I don't think they are underrated at all. But I get what you mean. I could name one, Brave Litte Abacus. Also an acquired taste, which is similar to mewithoutYou. Sadly they also disbanded. Check out their song 'I See it Too'. Very good band, let me know what you think!

I think what he means is more along the lines of not enough exposure in the right places. They certainly were pretty niche. And I am definitely biased. But when it comes to bands with crazy amounts, of not just good songs, but amazing musically talented pieces of art. That's a shit sentence but whatever. Mewithoutyou's first 4 albums (all I listened to. Up to brothersister) is perfect.

@@jakeevans6 OK clear ! Their later albums are some of the biggest growers I have ever listened to. For example 'Pale Horses' I would rank up there with Brother, Sister while at first I thought it was a letdown.
