    This is exactly ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS what I needed to get some exercise while I'm stuck at my desk all day. It's just the right size. Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.

    doesnt Even the same machine instructions tell you NOT to fully extend your legs????

    • @camper234
      @camper234 6 лет назад +12

      Yes indeed, my gym instructor stressed the importance of not fully extending the legs when he explained why I cringed.

    • @luzleyman
      @luzleyman 6 лет назад +4

      Todo iba bien hasta que extendiste las piernas, eso no se debe hacer, ya que puede provocar lesiones en las rodillas, en fin no lo han como lo hace él en el video para no lastimarse

    This device is so awful, firstly it hurts the lower back a lot because the sitting angle is very bad ... and secondly there is very little weight on the leg press

  • @riccardogallo4074
    @riccardogallo4074 4 года назад +6

    How do you calculate the weight? Is it directly the amount you select or do you need to scale it down by 0.7, like when you do with the seated leg press 45°?

    Did it for the first time today. I am a skinny guy, but even 70 kg was easy for me. I think i can do 10x 80-90 kg. is this even normal?

    • @tess2082
      @tess2082 4 года назад +4

      That's good, especially for starting, but not abnormal. I'm female and recently started as well, can do about 50kg. I've got no upper body strength though haha

    • @soakohaji8009
      @soakohaji8009 4 года назад

      @@tess2082 I tried to push my limits yesterday and could do 20x 20x 20x 140 kg, and feel like i can go even further, however I am scared to get injured as Leg Pressing can easily go wrong and ruin your legs. I will stop at 140 i guess.

    • @tess2082
      @tess2082 4 года назад +1

      @@soakohaji8009 nice! You've made some big progress! About the injury i wouldn't be too worried, as long as you can do them with proper form (don't lock your knees) i don't see how an injury could happen. That's more likely with other exercises anyway. Maybe stick to a weight that you can do at least 5 reps with if you want to be safe.

    • @4rd17
      @4rd17 4 года назад +2

      Very normal, on a leg press your bodyweight doesn't count.
      Squats are the best exercise for legs.

      *Tess * today i did
      20x 180 kg + 20x 180 kg + 20x 140 kg.
      That was my full power though. I am skinny but i definitely have strong legs. How about you. Any progress?
      Btw i am using seated leg press.
