  • A TikTok user claimed that she picked up Brian Laundrie, the boyfriend of missing woman Gabby Petito, while he was hiking alone in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in late August.
In a video on TikTok published Friday, a user by the name of Miranda Baker said on August 29 she and her boyfriend picked up Brian Laundrie, who she said was hiking alone in Grand Teton National Park at 5:30 p.m.
This alleged incident was four days after Gabby's family last heard from her and three days before Laundrie showed up in Florida alone, driving the van that he and Gabby were traveling in.

My goodness, this is so sad. Please Lord, let this be the last week that we do not know where Gabby is. Also, please pray before you leave home and ask God to direct your path. Young ladies here is a quick test to determine if a young man is worth your time. If when you are speaking, he interrupts you without apologizing nor does he open the door for you, let him go. If he wants to use up your money or resources, but he can never use his money nor resources, let him go. Calls you at late hours after 9pm or wants to see you after 9pm, he is not worth your time, do not let him in. Call the police if he shows up at your home uninvited. If he wants sex with you immediately, let him go, call the police for a wellness check and tell them you want him to leave and never have sex with him. If he is rough playing with you, pulls your hair, pushes you down or calls you out of your name, he is not a bad boy, he is a disrespectful jerk, run not walk from him. If he trivalizes your accomplishment, run from that jerk. If you feel uncomfortable around him, leave and ask for help. Do not stay with a man just to have a boyfriend.

If the cops thought he offed her, they would do ANYTHING to get a suspected murderer off the street. And for the past 16 days, they have had a solid reason to arrest him. He was in possession of a potential crime victim's car. Since Sept. 1st. At home. And they never arrested him.
That just does not make sense. If the cops thought he killed someone it's their utmost concern for all other people to get him off the street. And for over 2 weeks they had a solid reason - felony car theft.
And they failed to arrest him. So perhaps the cops think this whole thing is a concocted drama they're working on to sell the story later.
That would explain why they haven't charged him with being in possession of a missing person's car, a person he was the last to see alive.
With suspected murder, you don't "build a case" with the suspect out on the street when you have a felony arrest for car theft available to bring him in and protect the public.

I hypothesize that Gabby told Brian to get out of her van and she left with her van (she owned it) to another campsite and thought that was it, but Brian managed to hitchhike to catch up to her. He even asked to get let out on the road before her campsite so he could sneak up on her and probably killed her soon after. The TT driver unwittingly let Brian catch up to Gabby so he could kill her.

It was the most perfect and safe excuse to get away. But she didnt. A reasonable person would have left him in Utah were he a danger to people. And leading up to the traffic stop, her social media pages were inundated with romantic intimate pictures of the both of them. Just realize that many people don’t leave an abusive relationship because of the mental part of the abuse (gaslighting, etc.) You are broken down slowly and methodically until you don’t know which way is up. It’s complicated and hard to understand why anyone would stay with someone like that but it happens all of the time and it’s heartbreaking and not everyone comes out on the other side.

@@madison_kr I have been with two abusive people. A reasonable person drops them like a bad habit. Which is what I did. You dont keep touching a hot stove unless you somehow find the burning sensation on your fingers a better outcome than not touching the stove at all. Who's to say he wasnt suffering from battered man syndrome and snapped? We already now he had physical marks on him from Gabby grabbing and clawing at him. @@UDPride I agree that we don’t know all of the details in this case but it bothers me when people generalize and try to say for sure what a person would do if abused. Not all stories are the same. I’m glad you were able to drop it so quickly when you were with someone who was treating you wrong. Not everyone can. People who stay to long aren’t “reasonable” anymore. They may not enjoy the relationship at all but have been broken down so much by that person that they don’t believe they can leave or do better. I am with you on innocent until proven guilty. My personal opinion is obviously not the law and the law needs it’s time to do it’s job. I just want people to realize that what they would do and what others might do is not the same and it doesn’t make a situation any more or less valid either way.
