My dad is a cashel man and everyone always says he's the bop off patt short. My mother told me a story about how they went to a patt short stand up years ago and the show just turned into patt and my dad taking the piss out of each other the whole night 🤣
When someone cracks a joke and the 3 lads burst into laughter it reminds me of the d’unbelievsbles sketch with the two builders shouting down from the scaffolding 😂
That laughing is infectious! 👌🏻 Could see that all in studio were having the absolute craic ☺️🙌🏻 It’s lovely to see Pat talk about his actual professional history & somewhat of a technical breakdown of how some of the legends came to life 👌🏻❤️🇮🇪 Great job lads.
Great to see the sucess of these podcasts for the masses from outside the pale for the 'culchy' from the 'culchy' where that sligh Prejudice does not stifle real craic with its more then hint of imperial discrimination ..... "gid up d'yard"
Ashamed to say I'm only gettin to know these lads now, if awards aren't thrown at them soon there's something wrong with the world, pure gold, and long may it continue 💪
Disappointed to hear his response to the question about whether he was like the character he played in Garage. Disrespectful to say the least as if the last thing ud want is to be compared with someone with mental health issues. Ironic as well given that the whole point of the film was the harsh treatment of people with mental health issues.
Agreed. I was excited to watch this but that was really, really disappointing to hear. The meaning of the film seems to have been completely lost to the actor who played him.
Disappointing for sure. checked out the interview as was hoping he would be a decent skin. Most of pats acts are spent mocking others that he looks down on. people with all sorts of issues. and then he distances himself from all the people that he mocks, and then refers to his art and craft etc. I've always thought he is extremely two faced with much of his material further marginalising people who are already struggling. a lot of it reflects real life bullying. find it very hard to listen to him referring to people as misfortunes and poor oul divils and a litter of derogatory terms. Guys like pat do so much damage to vulnerable people. Literally making a show of them and making them out to be pure ejits. and then back to blowing about himself
When the faces of the chicken roll meet the face of the jumbo breakfast roll!
They are the same but from different universe's...its far from home into the tipp-verse
Definitely one of the Top 3 Guests the lads have had on, an absolute Legend of a man, sown into the fabric of Irish culture HERO 🇮🇪👏

@@bass22ails And , ironically , played so well by him. It was an outstanding performance but clearly only a performance.
Disappointing for sure.
