, I would love to see what you could accomplish with all the modern tools at your disposal. I remember in the 80s when Ted Turner was starting to colorize films…a huge team and budget and they still missed so so much. I was unaware that this was just done by one person. I apologize for my criticism.
Oooooo I can’t tell u how much was wrong with that movie in the 1st place u can see that it was their 1st apt not the one with the window that was after little Ricky was born this episode was their 1st season March 10 1952 and if u look at the pictures on their office walls those haven’t even happen yet in their lives they should have done more research IDK!!!!!!!!!
HA! I've been wanting to talk to someone for so long about the movie. I did notice that stuff too, but I think it was overall a positive contribution because I have so many friends who watched the movie and now know about the series. It was nice and engaging to watch, and besides a lot of artistic liberties they took I actually thought it was pretty good (I even cried a bit at the end haha!).
@@Ross-117 That’s totally fair and I agree that it was great having the “I love lucy” gang in the spotlight again…as they should be. 🙂 I will rewatch it sometime.
@@gisellegazda3884 It's a brilliant film. I can't remember how many times I watched it on Prime. Aside from recreating the classic scenes from the series, the acting among Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, Nina Arianda and the great JK Simmons, the flawless writing and direction, this movie is tops.

It's so strange...I never thought of I Love Lucy as in black and white before...I just imagined the colors. But I'm glad you're doing this!
The best show of all time!
That was the cutest episode!

This is very well done. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ironically, in real life those two hated each other.
I know right, honestly I wasn’t that surprised though out of all of them I would say Fred’s character is probably the most actually like him.
This is facts
I never get surprised at such things anymore regarding sets because I see many work colleagues who can't stand each other.
Greatest actor ever, I would never know they hated each other
Only the last year or so because Desi was unfaithful.
Lucy wasn't lying when she said she invited a young chick 🐥 to dinner: Vivian Vance was a lot younger then her TV 📺 husband, Fred. And she was pretty.
😄
Was the uploaded video changed? I don’t see what this has to do with the movie. It’s just a clip from the actual show in color…
No, as I wasn't able to get a movie clip, and was afraid of copyright implications.
One of the great scenes! Why do parts of the skin appear gray next to the flesh color?
I love this scene too! The skin appears gray because this scene was never colorized by CBS, I did it myself and don't have the same resources they do so the colorization looks less polished.
@@Ross-117 What happened to the bit where Fred and Ethel elbow each other right out of their seats? Or, didn't they really do that in "real life"?
@@farrellmcnulty909Worked out great either way, though, dinnit? 😉
@@5Gburn Yes, it was a great scene, authentic or not.

I agree with those points, although it was better than I originally thought it would be!
It doesn't seem right watching I Love Lucy in color.
Haha I feel like the color police are going to break into my house
I dunno...I loved her blouse. Fancy!
Why is Ethel’s chest still in B&W? Lack of attention to detail is one of the reasons that people hate colourization.
You should request a refund…oh wait.
Since I colorized this myself with A.I. and don't have the resources CBS does, the colorization is less advanced.

@@TheUberjonny Haha no it’s alright, your certainly not the first to say that it looks less than perfect because it is.

Wrong apartment
I do prefer like original episode!!
The film was “meh” imho.
Eh I'd prob have to agree, but I loved being able to watch a movie based around the show and couple.
