Some things I've seen for abyss looping are Downbeat abyss/grimness into beautunaful princess into abyss, and ready fusion into sea monster of theseus, theseus + lv2 into white aura monoceros to revive abyss. The former seems to most reliable, and the latter more so for if you're already on the deep-sea/atlantean stuff. Definitely excited to try to make the hand loop work, especially since I wasn't playing at the time it was around before
I don't think Elf getting banned really changed a lot. The deck still achieves the same things as it did before, Elf just made it more consistent. Abyss Keeper effectively does the same thing (including being material for Gigantic). Diva is a good normal for Keeper and having it in GY rotation gives access to Herald of the Arc Light. Herald of Pure Light is also very good for both getting your Gishki Abyss back into GY and recycling your Visions/Shadows.
One thing to note is that if you use white mirror to summon back the abyss AND search another copy you will not be able to trigger Abyss on summon effect because it will lose timing, the last effect that resolved was not abyss being summoned but you searching abyss
I think atlantean and mermails can be the best way to abuse gishki, they have a great synergy and can do some pretty strong combos and board, also adding moulinglacia to your combo can do some serious damage, ripping 2 cards, shuffle 1, and leaving double toad with neremanas can decimate opponents
This is exactly the same conversation I’ve been having with myself staring at my gishki cire on my desk. Gustkraken would be way more fun but overall worse bc second is harder….in a format of hand traps and zone locking the smart thing to do would be nimble and frogs and spright But smart is for suckers
I was really excited to play gishki spright before elf got banned, but I guess it's not all that bad since now traptrix (one of my favourite decks) is good now, so I can play that instead
Gishki is one of my favorite archetype and i love playing it with spright love your vids nash hope your having a good day. Also i remember one of your x-saber deck when will the deck get an update?

Really wish gust could shuffle on special but it needs to be ritual summoned! Nice video recapping everything. My favourite deck obvs
Thanks!!

The deck needs ritual summon on opponent’s turn
