This for sure, is a case of the former … Dave’s vocals were exactly what was needed for the lyrics of this song. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@-KingOfKhaos I would agree so long as we understand that we are talking about the kind of covers that are break out songs on their own. Go into any concert and there is a good chance the singer is going to do a cover of one or two of her favourite songs. That is fine and all but rarely better then the original. But if you go through the effort of producing a cover (by which I mean you take it to the studio with a producer and the whole works) it is generally because you see a significant way to improve on it in some manner and odds are good it will be better then the original.
The original version of this song comes across as a warning to the future...Disturbed's version is a realisation that it has all come true and we didn't heed the warning. Simply breath taking
I have heard this interpretation of this on the music video, and I completely agree with it. David sang this in front of Paul Simon at a show. At the end, Paul said to him, "It's not my song anymore. It's yours." David was so touched, he started crying. Best. Cover. Ever.
@@spokenolive6769I was going to mention this as well. Hurt and Sound of Silence are, imo two of history's greatest pieces of music, based on lyrics and the message alone. So deep and beautifully HUMAN. I'm obsessed with music and love so many songs, but those two songs are very high on the list when it comes to music and lyrics that just fully ensconce me within the human experience, and I love the originals and covers.
I read someone said that Simon and Garfunkel’s version was the warning. While David’s version was the side of anger the warning wasn’t listened to. Really puts a crazier depth to the meaning of the song.
@@kheslerholmes4062I also saw somewhere that Pentatonix's version is like a somber reminder of what happens when someone doesn't heed the first warnings.
Absolutely the best cover I have ever heard. I am 85 years old, and this song brings me back to when I was in my twenties, it made me want to make me cry. The original was much weaker.
I think maybe something some people don't get is that not all singing is meant to be "pretty" and "likable", and that not all beauty is "nice" and "correct". Or even further, that not all anger is bad or wrong either. This cover is really an excellent showcase of one way of "what angry growling is for", because it shows us an emotional story that wouldn't be complete without anger: It begins in loss and grief at the dearth of communication and connection, which is shown in the abandoned and destroyed instruments and desolate landscapes, and perfectly mirrored in the tender, grieving clean vocals. Humankind is shown as disconnected and lost. The singer(and the band) then attempts to get people to listen to eachother, and to hear the message. But when the message falls to deaf ears, instead of falling back to despair, quietness and acquiescence, they dig into their fury. They won't accept and give up humanity to the worship of money and consumption (the neon god), but *demands* to be heard, *demands* to break through. In essence, the message to me is that culture, music and humanity have to shake themselves free, even by anger, to find themselves, find eachother, to live for eachother and not for neon lights. And David takes us through from those emotions of sorrow and loss, through the build up of hope and confidence, up to a crescendo of anger - and finally back to the calm of a new possibility as the musicians arrive with their songs. And in this context the distorted singing is an absolutely incredible way to convey that emotion. I'd say this is an excellent "gateway" for people who "don't get why people would listen to such ugly things". This is why.
I love when metal singers do more tradition, lyric pieces. I feel like the rasp they develop in their voices from their own genre brings a really new depth and flavor to other genres. This is a perfect example.
She genuinely looks like she’s a freak. Her reaction totally creeped me out. This is a beautiful and amazing song. But her facial expressions during the song were so exaggerated that it just comes off as faking it.
I took many years of vocal lessons, she is really listening to the song. I still get frisson every time I hear this version. As someone who can appreciate musical talent, she is likely not faking and actually feeling this song.
Her expressions are priceless, they are in every video visible, in some, like here, more than the other videos. She is so cartoon-ish because of it, like some cartoon character when expressing emotions, because human naturally can't express emotions that well, so in anime and cartoons characters express their emotions very visibly and making it very obvious. Usually you wont see people like her doing such facial emotional expressions. She is a rare being. :D
Something that always bugged me about S&G's version that always bugged me was that it sounds oddly happy? It's something you could bob your head to or something you'd fall asleep to. Disturbed's version feels more like a gut punch. Originally a warning, and now anger that it was ignored.
@@elijiah4631 I do like songs that follow that theme usually, upbeat but the lyrics are darker than you would realise, however for such a monumental song I agree that it was the wrong direction.
@@elijiah4631 The times were different. The early 60s was a time of folk music, just coming out of an era of classic pop. I don't think this version would have been successful then, but man is it powerful now!
the fact that he waits for that emotion to build for 3 minutes before growling for the first time is what sells it, in my opinion, and he sells it very well indeed.
there is just something about watching people who truly love what they do and getting excited about that said thing. The joy she has from music and good vocals and song in general is very beautiful.
I love when people respect a good song even if the song is not even in their genre, kind of like how jonny cash covered NIN hurt because of how well written it was.
This woman is so fascinating. Just watching her facial expressions it does something to you. She almost helps you take in another element or depth of what you're listening to.
The fact she's a trained professional and coach, coupled with her extremely transparent facial expressions gives you so much more information on what she's feeling and what she finds interesting etc etc
I am 63 years old now. Heard the original when I was a kid. S&G did it to perfection then. Decades go by and all that's changed are the faces and the names, while the silence has only deepened. And this mans voice reflects that deeper frustration perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing... Its perfection exactly as he's done it.
I love the band and the song so I've seen A LOT of vocal coaches review this song and the comments are so spot on. Someone made the comment that the original version was a warning and this version was a call to arms as the warning was ignored. That captured the essence of both songs to me.
My dad in a similar age bracket, rolled his eyes when my brother told him about this song by 'Disturbed' (and almost didntwant to hear it. now its his favorite song.
Something funny, my father showed me this song as the best cover he has ever heard and I finally got to say to him "you remember the time you stormed upstairs, pulled the CD out of my stereo and snapped it into shards (albeit the outro to Down With the Sickness) claiming it was evil?....this is the same band".
As was once read, I now reciprocate: "Garfunkel's version represents a warning, while Disturbed's version represents rage since the warning was ignored."
Watching her expressions, it looks like she's enjoying a personal concert in her head. It's like she was born deaf, had an operation and now she's listening to sound for the very first time and we're witnessing her falling in love with music.
The mix of genuine discovery for something new and authentic pleasure on her expressions while listening to the cover makes you realize how powerful a good performance can be, even to a professional.
As I've once read: "S&G's song represents a warning, and the Disturbed's version represents the rage of the warning being ignored" and I couldn't put that in better words
I was just looking for where I had read that comment before too but there has been so many new comments on that video that it would take me forever to find it. I think that was a perfect quote for a perfect song. Absolutely perfect.
David is the musical definition of never judge a book by its cover. He can put together a beautiful melodic performance or do 5 minutes of growling and animalistic rage.
I saw disturbed in 2009 and 2019, and it was like seeing two different bands. 2009 it was straight up metal, 2019, the only true metal sound was from 3 or 4 songs out of a 2 hour set
I've watched about half a dozen reactions to this song now, and no one... NO. ONE.... is able to pause it through that ending crescendo. It's far too powerful and awe-inspiring.
Simon and Garfunkel have given us some of the best written music humanity will ever see... But so frequently they have not been the correct artist to capture the best, most definitive, most expressive, version of their own song.
"Paul Simon told David that it was HIS song now - what a fabulous compliment!!!!!" No he didn't say that; its just another internet myth. However, Paul Simon did comment positively about Disturbed's version, and placed a link to it on his website.

Same here. I consider this one of my “sanity songs”, in that however bad my mentality is, this song makes me feel like a human again; and therefore grounds me.
That is my absolute favorite version of Sound of Silence, I love how controlled he was and how the growl in his voice came in at the perfect time, this version really is amazing.
An utterly unique masterpiece of transformative insight. It transforms Paul Simon's wistful and melancholy performance into raging prophesy of apocalypse.
David's range is absolutely insane. That line of "and the people bowed and prayed" gives me chills everytime because of how seemlessly that grit is carried in
(not a professional so excuse my poor wording) Whenever he transitions between sustained low, smooth tones and sustained higher, louder, more distorted tones, I definitely get chills, in both this song and Down with the Sickness. I especially like his violent change of tone during the line "Suddenly it changes, violently it changes"...not sure what that's called but like...discriptive lyrics? They describe a change in the music or in this case, the tone.
She was cute to begin with, then after watching her reactions and facial expressions, I thought they made her seem ever more adorable. I'm definitely in love with her.
In 2016, my youngest brother had "discovered" this version and I remember him raving about it. Soon after he unexpectedly died in his sleep of heart arrhythmia. We played it at his funeral. I think this is the first time that I have listened to this song in almost 7 years. 😥
no jesus crist stop. This comment is on every single reaction and theres always one or two people that come by to tell you you were wrong. Simon outright denounced this theory. People claim he said this and he NEVER did. its just an internet myth.
It's basically a master class in how to do a cover. Faithful to the feel of the original, but, with it's own uniqueness. It's theirs enough so you can't mistake it for the original.
It's also respectful to the original and at the same time an evolution of it. So much so that the original writer actually wrote to the cover artist to praise the cover.
100% agree, a perfect example what makes a good cover: Respect the original and it's message. Add your own style, but not too much. What is "not too much" strongly depends on the song.
True, you have some covers or "interpretations" that bring a whole new meaning to lyrics, a new depth and sometimes they are even more rich than the original without taking away the value. It's what I think about sweet dreams by marylin manson or imagine by a perfect circle... It takes really a lot of genius to make those arrangements and end with a tribute.
Most people don't realize the fact how incredibly good metal singers really are !!! this is just one example and what great cover of one of the most beloved songs in music history !!

First time I'd seen you do it live. Nice. Thanks." Draiman responded, "Mr. Simon, I am honored beyond words. That's cool. I didn't know that. I like when singers do covers of really older songs & the original singers/writer gives the cover singer credit by signing off on it. Like when NIN gave "Hurt" to Johnny Cash. I also love when these covers come out & all these younger people think it's something new. Lol

But this rendition of The Sounds of Silence, and your facial reactions to it, had me almost in tears.......WTF. The absolute joy that you get from these songs is truly astounding. Not very many people see the real healing properties of music of all kinds. Keep doing what you do!
I was just about to say this! The way her eyes go wide at 1:46 and her slight smile at 1:53 is so telling. Those are obviously the expressions of someone whose expectations were completely blown away with this cover. Seeing her emotions at those two examples invoked the same emotions in me, even after listening to this for the millionth time.
I could watch this over and over just to see her face. So pretty and sweet as her face lights up and changes throughout the song. She appears to be a very innocent and sweet soul.
Agreed! I was absolutely giggling with happy delight at how happy she looked, because seeing someone obviously enjoy and appreciate something so much just gives me happy goosebumps of my own(entirely separate from the goosebumps from the song). Just watching her vibe with it was so wholesome.

What he put in to that was his whole soul. You can feel it all the way down to your bone marrow. Paul Simon said to david when hearing the cover- "My song was a warning. Your song is the rage because the warning was ignored. It is your song now. Not mine"
I looked into this, but honestly I've not been able to find a direct quote from him saying this. And that doesn't mean that he didn't, just that I can't find any evidence of it.

Raised as a Cantor, Davie naturally looks at a song as all consonants 😉 Joking aside, every single vocal approach, from the rounded beauty of bel canto to the brutality of Metal screaming, has a function in the expressive pallet of singing. This is why modern singers like Draiman and Floor Jansen are so interesting: because they understand that the brutal sounds developed in Metal singing can be tools to juxtapose rage (or scorn) with beauty and sensitivity. And they have the technique to do it safely, and the musicality to use it where belongs in a song.

I love this song the way Disturbed sings it. this is a video of Draiman worming up during sound checks with the song 'Unchained Melody'. loudwire.com/watch-disturbed-david-draiman-warm-up-unchained-melody-soundcheck/ About David, some have told you that he is a classically trained vocalist and does exercises to safely make his voice raspy. Look at his mouth and jaw positioning when he is holding those raspy words. And also how he holds on the 'N' in silence. I also read that he has or had bad acid reflux disease and needed surgery to repair the valve between the esophagus and stomach. One report also said that he has a 6 octave range, which may be stretching it a bit BUT i'm not the professional. If you see my 'profile pic' you can see who I was for 21 year ('90--'11), well who I still am but no longer active. In the middle of that time I spent 10 days working at the site (Ground Zero) in New York City. When I hear this song, I see those sights, the pictures, the videos, the pile in front of me. I didn't search for people, but I performed support roles. Mostly I cleaned FDNY and NYPD guys off as they got off the pile to go into the rehab or to leave. And so many of those lyrics voice what those images were.
As a loyal and diehard Disturbed fan for over two decades, seeing her slowly growing more and more excited as David was transitioning his voice into his traditional "Oooo-wah-a-a-a!!" towards the end of the song was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
It doesn't matter how many times I hear this version of the song, I'm always moved to tears. I can feel the pressure and weight of it in my chest, it's so beautiful
The first part was somewhat dark and heavy and sad at the same time. Telling the world of what has transpired in past events and what bad happened. The second part he elevated his voice. no rasp in his voice. Just clean and highlighting what he had seen in their action of the first part. The third part was rasp and showed anger of what people had done that caused all the sadness in the first part. Even than no one dared break voice and tell what caused sadness, and that is the sound of silence. at least how i interpreted that song.
I love how she starts out with trepidation: "I am a little bit anxious by what Disturbed is going to do with it. Followed by 9-minutes-worth of her consensually letting Disturbed make slow and deep love to her ears, and her expressions showing it.
Some would dare to say very orgasmic. At lest I know it was for me the first time I heard the live version Very enjoyable to see her react to this voice
When his voice breaks into distortion gives me instant goosebumps. So much emotion released that had been slowly building up through the minutes before. Original song is good, this cover is fantastic.
Agreed. Goosebumps on top of goosebumps. Not to mention that last “sound” and how he holds it out there to include that echo….. damn. David forced us to finally listen to these lyrics.
So much thought and passion in his voice. He sings the high notes clean just as well as he sings the same high notes with such conviction, feeling, and emotion.
One of my favorite covers of all time. How they stay so true to the original and still completely make it their own. The haunting power is amazing! Best cover of any song ever!
The Simon and Garfunkel version sounds like they are telling a story about events in the world of the song. The Disturbed version sounds like he is living in that world as those events are happening.
Personal opinion. This to me one of the best songs ever. Disturbed nailed this one! I loved the original Simon and Garfunkel version but the Disturbed version is so powerful and a dark side. It leaves me in tears and mankind's lack of really listening, and hearing each other. After listening, several times to it, I just sat and thought for awhile about what has happened to mankind as a whole. Very very powerful rendition of an old song. It made me think of how things used to be. Home and Family
To me it sounds like they were referencing the destruction of free speech neon god - technology - social media - moderation major media outlet bias, or corruption
Still, this cover still brings me to tears. It is what this beautiful song deserved all these years. Thank You Disturbed , gorgeous, moving, powerful. This is the last song I will hear today, but such a kiss of good fortune indeed. Thank You.
One thing that people dont always know is that David is a professionally trained Cantor, he chooses the more growly, distorted singing in his own music, yes, but he is well capable of some of the most beautiful singing you have ever heard
The way Elizabeth gets this sparkle in her eyes and her smile brightens from ear to ear when she listens to music. And then explains the vocal technique. That is something so rare and special. If you ever have a friend encourage that sparkle never condemn it because those kinda people can shine their childlike joy from the heart and that is something truly precious!
Honestly that's one of my favourite things about watching TCV videos - forget watching the music video or w/e that she's listening to, I just watch the range of expressions crossing her face.

Absolutely the best cover I have ever heard. I am 85 years old, and this song brings me back to when I was in my twenties, it made me want to make me cry. The original was much weaker.
Holy cow…! Nicely put…, spot on.
God: David do you want a voice of an angel or demon.
David: Yes.

Rick Welch you make this exact same comment on every review of this song. Every time. 🤦♀️
Haha I love this!
People never realize how beautiful the voices of rock singers are.
I learned much of the depth of the song from thin rendition too.
They have beautifull voice actually if they do a normal songs.
*metal singers
But yes
She genuinely looks like she's in love with the music. Wow. She really cares a lot about the music.
And that makes it so much better...That's a wonderful thing to see
She genuinely looks like she’s a freak.
It (music) is a religious experience for her. And I. Probably many of us
Her expressions are priceless, they are in every video visible, in some, like here, more than the other videos. :D
My 86 year old mother loved this song! She said it was more powerful than the original. We played it at her funeral.
That’s so cool. I love it!
It's on my funeral playlist to. For me it's such a powerful version it gets right into your bones and always me feel like I've been chopping onions!
That's beautiful
Having heard so many versions of this song, I think Disturbed actually found the essence of the song.
I totally agree
Something that always bugged me about S&G's version that always bugged me was that it sounds oddly happy? It's something you could bob your head to or something you'd fall asleep to. Disturbed's version feels more like a gut punch. Originally a warning, and now anger that it was ignored.
Paul Simon said that this was how he always envisioned could be!
This is it. It's the time he's building it and we are waiting for the climax that makes this version perfect
ABSOLUTELY ❤️ best version in my opinion, but I'm also a metal head
So sold it.
id say in the start its a sad hopefulness that turns into anger realizing that nothing will change.
there is just something about watching people who truly love what they do and getting excited about that said thing. The joy she has from music and good vocals and song in general is very beautiful.

So true.
I love the band and the song so I've seen A LOT of vocal coaches review this song and the comments are so spot on. Someone made the comment that the original version was a warning and this version was a call to arms as the warning was ignored. That captured the essence of both songs to me.
I am 68, and I agree with you completely. They have captured the spirit of the song.
I am 132 years old and i agree as well.
My dad in a similar age bracket, rolled his eyes when my brother told him about this song by 'Disturbed' (and almost didntwant to hear it. now its his favorite song.
Her facial expressions while listening to the song are just SOOO FRIGGIN CUTE!!!!

That little bit of almost panic at the end.

Something funny, my father showed me this song as the best cover he has ever heard and I finally got to say to him "you remember the time you stormed upstairs, pulled the CD out of my stereo and snapped it into shards (albeit the outro to Down With the Sickness) claiming it was evil?....this is the same band".
Mine is opposite. My father loves Disturbed man, when i made him listen to it in dinner, he was absolutely stunned.
XD really?
This is SOOOOO much better than Simon and Garfunkel. And I dig their music. But it's not even close.
nah didnt happen bc no proof
What was his reaction??
As was once read, I now reciprocate: "Garfunkel's version represents a warning, while Disturbed's version represents rage since the warning was ignored."
The warning being ignored is represented by the instruments that were trashed or buried, and later brought back to the people on a boat.
Great comment, I know I'm late 😮
the energy of despairation too
Yes, great interpretation !

This song is so haunting with him singing. He has so much depth to his voice.
Watching her expressions, it looks like she's enjoying a personal concert in her head. It's like she was born deaf, had an operation and now she's listening to sound for the very first time and we're witnessing her falling in love with music.
That's what I felt as well. Being a musician there's nothing better than watching someone genuinely enjoying music like that.
This is exactly why she's my favorite reactor to music. Along with her knowledge of the subject matter.
Thought the same thing. Like, wow, you're REALLY enjoying that. Should I hit pause and give you a moment?
The mix of genuine discovery for something new and authentic pleasure on her expressions while listening to the cover makes you realize how powerful a good performance can be, even to a professional.

David is the musical definition of never judge a book by its cover. He can put together a beautiful melodic performance or do 5 minutes of growling and animalistic rage.
Thing is you NEED the control he exhibits here in order to not hurt yourself with the more brutal sounds.
He's a great artist💯
I've been listening to Disturbed since the early 2000's - and I had no idea he could do something like this. It blew me away.
@Big Mike No No No... her entire reaction to Pantara's Cemetery Gates is the pure definition of Never Judge A Book By Its Cover

I've watched about half a dozen reactions to this song now, and no one... NO. ONE.... is able to pause it through that ending crescendo. It's far too powerful and awe-inspiring.
Paul Simon told David that it was HIS song now - what a fabulous compliment!!!!!
Simon and Garfunkel have given us some of the best written music humanity will ever see... But so frequently they have not been the correct artist to capture the best, most definitive, most expressive, version of their own song.

Disturbed have created (one of) the best covers I have ever heard
It's basically a master class in how to do a cover. Faithful to the feel of the original, but, with it's own uniqueness. It's theirs enough so you can't mistake it for the original.
The original: OK this is warning that this is starting to happen and will get worse
Disturbed: IT HAPPENED YOU DIDN'T LISTEN. 😂
Yes, this.

Raised as a Cantor, Davie naturally looks at a song as all consonants 😉
Joking aside, every single vocal approach, from the rounded beauty of bel canto to the brutality of Metal screaming, has a function in the expressive pallet of singing.

Simon himself sent an email to David Draiman, giving his praise to his cover after seeing it on Conan.
I believe he specifically said: this is your song now.
What a neat detail. Thanks Brandon!
@@ryanedwardson6541 David brought new depth and meaning. Corporate music industry is evil.
@@TheCharismaticVoice Hello. I love this song the way Disturbed sings it.
this is a video of Draiman worming up during sound checks with the song 'Unchained Melody'.
loudwire.com/watch-disturbed-david-draiman-warm-up-unchained-melody-soundcheck/
About David, some have told you that he is a classically trained vocalist and does exercises to safely make his voice raspy.
@@firebeecher Thanks for the link! That was great, I always love hearing a vocalist sing a capella! I'm going to send that to my son who is a big fan.
I'm going to go out and say that is the best version of a cover of any song, by any artist, of all time to date...
I could fall in love with the way she fell in love with this song
I have very little knowledge, understanding, or passion for music. But watching the pure joy of her listening to good music fills me with joy.
@@TheAlmightyPillock Sums it up to the point!
As a loyal and diehard Disturbed fan for over two decades, seeing her slowly growing more and more excited as David was transitioning his voice into his traditional "Oooo-wah-a-a-a!!" towards the end of the song was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
I think she got goosebumps.🥰
It doesn't matter how many times I hear this version of the song, I'm always moved to tears. I can feel the pressure and weight of it in my chest, it's so beautiful
Wørd
Same.
Yup. I get a feeling in my chest that is deep
This or the original. The lyrics are heavy enough on their own. 🤘
@wyomarine the lyrics "get" me more than the performance, TBH.
I love how she starts out with trepidation:
"I am a little bit anxious by what Disturbed is going to do with it.
Followed by 9-minutes-worth of her consensually letting Disturbed make slow and deep love to her ears, and her expressions showing it.
Judging by her reactions, listening to the song is somehow to the point of sensual to her.
@@greenwolf401 Watching her expressions of enjoyment is really what I'm here for. It's so nice to see someone really enjoy something like that
Some would dare to say very orgasmic. At lest I know it was for me the first time I heard the live version
Very enjoyable to see her react to this voice
1:19 The second she knows something AMAZING is about to happen.
@@majorshrimp5394 haha so much! And the look in his eyes!
I can appreciate with what he is trying to do but I find this version depressing and the singer looks like he's just seen a ghost, sorry💤😔
@@malclee6246 Have you ever listened to the lyrics? Who would you have sing it? Ricky Martin? 😅
So much thought and passion in his voice. He sings the high notes clean just as well as he sings the same high notes with such conviction, feeling, and emotion.
@@Checo82886 AYE; This is the first time I TRULY HEARD, no FELT the lyrics...puck me to tears.
I love the commentary but I just have to point out that her facial expressions are adorable. She is precious!
She should have shed at least 1 tear though! That would have been awesome.
Reminds me of Emilia Clarke in Me Before You
No doubt she loves his voice, but really who doesn't.
Aroused
Agreed
One of my favorite covers of all time. How they stay so true to the original and still completely make it their own. The haunting power is amazing! Best cover of any song ever!
No matter how many times I listen to this song, it gives me chills and makes me well up. The emotion behind his voice is TANGIBLE
I know right? It is so truly powerful and absolutely causes involuntary tears to build up in my eyes every single time I hear it.
I agree! Holy smokes! My heart sinks like a brick my tears come rolling and I can’t stop them at all😭
Absolutely. I had the privilege of seeing them do this live. Holy shit it’s powerful
The Simon and Garfunkel version sounds like they are telling a story about events in the world of the song.
The Disturbed version sounds like he is living in that world as those events are happening.
Aren't we? Now?
Love this 💖
Personal opinion.
I agree.
I always think of S&G version as the "before" version and Disturbed as the "after" version. After what? 2020 of course.
S&gs version was the warning, disturbeds version the angry, trying to get past our stubborn ears version and kicking us in the nuts while doing it.
For the first time people can connect to the lyrics and hear the message... or lets hope they hear the message.
To me it sounds like they were referencing the destruction of free speech
neon god - technology -
social media - moderation
major media outlet bias, or corruption
Still, this cover still brings me to tears. It is what this beautiful song deserved all these years. Thank You Disturbed , gorgeous, moving, powerful. This is the last song I will hear today, but such a kiss of good fortune indeed. Thank You.
I dont think anyone will do a better cover of this song than disturbed did. The transition from sadness to rage is so fitting for the song
If you ever have a friend encourage that sparkle never condemn it because those kinda people can shine their childlike joy from the heart and that is something truly precious!
i saw that as well
Honestly that's one of my favourite things about watching TCV videos - forget watching the music video or w/e that she's listening to, I just watch the range of expressions crossing her face.
I love this!
rl
🤘👹🤘
the past few vocal coaches i have watched have done the "sparkle" moment when he lets his voice out to its fullest love seeing that reaction
She legitimately looks like a Disney princess come to life, especially doing those soft head tilts while listening
This singer sounds like an opera singer to me with the power and emotion in his voice. The first time I heard this version by Disturbed, it was on a late night show. I was frozen in front of the tv for the whole performance.
