We have the same boarders but i didn’t dig to put them down in the ground. I just left mines on top of the ground. I think I like your method better. Now I got to work 😅❤
Awesome! I can use some boxwoods to plug into sparse hedges! Ella is so sweet-- I used to have mini-schnauzers, now I just have a single standard little guy. Take it easy on yourself, I hope you feel better. Box hedges look great! They just add so much structure to a space.
I've never met a schnauzer owner I didn't like :) It's all I've ever had. I really want a giant schnauzers but feel like I'd need more space for them to run.
It is one of the few things that came with the house. It was in pretty bad condition but we replaced a few wood boards and bought screws for it cause it was missing a few. It could use another coat of paint but it’s holding up well 😅💚🤞🏽

I went to Home Depot a couple days ago looking for markdowns. Nothing much, just 25% off some fruit trees. In fact I think someone over purchased this year. TOns of herbs and veggies left as if it was the start of the season, and still full dang price.

I actually didn’t dig mine down either. The grass just grows up over them a little which makes them look sunken!

My Home Depot was the same exact way. They really trash way too many plants instead of marking them down.
I just did the same thing ok got a hydrangea for 7 and hostas for 2 and stripe monkey grass for a 1 I went running ok

Are you putting potting mix in with the plants some sort of Soil mix to promote growth
No I always just plant in native soil. The only time I add soil is if I lost too much by digging the hole.
