@@JH-ys3th you don't need the best pc though, if you're actually good you can easily win with a 500 bucks pc, which is cheap for a gaming pc. 60 fps 1080p is enough, so don't worry about your monitor.

@Yesindeed126 even warzone is getting unplayable at this point. every match all I see is wannabe streamers hopping around slide-cancelling and bhopping, all that excessive stuff. i feel like gaming as a whole is getting to a point where casual gaming is impossible in multiplayer games, everyone's always trying as hard as they can even if there's little to no reward. example: fall guys

I agree. I mean some games definitely thrive and get to their peak after everyone has figured everything out and optimized certain strategies but there’s nothing like that feeling of discovery you get when you play something new
Absolutely, this is why I hope games like CoD or Battlefield fade out and get replaced by something new or have proper innovation to make it feel fresh again, could take a while though which makes me sad

slow paced, and nobody really knew what they were doing since the whole concept of the game was so different to anything else. sucks cuz there’s just too much going on now, doesn’t even feel like the same game.
Fortnite now has just every season in the game, and it feels like they’ve hired lazy developers.

I was there to witness fortnite being destroyed day by day as the seasons advanced, and seeing this makes me go sad
Edit: fortnite wasn't really "destroyed", it was changed. the game is way better than before but it will never feel the same again

proud to say I played this game since season 1. Remember when I knew nothing about the game so I built a base and I Tried to figure out how to decorate it. I was so confused when the storm came I thought it was a glitch. So many amazing memories season 1-4. Its still a good game but nowhere near the magic it had back then.
me and my friend would land dusty depot every game and build a base, we never won lol 😂

I remember my uncle showed me this game on the playstation 4 back in september of 2017, I was 11 I remember telling my dad about the game and he seems excited about it aswell, so I go home download the game and start playing, my little sister and my dad watched me play my first game. I got 13th place with 2 kills. 4 years later I still love this game, it will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks Epic for all the memories.

Back when you only had bandages and were always running around with only 75hp because shields and medkits were so so rare, no minishields either, no turbobuilding. it all lead to everyone trying to stealth around and actually building forts to shoot at each other from in the end circles. Two teams firing RPGs from their forts on hills 300 meters away and trying to snipe the downs. So slow paced and fun tension haha. It would be cool if they put in a classic mode where theres limited heals, no turbobuilding, and bring back GLs and traps to try to capture the fun of the early days. There's room in the game for both styles of play. I love current fortnite and the old fortnite. I have friends though that just will never get into the competitive side of the building aspect of the game. A more casual classic mode would be appealing to them and a good way to bring new players (and old) back to the game.
They actually did that a couple months back; it's called "classic mode"

I genuinely enjoyed this game when it came out I had so much fun dropping in with my friends and playing till 3 in the morning but I honestly feel like they took everything that was good and they threw it away to appeal to "younger audience" then I tried playing again a few months ago and it was like everyone in the lobbies were crack fiends looking for their next supply

I remember the days getting back from school wanting to play fortnite and loving the music and good graphic feel. It’ll never be the same…
I don’t think there will EVER be a game like this again that gave us so much joy, happiness, nostalgia and belonging as Fortnite. No matter where you were, there was always someone you could talk to about the new weapons or cool new battle pass. I’ll continue missing that time for my entire life. I can only pray for a time as good as that again.

I still remember my first win. Me and my friend had been playing for about 2 hours(early season 3) and we we’re definitely garbage but we were having fun and we get to the end it’s a 2v2 and we outmatched by a lot but they had wanted to clip us and somehow impulses themselves both off into the water. I was so happy and didn’t even have any kills. That was in 7th grade and now I’m half way through my junior year

I fr miss these days😭 the exitement for an new season. Or just the exitement to play in general. And the fun i had playing fortnite i always feel those feelings when i watch old video's of fortnite. I remember the game being in the same state as the state we see in this video. I guess it was like season 1 or even 0 i don't remember but god damn i miss this... The biggest thing that makes the nostalgia in old fortnite video's are for me the Sounds: Gunshot sounds, Farming sounds, Footsteps, Like everything was so different... I feel like they should fr put all of those sounds back in the game.

Oh it was the worst. When they finally updated it to let you build and break those structures with the build it was a serious relief. You couldn’t build in trees either. Major pain in the butt
There were so many big map changes in chapter 1. Literally entire biome changes. Now in chapter 2, we get little insignificant changes. Little pois, or unimportant things added. It could have been a great chapter, but opening a bunker here, or adding a few spires doesn’t have the same effect as adding a new biome with 2 towns or changing 1/4 of the map at once. I really hope chapter 3 brings some huge new pois and changes to the mechanics. It would be great. I think Epic is starting to understand that they can make most players happy and still have a great storyline as well.
