And another huge problem in UK skateparks is scooters, in all seriousness there are literally at least 50 kids on scooters in every park you go to and they take up all the ramps and space
Exactly
I thought this was just in my town 😩 scooter kids hogging the ramps! I don't even see the BMX kids anymore 😩😩
Same in France
+Adam Jardine Rly? Dont they realize how freaking gay they look on those?
Haha, I wich they did
i dont see why everyones commplaining, i love livinng in london because its so big so there are bare spots to just find randomly.
Fred Neilson there's a spot on every corner.
Well yeah. but in london you have a 99 percent chance of getting stabbed or shot
Guy thats not true man. Definitely not gonna get shot. Just stay out off ruff areas and you wont get stabbed
@@oj8950 there aren't any guns in the UK it's not like America is a bit of stabbings but they're few and far between
Ikr just the rain is a pain in the arse
Hate most of the comments here degrading Londons skate scene and terrain.
Ive been skating in London every week for the past year now. and honestly its a blessing
St Pauls, Nightrider, Southbank, Blackfriars are all big main spots but honestly if you just look around there is so much to skate and its amazing.
No way would i ever go to america to skate over London.
For sure! Pau Gasol theres just something about London. If you skate here you should know. sure the US have better parks. but our street spots although grimy are sometimes just plain amazing
+Revamp 2016 hello, I have been skating for about the same time as you, I live in london, I can agree that there are some good spots but the truth is the skate scene in london is not that strong compared to other countries, but getting to the point, people just have to adapt to the skate scene, meaning softer wheels and generally just learning to skate in london. I will admit, the area I live in the community kinda sucks for skating (not saying the whole skate community is bad, just generally where I live).
Corrosive You gotta be more open and introduce yourself to everyone no matter who. i am known by a load of london skaters simply because of games of skate and saying hi, its truely down to you
Richard Parker your mostly right. Skateboarding didn't sink into London's culture because everything is so tight and so much people. I cant go out on the street with my skateboard that much because the streets in london are terrible and you would be lucky to find people skateboarding. In my life I have only seen about 5 - 6 people skateboarding on the street. That's in 16 years that I have been here. Its a real shame ): At least in my local area I have noticed biking has had a rise in popularity, I see kids doing wheels while holding onto a pole/ tree with one hand lol, hopefully they will build a skate park or something for the kids hat do biking so I can use it XD
+Revamp 2016 I've been skating for around 2 years now in London and I've come across many skaters and to me it doesn't seem like they really care about the scene they simply skate for fun and the feels skating brings.
London is more than the home of the Queen. It's also home to a lot of fun spots. Isle Skateboards Nick Jensen shows you the local shop, the spots, his crew, and more on SKATE London.
too short duration dude
shadiqi hutomo I agree, these could definitely be longer. especially if they come out only once every three months
My last name's Jensen. Just sayin'.
awsome
Smores agreed! like in some of the spots there's like 1 or 2 tricks and then they move on but still an amazing series. :)
skating with your mates is one of the best times you can have in your life

cant believe he didnt go southbank
or baysixty6 or whitegrounds
GBM Crew fuck whitegrounds. And also, Bay is a park? Nick doesn't even skate Bay, why would he show a Nike park he doesn't skate?
***** dude idk what parks he skates. and yh white grounds is pretty shitty tbh. good for grinds but their half-pipe is apauling
came down to the comments to look for this :DD
South bank is overrated and shitty. It's now for tourists. The streets are best! Plus crystal palace skatepark is fucking amazing. Just opened up about a year ago nearly my local... them scooter kids though..... wanna kill em all..
One of the best SKATE episodes! Nick Jensen seemed like a really cool guy and I got a good feel for skating there
You don't even know how long I've been waiting for this. I love RIDE
Amazing skating. And the clear beautiful weather makes London look next level.

I have literally been checking Ride Channel for this video since the last one like last year...

this was sick but I'm still waiting for the series with the magenta crew where is it??
I skate in London and find it a bit rubbish sometimes, but this video makes me want to go out there and learn to do those tricks.
amazing culture !!!
keep it up ✊
peace from Germany ✌
The best one yet!
it's amazing what little spots you can find in london
Would love to one day travel and skate spots like these!
I love London, great video
Probably the coolest SKATE locations ive seen
Waiting for this for ages XD
This kind of skate video pumps me up to skate
This video was so sick! Skate more London, especially Hackney
Ride channel is the best i love watching yall skate so i made a youtube channel to be like all of yall gavin skates
top lad, also really like the vibe of this edit.
London looks soo ravishing! I would say this would be my next destination. Love to travel! Hopefully I could get a working visa there so I could stay long term. Doing that = more skate time!
finally new video from the SKATE series
I wonder why they didn't show the south bank but who knows I guess it's because that park is so well known
It's not even a park XD
maybe they assumed it wouldn't be around much longer - but hurray, the legacy that is South Bank lives! London must be the only city in the world where a large part of the public and even the mayor would take the skaters' side and oppose demolishing one of skateboarding's historical spots.
Because it's not on that route, it's pretty far out of the way from where they were .
Yeah so true!!
nice piece of work guys!!!
finally!!!
Reminds me of the rugged new york skating.
Skate Vienna would be awesome. Beautiful city. I come from there. There are so many good spots.
I love the beginning of the video that sound
Best video in awhile
Yes!
My uni was situated along the Thames - chancery lane, shard etc. made me nostalgic 😭😭
thank you for introducing me to The Stoop
Very good episode!
literally my favorite fucking song and rad skating, good shit
FINALLY.... SKATE LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please do a SKATE Shanghai! I don't want to get lost when I go skate there!
Finally!!
this was so dope!
I am no skater - but i like all kind of "alternative" sports ;) and this music is soooooo smoooth! yeah. greetz from a freeridemountainbiker!
Nice vid guys. Looks like it was filmed on a Sunday because it's really crowded in London these days!
i’m from London and i’ve never heard of Slam City, totally checking it out
4:10 How did you get into that business park without being immediately thrown out? Ive tried every day of the week and I still get thrown out before I even get close to it.
Great video guys.
Fascinating
EPIC video
I love London
No Southbank?
so good
Love the quote of how you just have fun and not looking for spots themselves
I went to check out a skatepark in Devon today at a place called Exmouth which is south west of UK. I live in Torquay which is about 30 ish miles away. Ended up getting there at about 5pm and there was not a skateboard in sight, just scooters and bmx's. Not hating on them but it just seems that there isn't much skaters anymore. Everyone is taking the easy scooter approach.
skate is so awesome :0
nick jensen es el mejoooooooooooooooor! saludos desde peru!
YES
london is so beautiful
Should do wales, I love in the valleys and we have a lot of skaters here
What a legend
Where was the location of the last spot of the day coz i would love to check out da place dude?
Reminds me of skate manila so much..
those skate decks look perfectly splendid. I ll try and find a 7.5 er once my valiant wooden steed decides to go pear shaped, cheers! oh and if ride channel is anxious to do a SKATE Oceanside, I ll oblige most emphatically.
I found it! the last spot everyone is asking for is marlborough sports garden
If u want to see more of London skating watch Sasho Dotchev
