  • Direct-to-film printing, also known as DTF printing, is a new one-for-all-fabirc technique! It makes printing t-shirts easier and better! It requires a special DTF printer, ink, powder and transfer film, which altogether can bring vivid and vibrant prints on various fabrics. You can easily get amazing breathable, stretchable, soft and wash-resistant results!
    Procedures
    1. Use DTF printer to print image on the matte side of DTF film;
    2. Cover the printout image with DTF powder, and melt it in an oven, or using a heat blower gun or a heat press;
    3. Transfer the image onto the T-shirt by pressing in 160℃ for 12-15 seconds;
    4. Peel off the top clear film after it cools down.

    Hey i dtf printed my design on a tshirt with 200 degree temp and 15 sec time but after first wash the letters in design is peeling off,can you tell why it is happening?

    • @bestsubtv
      @bestsubtv  Год назад +3

      Hi, 150-degree temp and 15 sec are enough by flat heat press. To avoid your issue, please try to press twice with the same printing time and temperature. The second time is after you tear off the film, put butcher paper on the top of the design, and print again. It will strengthen the color and the design.

    • @bestsubtv

      DTF printing process is to print on the film and then transfer the film to the fabric or other substrates. The transfer process is similar to the heat transfer vinyl.

    • @bestsubtv
      @bestsubtv  Год назад +1

      The powder helps to absorb any excess moisture from the ink, which helps to prevent smudging or smearing during the heat transfer process.
      So, to improve the quality and durability of the printed image on the film, the powder is necessary to use in the DTF printing process.

      Hi, you can wash it after DTF transfer. We recommend inside out wash, which can keep the printing color longer. However, the durability is decided by the printer, the ink, the film and the powder. Please feel free to contact us at best@bestsub.net for more information. Thanks.
