Friendly tip! Great tips and advice. Many times paint peels on exterior and some interior. Cause is MOISTURE. I recommend, carry a moisture meter. Always read the label on the side of a paint can. Not to many do! Always sand before painting and clean the surface to remove the dust. The gooseneck guy! Cheers!
Excellent advice, thanks for doing what you do. You make our industry better making your videos. Ask your clients up front if they have any treatments you mentioned in your video. What we do is during our color consultation is, we paint a few inches in a few different areas down low near the ground, then we come to paint the home we test the areas we painted. This is done with a strike test. Place tape on the substrate, rub the tape and pull quickly and look at the back of the tape, if your tape is clean your good to go. Always moisture test prior to painting.
Great advice, thank you! Keep doing what youre doing.
