After watching him bomb out on the Opening Chests challenge, i jumped on and got 39 straight away. Would've been 40, but i missed one that i was looking for, as there was a chest open below it which made me think i had opened it by breaking the floor. Dropped Junk Junction -> Motel -> Lazy Links -> Wailing Woods -> Lonely Lodge -> Retail.

5:11 Mcreamy already had a legendary bush before he found the legendary gernade launcher, but he didn't count that, he counted the gernade launcher. so by that logic Sypher didnt get that point

Mcreamy got a bush in 20 seconds. But the record was for the fastest legendary weapon. So 5-5.
And if you count the stream sniper help rounds its either 4-6 or 3-7 depending in where you draw the line.

It was his live stream he was looking at 2:44
1. McCreamy didn't count the bushes. So, when Sypher got the bush, it shouldn't have counted.
2. The cannon was a bunch of stream snipers. Again, that shouldn't have counted since McCreamy did it more authentic in game.
3. The max height had been lowered. So again, that's an unfair advantage.

7:02 I’m calling McCreamy’s win there mainly because he utilized stream snipers to farm kills while McCreamy found real players. So any stream sniper kill does not count. Also, Sypher used a gun to damage them while Creamy did not. And it strictly said in Creamy’s vid, “Only using a Canon”. So all of Sypher’s kills should not count

Okay to be fair I’m pretty certain I’ve opened more than 26 chests in a single game this season.
Landing at West World and taking out the few bots that usually land with me I normally leave that area with at least 10-15 chests and normally scout and open a few through Fatal Fields and Salty Springs before I usually die.
