Acrylic pouring - cells over cells

  • Cells over cells! If you like cells, you will not be disappointed with this acrylic. The acrylic picture only needs three colors. White, umber and cadmium orange.
    In all three acrylic colors, there is a little silicone oil (see the green bottle in the beginning).
    The result is a firework of cells of different colors and sizes. Due to the discreet coloring the picture still does not seem overloaded and you can always discover something again. I really like it a lot and I hope you enjoy seeing it.
    As always, I appreciate your comments and do not forget to subscribe to my channel so you will not miss a new picture.
    Creative greetings
    Tiktus

    I liked it best before all the cells. I think it's my OCD but I find a million little cells to be overwhelming. Lol. I love the great big cells in moderation the best. How can you best achieve big cells in moderation without getting a million little cells as well? P.s. I love your work. Between the dramatic music and the simplicity of the number of colors (usually only a few) It's very relaxing. Keep up the good work. Cheers

      Many Thanks. With the cells you can control something with the silicone oil. If you only want a few, you need to take very little silicone and stir only once or twice. If you want many small cells, stir the cup often.

    • @user-rh9bp2dz5k
      @user-rh9bp2dz5k 5 лет назад +4

      Stirring colors right before adding them to flip cup and immediately pouring is one way to get small cells but another is this.....Slowly applied low heat = big cells without the small cells....achieved by the large torch. Rapidly applied hot heat = little cells achieved by small handheld torch.

    • @Lexielouwho

      @@user-rh9bp2dz5kthanks for the info. What cell type would a heat gun make? Would it make bigger or smaller cells

    • @user-rh9bp2dz5k
      @user-rh9bp2dz5k 5 лет назад +1

      @@Lexielouwho I'm not sure because the thing I saw on it was just small and large torches. I would imagine a heat gun being less hear would cause less but bigger cells. Some like it better that way. But my guess on the torches would have been the opposite of what it was....that the small torch would havr produced less heat and have produced less but bigger cells.

    You have wonderful style -- and we don't mean just the painting. We have watched countless videos on acrylic pouring, and most of them are --pardon us, we don't mean to be cruel-- dull people who blather on with a lot of useless filler talk, they never speed up the video, so we have to agonize through minutes of watching them do the mundane stuff like slow pouring and even slower tilting, and then a bunch of more useless blather at the end … creating a 20 minute video that could have taken five. Plus they have crappy lighting, no sense of how to do a video, and no music. That's why your videos are such a joy in comparison. Professional, fantastic music, speeding through the right parts, and a little information when needed. You are fabulous! Thank you so much … you have an appreciative audience here. --Ava

      @TiktuscolorArt  5 лет назад +6

      Thanks Ava. Those were exactly the things I made my own videos from.
      I've been painting more abstract pictures for some time now and found the pouring by accident. I was wondering why it always has to be boring videos. So I tested it, how it works with own videos and now it seems to please the people :-)

    I saw the bottle caps on the bottom corners. Are they attached temporarily somehow? So, when you poke a hole on the top of the inverted cup, you prefer the paint to seep out rather than lifting it yourself? Does it make a difference in the design or cell effect?

    • @TiktuscolorArt
      @TiktuscolorArt  5 лет назад +1

      The bottle caps are attached with hot glue, which you can easily detach. The hole in the cup lets in air, the color flows better down. I have not compared it yet, so I do not know what's better. I do it that way.

    Hat was von einer Granitplatte, sehr ausdrucksstark. Machst du eigentlich vor dem Fixieren noch etwas wegen des Silikons? Es gibt ja Künstler die ganz darauf verzichten weil sie befürchten das die Farbe nicht gut haftet auf der Leinwand.

    • @TiktuscolorArt

      Danke Karsten auch für die Unterstützung bei "dummen" Kommentaren 😬 Das Silikon nehme ich vorsichtig mit Feuchttüchern von der Leinwand. Mit der Haftung hatte noch nie Probleme. was ich schlimmer finde, wenn die Leinwand durch das Silikon freigelegt wird. Gerade am Rand oder bei dunkleren Farben nicht so toll.
