Bro y'all should really put the producer's beat tag in the part where the producer is introduced. It would be cool af + at that point, a lotta people would finally recognize the guest from the tag if not recognized yet.
bruh by 3:55 this ting just switched up to the realest interview. is it me or is every music producer on the deepest wavelength... like almost every interview i've watched from you guys go next level! shout out to the community, much respect!
i like all the inputs you guys give, i feel like a lot of producers forget that this is all about memories in our lives, we make beats because of emotion and i feel like money and success are just extra gains we may or may not even get, everybody needa side hustle fr if you wanna come up not just gonna come up out of nowhere, i feel like not alot of people really loving it anymore, everybody just wanna blow up loool & i feel them but grinding really takes time
to answer the question on philosophical vs real world business strategy, i personally like to see both. this was one of my favorite interviews on the channel and i find the ones i like most consist mostly of stories and business strategy but also where the guest understands the importance of being humble and positive, or seem to be somewhat spiritual despite their look or background. great episode
I think it’s important to note tho that a lot of producers in our generation aren’t just “popping up”, more so than they come up with a unit or a team. When the rappers pop, the producers come with them when they’re skill is shown on tracks It’s not just lone wolves out here. Build a team and grow together. Somebody writing, somebody produce, somebody engineer. You all come up together and grow together as well.
Great Episode. In respect to the question of life gems vs producer gems, they're both the same. Just go wherever the conversation takes us. I feel like that's the outcome regardless so just dropping confirmation love. ❤💛💚
I like the philosophical stuff a lot and also the technical stuff (mixing gems and other tips/tricks) and gems on how to climb the producer ladder to making it a full time job. Appreciate all the podcasts too bros. They inspire and entertain me💯
Producers get paid for performance royalties. Its called BMI Live. You have to register the performances on BMI everytimes the artist perform and the venue has to be verified with BMI as well.
I’m in the position of knowing I’m worth a lot more but I gotta deal with my current situations rn! Album drops January 20th tho!! Fully written produced, engineered by myself 🙏🏽
All the passion/business talk make me realize that if u get passionate about business as well as making art that that’s the best way to make money doing what you love. I produced for years and had so many placements but eventually fell off because it felt like a job and my ego was too crazy for me to just keep going hard despite whatever I was experiencing. I would get broke and felt the pressure of needing to make a new beat to make money. It fucked with my art ina major way but now I’m at a point where I got passionate about my brand and business and I can make a beat freely knowing I need to make money and not have my feelings get in the way and still make fire.
keep grinding guys !! Escape toxic relations, relativize and don't let your friends or family let you think that you should always party's and stop hustle
I like how you guys go off topic and back on it. I feel like for me at least, that I feel close to the person, producer and I like you guy's too. I like Good Perry he reminds me of my cousin Lester and I love his work he seems like a cool ass person to hangout with and make beats.
Ey, like just wanted to let you you know, know that I like you know died from like alcohol poisining shit and like now I'm speaking to y'all from you know like the afterlife.
perrys whole approach was the complete opposite of alot of producers today. did it for the love and probably never thought about making a dime once. Never thought about the money while even on tour! lol
Or just living life like he said. Not worried about getting placements or any of that. All that came to him in due time because he never did anything else with his life but be happy. And when you’re happy and keep your life simple, your dreams come much quicker
My mans GTFOH was genuine as hell 😂😂😂 my guy did this face 🤨🤔 dope interview y'all. Yo is the merch restocked last I checked yall were out of hoodies ?

These podcasts are getting better and better. Very openly talking about issues and problems we all think but don't know how to express those.
Best podcast I’ve ever seen on this channel. And it’s better him saying “like” so many times other than just sitting in silence lol
i like all the inputs you guys give, i feel like a lot of producers forget that this is all about memories in our lives, we make beats because of emotion and i feel like money and success are just extra gains we may or may not even get, everybody needa side hustle fr if you wanna come up not just gonna come up out of nowhere, i feel like not alot of people really loving it anymore, everybody just wanna blow up loool & i feel them but grinding really takes time
