0:37 No-Comply 180 2:25 Fakie Bigspin 4:27 Boneless 6:12 Nollie Shoves 8:34 Shuvit Revert 11:56 Tips for learning tricks when you get stuck Enjoy:) Great video as always Sean.
Boneless tricks are versatile . Some of the only tricks I can do but people people ask me what it was 😂. I have a hard time doing a regular boneless . Im goofy : step off my backfoot (left) and grab with my (right hand) in the middle and LEAP forward , looks kinda Ollie South w/a grab . Do the same thing with hand closer to rear truck and rotate Like a shuvit . Or fingerflip for a fake airwalk kinda thing . I have never landed a reg no-comply but can see where a 180 might be easier .
They're fun for sure - I actually nailed switch shuv-reverts first bc you're returning to normal stance. This was 18 years ago, and I'm just starting again at 39, but all these tricks came back real quick (esp fake big spins), except boneless' man -- and I used to bone the hell outta them every way til Sunday. Weird. maybe just not as good at bending right down now (I'm also 6'7" lol ). Give them swicharoo shun-reverts a try though, you might be surprised. Peace x
I think that's part of the learning curve. Because at that point you 'think you understand the trick', but might end up doing it slightly different from the ones you've landed? I know sometimes the kickflip attempts are closer than the next day. It's usually a matter of forgetting things like shoulders position and not scooping the back foot, but popping straight down.
I watched all of your videos last night and learned so many hacks to tricks ive known for years but never did properly , changed my whole swerve up , thank you so much for your time
I want to know: how do these 5 tricks contrast and compare when you ride TIGHT? I've been skating for 18 years (I'm 30, skating since 2001-2002, since 12 yrs old) and I've noticed out of the hundreds of skaters I've met, I'm probably the only one riding tight enough so that I have to lift my nose to turn instead of shifting weight. I've seen this video a few times and It just seems like tightening your trucks would have your focus shifted on the trick rather than immediate balance at the landing. Can you do a tight vs loose of this? thanks.
Sean Brown for real man! 🔥 💪 I really appreciate how much detail you put into teaching each trick. I really felt like a was learning something new, rather than hearing the same information that’s repeated in almost every tutorial video😂 got a sub from me!
These are nice! I got to try some of those fakie or nollie ones soon. I still have to work on getting my regular pop shove its down whilst moving better though. I kind of got them, but too slow. Definitely getting better each day. And still 'stuck' on kickflips. I kind of know it has largely to do with (not) popping straight down now. And sometimes the flick catches too much of the board kicking it forward. Kind of touch to get both of those issues fixed at the moment. But... maybe I need to work more on my ollie too, as that sometimes lands a little bit off too. I got them down, but maybe simply not well enough yet.
Thanks for the video Sean! I definitely needed this I’ve got the basics down (ollies, cabs shuvs both ways and fakie both ways) but I don’t feel confident enough to commit to kickflips
I’ve literally been working on the first 3 recently, I’ve got short clips on my “channel”, the boneless has been the most confusing for me to figure out some how!! And Nollie Shuvs scare the crap out of me, not yet committed to one! Don’t know what it is but I don’t like them 😂 I can get the rotation but not the commitment to land! Might go for the shove it revert tomorrow!

im 30 i just started skating a couple days ago and i practice ollie yesterday for like a 100 times, today i wanted to practice but i cant bend knees ghahaha
Sean Brown i just got my heel flips and and varial flips down, i've got 180s bs and fs in every position, and shuvits bs and fs in every pos, what do i learn next?
I think Bodyvarial variations are good if you're stuck, too. Ollie Bodyvarial, Kickflip Bodyvarial, Shuve it Bodyvarial. These are not that hard if you have the basic tricks down🤟
Seeing a body varial kinda late are especially cool . I like how really technical skaters will throw that in for the "wait, what was that ?" . Saw a kid maybe 12-13 playing skate and no lie did a kickflip to bs tail then shove out down a Bank . Dude did the same , or I thought . Big debate ensued . The shove hit the bank and did a 180 Back and varialed the landing . He had to prove it again . He didn't sadly but he was doing a demo regardless I have no clue what was going on after that
I learn the fastest off of your tutorials. You just mention all those little things, that for people who skate all their life are obvious, so they don’t even mention it when they are explaining. Keep up your good work 👍
In a way yes, but when I think of pocket, I immediately think either the tre flip pocket or the front shove pocket. I want to describe the whole area where your whole foot should go
@@destroya_2345 I noticed it helps when the front foot is a bit more towards the toe side of the board, that way it gets in the way less. Also, you kind of need to jump pretty high with the front foot and do like a hop backwards onto the board. I also noticed you don't need to pop super hard contrary to what you generally hear as people recommend popping the trick and doing most of the front shove scoop in the air as that's easier. While true, you can do it the 'regular pop shove it' way. I'd just say a front shove without a pop isn't really easy or possible unless you scoop really well frontside.
@Skate Passion: Same. I'm now closer to landing varial kickflips, than the kickflip itself. Something in my sliding up the nose is off, because I keep getting a flick fine, but the board lands 40 degrees off and like half a skateboard length in the nose side direction. So can't land it yet.
Mentally act like your back foot is glued to the board, for fs 180 lean over your toes (even through you're turning towards your heels), for bs 180 make sure you actually try to ollie during the motion instead of scooping it
These are Soo hard for me everytime i land high ollie's the next day i forget them now i wanna learn new tricks but idk what to do and half of these are Soo hard for me cuz im goofy 😔
i was stuck staring at the dude watering his grass
Shoutout my dad haha
He should be wearing your merch!
I was actually expecting him to turn around at some point and wildly shout "DO A KICKFLIP" while hosing you down..mwahaha
ya that was hilarious

The hero we need but not the one we deserve.
Dude in the back more committed to is lawn then I am to skateboarding
Legend says that man is still watering his garden to this day.
Extra Trick: Fakie FS 360 or Full-Cab. Think of it as a fakie 180 but all you're doing is catching it on the nose and adding an extra turn!
They are really good yes
It's backside
@@charlienorton700 it's not backside *facepalm*
Good video, inspiring👍 haha the guy behind is just watering his garden and watching

I've been doing that same shit in my yard lately lol I feel like such a dummy.

This is what I’ve been needing I’m stuck on kickflips
Nice! That’s mainly who I was aiming for. People stuck on heelflips or kickflips
Same dude I've been trying for so long and I always land on the board graphic up. I can never get the full rotation.
Sean Brown I landed a nice leveled out kickflip but I can't do it again
Sean Brown thks man I was trying some of these and I had a lot of fun and I landed a really nice kickflip .
I’m about to try and learn all these today
His dad watered the same spot of grass for an hour. Grass is going to be a foot higher there 😂
hahaha. He was watering forever cause it was super hot that day

Never in my life saw such a good road. Wow
Most of these tricks are in my normal warm up routine. They're good for warming up the ankles before flipping your board

Sweet video!
Thank you for teaching while some dude in keens waters his lawn. You’re a trooper who deserves upmost respect
Am I weird ? I learned the fakie bigspin body varial (frontside body) first. This trick always surprise peoples, even better skateboarders.
I find that way more natural as well
I could see how that would work
It's 1 of those tricks that requires more balls than skill. Hats of to you sir, you won't catch me trying that.
