There is about 3 places here in Port Chester NY that anyone can find the best caipirinha and Brazilian food, Copacabana is the biggest Restaurant! There is also a small place across from Wallgreens that sells Brazilian products!
Minas Gerais State is the homeland of cheese/cheesy bread and of some of the best cachaças (please pronounce "cah-shahssa") of Brazil. But please try some cheesy bread with a piece of pork or sausage, not with pork stew (feijoada) and rice. Feijoada is better served with pork steak or ribs, fried manioc and kale.
Really what websites? Because I have many Brasilian friends with 'es' last names who have Portuguese ancestors. And me, being from Spain, have never seen anyone with the last name spelled Morales. Also, rolls made from Mandioca (more commonly known as Cassava or Yuca) originated in the Incan Empire (present day Ecuador and Peru) as Cassava was a common meal for them. This predates 1600 and is on the opposite side of South America from where Brasil is.
a informação sobre esta apresentadora ela nasceu em Taiwan mas e naturalizada Americana, ela é filha de uma brasileira com um porto riquenho. Ela morou na infância no Brasil e depois se mudou para os States. Ela fala inglês, português e espanhol.
I never said you are? I just wanted to know what websites because I have done my research and what I got is different. About.com says Morales is from the Iberian Peninsula, therefore its origins are from Portugal & Spain. Anyway you seem so sure that it's from Brasil yet you all you're doing is repeating the same thing and give no facts. No one knows who made it first, get over it. That's like saying Rice and beans was created by Colombians when in reality, every country has that dish.
The true origins of cheesy bread are unknown, they're just from South America. Like empanadas, every South American country has their own signature recipe but no country takes credit for inventing it because it's so common, no one knows for sure. Also, any last name ending in 'es' comes from Portugal as apposed to the Spanish 'ez' spelling, coming from Spain. (Gonzalez vs Gonzales, Mendez vs Mendes, Lopez vs Lopes) So she's probably originally from Portugal.
Chill dude. I just said that cheesy bread didn't originate in Brasil and you're giving me this huge rant. You can believe what you want to believe. I mean of course you think Brasilians created it, you're Brasilian. I'm sure you think your people are best at soccer and are the best looking too. Haha, you're like way into this subject. I'm not gonna sit here and argue about a food eaten all over the world. Tchau!
I love brazilian food! It's so amazing! ❤️
It is indeed but never try black beans, rice and "pao de queijo"! Trust me. They don't team up. LOL
