- Sometimes it's the small things that can make a big difference. Today I'll show you a very simple acrylic casting method with which you can make a nice picture.
With the colors you can decide freely what you like, I have chosen Indian yellow on black.
Everything mixed with water and Pouring medium and only in Indian yellow came a few drops of silicone oil for beautiful cells.
Have fun with acrylic pouring, do not forget to subscribe to my channel so you will not miss a recent video.
Many Thanks

What do you need for acrylic pouring / fluid painting?
In acrylic pouring or fluid painting, diluted acrylic paints are cast on the canvas using various techniques. This results in quite random results. Every picture is unique.
----------------
1. acrylic paint
----------------
We need artists acrylic paints, here there is no fixed brand. You can use what you like here. Acrylic paints from brand companies usually have a thicker consistency and therefore lower consumption. Cheap brands are often thinner, you need a little more color.
I use different brands, look for what suits you and your wallet. Possibly. you have to adjust my Pouring recipe, which comes down below with your acrylic paint something.

---------------------
2. The Pouring Medium
---------------------
The Pouring Medium ensures that the acrylic paint is fluid and pourable. There are now many varieties here. I myself use Liquitex because even without silicone oil beautiful cells are possible.

--------
3. Water
--------
Only acrylic paint and casting medium is usually not enough, the color must be made a little more liquid, but I use normal tap water. At the end, the ready-mixed color should flow evenly off the stirring tool like warm liquid honey.
---------------
4. silicone oil
---------------
Silicone oil is used to get nice big cells. The silicone oil only in colorful colors, not in black or white. Add 3 - 5 drops / puffs of silicone oil to the ready - mixed colors and stir only briefly - one to three times. There are different consistencies I use cst 400.

------------------
5. Final treatment
------------------
If the pictures have dried after about 3-5 days, the acrylic paint will not shine as well as when wet. To restore this shine, use the Pouring Medium. But you can also use special gloss varnish to create even more shine.

Otherwise you only need a canvas in its preferred size and a few cups to touch the colors.
----------------------
My acrylic pouring recipe
----------------------
1 part color
1 part Pouring Medium
1/2 part of water
!!! Important, the canvas must first be primed with Acrylic Pouring Medium or paint, otherwise the edges absorb too much paint.
----------------------------------------
Cast acrylic - quantity calculation
How much color is needed for his canvas?
----------------------------------------
Approximately 0.3 grams per square centimeter, this is the complete mixture meant. Suppose you have a canvas of 40 x 40 cm = 1600cm2. Calculation 1600 x 0.3 grams = 480 grams of complete mixture so all colors, pouring medium and water added up.
For a 40x40 cm two-color image, the mix looks like this:
Rounded up to 500 grams so that no later color is missing:
100 g of colorful paint
100 g of fluid medium
50 g of water
100 g white color
100 g of fluid medium
50 g of water
On the bottles is usually a milliliter indication, you can take that in grams, 250 ml color is not exactly 250 g, but the difference does not matter.

One man's art is another man's ........ Its a nice whimsical piece.
Simply elegant, loved it ! Thank you!!
Why doesn’t anyone show the dried end product. Yes it’s nice and shiny with wet paint. Changes completely when dried.
I usually show the dried product on my videos. Sometimes I show them after they are preserved in resin, varnish, or acrylic spray too.
Ive had a few come out shiny
There are lots of artists who show the dried painting at the end. I watch Tiktus videos for ideas, inspiration & techniques
Watch Molly's artistry for that. She shows the dried results as well and she is awsome
Mely D always shows the dried result, and often uses a topcoat to create a liquid look
This is a great example of Simple is Best. Absolutely Beautiful.
Einfach.. aber genial 😎👍
Danke für diese herrliche Inspiration und die technische Beschreibung im Kommentar.
Thanks a lot for the inspiration and the technical describtion under the "show more" section.
This is beautiful! It's the first pouring I've ever seen that looks like actual art and not a child's craft project. You are clearly very talented. Please do more videos like this because RUclips doesn't need any more sloppy craft videos. Maybe a pouring basics series (materials and techniques). New subscriber.
I could watch this all day!
I will try to give you more to see. :-)

So nice,
So beautiful 💖
Beautiful... just beautiful x
Acrylic pouring in and of itself is an artform for beginners....
I'll give you that pouring is simplistic, but the layout and design still require forethought and knowledge of how the colors will react with the silicon. Still, the end result is quit nice. Reminds me of natural quartz slivers.
@@theumpteenthtime8854 Its quite beautiful.... I love that it is simplistic in nature, it brings new people to the world of creativity!
You come up with the best techniques!!

The katy pery :-) And without gloves is not at all, the Pouring medium sticks like crazy.
Awesome:)
Silmple is best! ^^ Good~ I support you. like 4!
There you are right, thank you
Agree!
Amazing 😉
Sieht sehr interessant und schön aus.
Extraordinary beauty. Thank you. Love this
Me gusta.
Loved💖✨
Gorgeous 😍
Sehr gut!
Killer 💛🖤💛🖤
Another new technique - for me that is.
That’s really cool 😎...how did you get the yellow to not turn green when mixed with the black? Every time i use yellow and black it turns green.
That's the Pouring medium I think. it prevents excessive mixing of the colors.
This is awesome! I am going to have to try this on one of my upcoming videos! I truly love your work, keep it up!
Thank you for this I like it
😍👍🏼manchmal ist weniger mehr.. cool

Weird I did one acrilic pour and it states shiny and rubbery. But all my others dried out. It was weird. But to get it shiny again... What is the best product to use?
Oh my! This is gorgeous. How did it look when it dried? Did you seal it?
Thanks, the black has swallowed a bit of the yellow. Otherwise it looks like in the video. I sealed it with gloss Virnis.
This one gets the resin for sure. My favorite.
👃🎅👁🚴🎅👀
Black and yellow
Hola el liquitex se echa como viene en el bote o hay que añadir agua? Gracias
Very nice minimalism. For your preparation do you use pouring medium, floetrol or a mixture of vinyl glue and water?
Thank you. I use Liquitex casting medium
Ok, thank you for your reply. Looking forward to discovering your next videos wishing you a prolific 2019 year ;o)
MAGIQUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are aw3some
Hi, A great looking painting. What size canvas did you use?. Is this 40cm x 40cm?.
1k like congratulation !
Many Thanks :-)
How much silicone did you use, and are the paints glossy or matte ? Thanks for posting.
The colors become slightly dull when drying. There you have to use a clear coat. Silicone I just add a few drops. In my current video you can see it: ruclips.net/video/B9fw15azPGk/видео.html
