Got to agree with the boys. A Wolfe Tones Glasgow Barrowlands gig is something else. Seen them all over Ireland and England too. But Glasgow is second to none. Celtic Symphony there is beyond wild🍀🇮🇪💚
That was class. RTÉ has no problem filling its daily output with Coronation Street and other imported junk, but it enforces, ignoring public sentiment, an effective ban on the Wolftones.
We were lucky enough to get the Wolde Tones to an Irish Club that I used to run in both 2003 and 2004. We had arranged for Brian to chat with a DJ on BBC Radio Oxford from Sligo, Henry Wimms. Now the band were on a kinda hero level for me having grown up listening and learning the history. I had to find a hotel with a resident bar! So we rang Brian and my hubby put me onto him, I'll admit I was so starstruck. I confirmed there was a resident bar. Oh so many stories from just this one visit, we had them back the next year, with another heap of stories!
Absolute legends. Seen them so many times down through the years. Lived in NY way back in the day and went to see them (was a bit homesick) always brilliant and still rocking it!!
Met these lads on Sunday just gone before seeing the in Leeds Irish Centre. Absolute gentlemen the three of them. Had a lovely conversation about their upcoming shows in Belfast 😂
Absolute LEGENDS 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪 fair play to the 2 johnnys great interview ther music should be played on evry Irish radio station evry day this is IRELAND and this is are music 👌👌🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Went to see them in the Olympia a few months back and the place went fuckin mental! All the walls that was put up against them they still climbed it without bother. Fair play to them
Its a disgrace that their hasn't been more on rte for this legendary Irish yes Irish band. Singing about Irish history. I seen them about twenty times starting about 1998 when they were a 4 piece and better may i add. Spoke to Tommy and noel a few times in hotels before the gigs aswell they were mostly together i believe noel drove Tommy maybe noel doesn't drink.
These fellas are absolute legends, I've seen them Live so many times on their last tour. Only to come back again, true Irish spirit.

But R.T.E has nothing to do with Cornation Street. They only show Fair City and Eastenders.
Best boy band ever to come out of Ireland 😂🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪✊️
Boy band does them a major disservice
Superb interview, absolute legends. Pity RTE continue to play utter rubbish on radio 😢
Their music will last out well after all the doubters have long gone! An amazing band and have listened to them ever since I was a kid in the 80s .
Only been waiting 6 weeks for this to be on RUclips..!! Thanks lads 🎉
class interview, The Wolfe Tones are the GOATs. Irish music won't be the same when they are gone.
Only slightly second to the Dubliners in my opinion but definitely the two best groups.
Great job, nice and chilled out chat with Brian and Tommy, as grounded as ever, and still enjoying it. Well done lads !
