Get yourself those obelisk the tormentor deck that just came out and play with those....it's fun and kinda old school too. But play casually only with friends it's soooo much fun

Thanks for watching the new video, guys! Hopefully you enjoy this duel as much as we did. Apparently some of these monsters are pretty strong in Duel Links right now, too?
EXACTLY! I always attack with it first (if it's on the field) THEN my big beat sticks. If my opponent pops it by battle, their monster gets popped. If I attack a defense position monster, either I pop it or nothing happens.
These were my first purchases when I got back into Yugioh with my friends. It introduced me to my favorite archetype, D/D/D (even if Pendragon is not used for D/D/Ds). For a while I tried to use a deck that fused the starter decks together. Sort of like chaos, but much, much worse.
This is so fun, but the sadness of knowing that I can't duel like you guys do simply because my eyes don't work really sucks. There is no Yugioh platform for the blind to play alongside with the sighted. We are a segregated community who have been ignored for a very long time.
Well I may be able to help with that since I'm good with programming and coding, all I'll need to do is simply do some heavy research on blindness and other stuff then create a platform from there. I'm not able to promise much but I'll certainly try to help.
Damn, I feel really bad for you bro. I hope things work out someday and maybe you'll be able to duel like them. This is unrelated, but love the Utopia profile pic (he's my favourite card)

Hey guys great video just wanted to note around the 6:00 minute mark when he attacked with exploder dragon you actually shouldn’t of taken any damage as exploder dragon cannot deal damage when it declares the attack
I've spent a good amout of time with that card playing Over the Nexus and I noticed that right away and it surprised me. He also missed lot of damage because he could have attacked with it and run over skelengel.
Just want to say thank you for getting me back to Play yugioh for fun and not serious. You're seriously the best RUclips channel. Greetings from Denmark ✌️
It's so nice to see a duel in which traps are actually sitting on the field and allows the classic "Aha, you activated my Trap Card!" flips. 😄 It sucked when your tribute summons got Trap Hole'd and especially sucked when your (then much more rare) Special Summons got Bottomless'd 😅
In the UK we got it as a 2 player starter deck. We got half of the cards from each deck and thats really sad. However, im thinking of getting the pendulum domination strucutre deck. Ooooohhhh how about a pendulum domination vs master of pendulum duel? That would be cool
This is absolutely fantastic. I never thought I'd touch Yu-Gi-Oh! again, it has been a LONG time, like...over 15 years long? And while I still have issues with the game, the nostalgia has been WILD! And this is exactly the kind of stuff I loved to see. This level of Yu-Gi-Oh! with nice synergies and simple back and forth seems so much more interesting than the hyper-combo mess I have seen lately. Casual play with friends is the best part of any game and you two are fun to watch! I do gotta say: PLEASE slow down the closeups of all the cards! I know almost NONE of the cards and had to split-second pause to even ATTEMPT to read them. Maybe a side display to keep the most recent card? The animations and layouts are nice, but this was a real annoyance. Good video otherwise! Keep it up, you have a new interested subscriber.
One time I was being punished, and had my cards taken away. 7 months into this punishment, it was pointed out by my mother, who disapproved of this punishment length, that the punishment only applied to cards taken away at the time. So I bought a few random card packs and that reiji deck. These were the newest card I've had in YEARS, and built a semi formidable deck. I miss duels like this. These are the most fun types of duels. It's for this very reason why I'd love Konami to make a similar product to MTGs Duel decks. Just 2 decks that are designed to be played against each other for fun, neither one more powerful than the other.

Man you guys did another great video takes me back to when you two dueled with the Link and Pendulum Structure Decks and Alec pulled off that Poison of the Old Man to beat Paul exactly and now Paul wins with Black Pendant which was actually a card I hated going against when I first started playing.
I have an idea for a structure duel. How about do a 50/50 match. Where you take 2 structures deck. Both players then pick 20 cards from their respective decks to keep. Then other 20 cards go to the opponent. I feel like this would be an interesting match.
@ 6:44 isn't it a misplay to attack the higher attack monster bcz of the effect that it can destroy another monster if it destroy 1 monster by battle ? Would have been better to attack the one with 1000 attack and get more life points ---- or am I missing something ?
Since you guys are starting to get a pretty big selection of starter decks who not do like a king of the hill series. Start with the yugi vs kaiba deck, whichever wins plays against the Joey, whichever wins plays against the Pegasus, and so on and so forth. Then do it with the structure decks, then at the end of those have the best starter face the best structure. You can do it with archetypes in general as well.
These decks are perfect for teaching the game, at least the basic and simplicity of the game. It has vanilla beaters, a special summon ace, and very nice old school staples and very basic effects. Konami needs to make these from time to time. To get new players in the game.
6:07 Also, I don't think Paul would of taken any damage there from exploder dragon since it states neither players takes any battle damage from attacks involving this attacking card. Although it wouldn't of really made a difference in the end of that round anyways.

Over in germany we had the two Decks mashed together and it came out as a ,,2player starter deck" out of one box. But you could play the 2 20 card decks as a whole 40 card deck. Me and my brother just bought 3 copies of the deck and build 2 pretty good decks to play against.
You all gotta do a 2x2 tag team Duel, 160000 LP (8000 each), mandatory 100 card random (can pick the cards and build the decks with teammate out of random selection of cards but each deck is 100 (so 400 cards involved total) No more than 3 copies of anything though. And whoever takes damage has to eat a random beanboozled bean (no looking a flavors prior to the match, only during and while eating) (just make a hole in the box big enough for only one to come out at once and whatever comes out is whatever is eaten, can shake it before but gotta cover the hole). And if its too one sided rematch with Pegasus random rules to spice it up. Will teach you all to be better duelists!

Really nice duel! We got to learn what Negate Attack does! Maybe one day Paul will show us what Pot of Greed does if we're lucky
I need a shirt with Alec’s avatar with the quote “you a wild dude”
You guys should do a competition but each of you are using the decks of the main protagonist of each show and see who wins.
Mirage Dragon! GOOD LORD, does that bring me back to my childhood. lol
These decks are so hard to find in Australia where I live.
I had no idea people where still selling these decks.
6:10 just to throw this out there. Neither player takes damage when exploder dragon attacks
