Thanks for video 👍👍👍
So nice of you
i'm curious what the finished product feels like? Is it like a printable HTV (like EasySubli) or is it more like a sublimation transfer?
It's has a touch feeling, like UV but softer., more like sublimation transfer.
Thanks you very good video
So nice of you
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I love this video. Thanks for the highlight. I think I have found my niche. Please, my question goes thus: what are the equipment and materials I need to start with as a beginner and where can I get them???
I am very glad that we can help you. You need DTF printer, the ink, the film and the powder to start. You can get more information at www.bestsub.com or send an email to best@bestsub.net. Thanks.
Quelle est l’imprimante que vous utilisez svp ?
Pouvez vous me donner la référence ?
That is such a helpful, concise, complete tutorial! May I ask ... can you apply this on WOOL?
Hi, at this moment, no.
thanks, this video was very helpful. Can you reuse the transfer paper after each print?
Hi, this is a single-use film.
Thank you for the very detailed instructions; however I an not sure if I heard you mention the type of ink that you are printing with. Is it sublimation ink?
Hi, It's not sublimation ink. It's DTF ink.
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Thank you 😊 💓
Any time!
Thank you for the informations, I wonder if you can use the film twice, I mean the transfer paper can you use it again?
Hi, we can't use the film twice. Because the DTF film is coated on one side and glossy on the other, after the film has been used, it becomes glossy on both sides and cannot be inked.
Very interesting video, easy understandable. 👍🏻
thank you!
Thank you this video was very informative, thus I would like to know what is the model of the Heat press use on this video?
Hi Anna, please check this link www.bestsub.com/new-products/upgraded-jtrans-press.html
Hi, thanks for sharing this. I have a question about the powder, can you reuse the leftover powder for another print? Or do you have to throw away any powder you didn't use? Thinking along the lines of embossing powder, where you can just put the leftover powder back into the container to be used again.
Yes you can!
@@bestsubtv thanks.
I am looking at the DTF powder and some say 500mg some say 1000mg will either one work or is one better than the other? Thank you, I subscribed to your channel too. Thank you for explaining how this works.

Thank you for showing this!!! Question for you. What brand is the paper and powder and where did you buy it from? Did I understand the paper to be called A3 larger, A4 smaller? Again, you're a wonderful teacher!
Thank you so much! It is A3 film and A4 film. You can learn more about DTF printer from www.bestsub.com.

Hi I just want to ask, I have a DTF printer, but when I press on a 80% cotton 20% polyester black shirt, the color turns out dull even though the settings in Acrorip are at 80% ink 100% white 100% white on any colored.
Can you suggest some fixing? My DTF printer is very new so I think it has no issues. I can press on a different black fabric with no issue just on the polycotton one

What heat press did you use? For how long at what degrees should i melt the powder using it? I am extremely invested to follow your steps
Hi, we use BestSub heat press to print the t-shirt. Use 160℃, 15s to melt the powder on t-shirt. Thanks.
Great video. I would like to receive information about everything you are using here: the printer, the press, the powder, the films and everything. Is it possible?

After applying the DTF Powder
What settings do you use to heal the Powder using the heat Press?
160 Celsius for 2 mins or 15 secs?
You can put it in the oven to dry the powder, setting 130℃ for 3 minutes. After that, you can use your heat press to do the heat transfer at 160℃, 15 seconds. Cold peel off.
@@bestsubtv you put the powder to cure under the heat press. For how long at what temperature?
Hi thanks for this video but my question is what is the time that you will set for the heat transfer machine thank you
160 celsius, 12 - 15 seconds, medium pressure. Cold peel.
@@bestsubtv how long do you let the powder cure under the heat press?
Thank you for this. Is this done on a regular printer or a printer specifically for dtf? Thank you

Hi, I am using L1800 and PartnerRIP pro even though if the output size is lets say 9" x 9" the printer is printing it at 9"x10.5". How can i fix this. i had a spare printer so i tried to see if its something wrong with the printer but the output is same on the new printer aswell. i tried to do multiple test print but each time i am getting extra 1" - 1.5" Vertical depending on the image size. waiting for your reply
Did you contact your DTF printer supplier to fix the problem? Thanks.

Also is it possible to use this like the run off paper for furniture decals ?
Hi, you can use it on some fabric products.
Hello, how long should it stay under the press and at what temperature? Thank you.
Hi, put it under a press machine at roughly 160°C for 8 minutes. But you can also use sublimation oven at 120℃ for 2-4 minutes.
Hello I love your video but I have a question. When ever you do the print out why does it look white on the back side?
Hi, the DTF printer has white ink. So after printing, we put the powder on the image to make the ink dry. That's why it looks white.
I have an epson printer, would I still be able to use it with the DTF transfer sheets? Or do I specifically need an inkjet printer?
Hi, DTF printing system requires DTF printer, DTF ink, DTF printing film and DTF powder. You can check it on www.bestsub.com/dtf.html
Very cool. Thank you.
What is the name of your heat press?
Thanks. Our heat press brand is J.Trans Mate. Thanks.

do i have to use the same type of printer u used or can i use jus a normal inkjet printer

Hello, I have a question, I would be glad if you answer it. Does dtf printing feel like paper on fabric?
It depends on the film and ink type. Usually, you can touch it and feel the image, but it's more soft, like vinyl.
Olá, sou brasileiro, adorei seu video, mas me tire uma duvida; vc usa a tem peratura em ºF ou ºC?
Qualquer um está bem. Normalmente fazemos vídeos em graus Celsius.
So is the powder safe? I’m worried about toxic fumes when pressing. I will be ordering prints from Etsy.
The powder is safe. We have the certificate for them.
after the powder is cured on the film, how long do you have to press it onto a shirt. Do you have to press it on shirt right away or can you store the cured film for a few days. Thanks
After the powered is cured, you can use heat press to do the printing. Use 160Celcius degress at 15 seconds.
Cold peel please

@@bestsubtv Not answering the question there.
The question is: After the powder is put on the film, can we keep the film and only press the film days later?
@@CWYCharlesYes, we often store our printed films for future use. You can press later.
hi! can i store the transfer papers after heating? or should it be used immediately?
Yes. You can store it in a dry condition.
That was a very good question, thank you for ask
I didn`t get the printing part. How it prints backside white while it prints front side colored?
Hi, the DTF process is to print on a film and directly transfer onto fabric. Spread powder is necessary because it improves contrast and sharpness, making for better prints in general. You must apply the hot-melt powder while the DTF transfer is still wet. So the backside is white.
I thought you need a oven to cure the powder … but you can use a heat gun too?
Or you don’t even have to do anything and just go straight to the heat press ?
We use an oven to cure the power. You can also put it on the heat press machine when it's on. It works as well. You can check this oven www.bestsub.com/search.html?searchphrase=all&searchword=KX40LB
Hi, can I use an ink jet Epson printer with the DTF ink and film? Would that work or does it have to be a DTF printer? If so what’s different from a DTF printer and Ink jet? Thanks

Hi Ivy, you can check the link www.bestsub.com/dtf.html
If I want to do these tshirts and mugs , cups, hats , do I need two different printers?
Hi, sublimation printer can print on the sublimation coating mugs and cups. If the hats and the t-shirts are made of light polyester, you can use sublimation printer as well. If you would like to print on cotton material or dark fabric, DTF printer can help you.
Hey i dtf printed my design on a tshirt with 200 degree temp and 15 sec time but after first wash the letters in design is peeling off,can you tell why it is happening?
Hi, 150-degree temp and 15 sec are enough by flat heat press. To avoid your issue, please try to press twice with the same printing time and temperature. The second time is after you tear off the film, put butcher paper on the top of the design, and print again. It will strengthen the color and the design.
So many question how did you get it print on black? I’ve seen so many videos and no one ever gets on black and why the powers on back of image ?
DTF printing process is to print on the film and then transfer the film to the fabric or other substrates. The transfer process is similar to the heat transfer vinyl.
Dtf and sublimation is not the same thing.

Can you use the use the side b adhesive sheet with it?
No. Sorry.
Why is it necessary to use the powder? Can this be done without the powder?
Thanks
The powder helps to absorb any excess moisture from the ink, which helps to prevent smudging or smearing during the heat transfer process.
So, to improve the quality and durability of the printed image on the film, the powder is necessary to use in the DTF printing process.
Can you use a converted sublimation printer or do you need a DTF printer?
You need to use a DTF printer.
