Definitely use a different tent for heavy rain! I like The North Face Wawona, but it's much harder to set up and isn't instant. For an instant tent in rain, maybe try out the Gazelle T4 Plus? The bigger version of this tent, and with a longer rainfly for better protection.
The setup seems pretty straight forward and I love how easy it is to setup the rainfly. However, I think guying out the hubs on this will be essential as I reckon strong winds might be a bit of a problem. I love that we do have some innovation in the tent design space. Cheers.
