For the alcohol part, you also have to consider Korea has a HUGE alcohol culture, that encourages alcohol consumption. You are the odd one and looked down on if you don't drink, and combining this social pressure with a high alcohol tolerance if you're lucky (wich Suga is known for having a very high tolerance), a lot of people (most people I would say) enjoy drinking in S Korea.
