George was brilliant
Well done everyone and thank you Dhani for doing this...
I knew I recognized Britt Daniel. The Divine Fits! Great song by the completely underrated fantastic George Harrison. Well done all.
You're underrated.
Such an amazing underrated song by George Harrison ❤️❤️❤️
You're underrated.
Одна из моих любимых с детства , с 1975го, когда я впервые услышал Битлз из динамиков катушечного магнитофона.❤
@@rudolphguarnacci197you're underrectum 🤣🤣🤣👌
George Harrison is a song writing juggernaut and doesn’t get the credit he deserves
Wrong.
@@rudolphguarnacci197 nope I’m right
@@lupehn
Sure you are.
@@rudolphguarnacci197 I am my dude
Fantastic song.Probarly the best song on the 'Let it be'album
Freddie Bear - "Fantastic" ? That's over the top. I'm a rabid Beatles fan, and though I like this song of his, it's an exaggeration to call it fantastic. Nor would I say it's the best song on "Let It Be".
"One After 909" and "I've Got A Feeling" are better in my opinion. ( Not counting the singles that were included on that album, of course ).
Graham Taylor yes, I agree with you and I also love get back.
I Agree! the best song from let it be, for me too.
Only because they neutered Dig it down to 59 seconds on Let it Be.
Graham Taylor chill out
The simplicity of daniels voice is amazing . I love this kind of voice. Like jeff lyne.
Great song. I think the drummer completely rocks and Britt nails it.
The people criticizing Britt Daniel for his vocals on this cover have no idea what they're talking about. This guy has quietly been one of the greatest songwriters and bandleaders in modern rock and indie rock. Spoon will be remembered for being one of the most consistently stellar bands ever, and Britt's trademark nasally and raspy vocals are the perfect balance between beauty and grit. He sings like Fogerty and Bowie.
Agree!
This is the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen
Its a nice istrumental, but it lacks of energy, it just needed a bit more charming in the vocals, still a nice cover tho
@@elshitposter1509
It was as energetic as it should have been.
I totally agree!!
I so miss George. I know he would still have been writing and working with others tirelessly, had he lived. I can hear his influences everywhere, but too, I can imagine more that he would have done. Happy Birthday George!
Hello😊
George must be smiling from Up among stars to see his unforgettable works means so much to this Generation. George Fest a great tribute
This song is such an ass kicking rocker. This guy does a great job.
Classic George. His lead on “Let it be”was absolutely killer. Old Brown Shoe really kicks ass. I me mine is underrated.
The Beatles in all can't be overrated.
Who ever had the luck to go through the development of music while they stretched the limits of Pop and Rock, opened doors for the bands to come (including the Stones, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin) influencing basically the entire 70s decade and invented genres to come (check helter skelter and Punk of the late 70s early 80s) will agree in the fact that the Beatles even though they count as most influencual Pop - Rockband of all times are still underrated.
And by the Beatles I mean everyone involved, starting with the 4 but also George Martin and the different sound engineers and countless musicians and composers that brought in their knowledge. The lady that played harp in Eleanor Rigby or the piccolo trumpet artist in Penny lane just to give some examples.
You're underrated.
They definitely captured the original vibe. Now I'm going to have to go back and watch those Let it Be videos.
jrichview Lennon and took waltzing. Classic footage
Thank You For These Sessions. And Equally Important- Thank You George Harrison. And Thank You To George Harrison Siblings & Families ❤
Hello😊
Britt Daniel is a modern master. Awesome cover!
+Sam Feinberg I agree..

Best cover of a George tune yet! Britt kills it!!
I really think this song could develop into one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Just go crazy guys.
Great entanterer thanks alot for the music over the years
Great one Britt!
Always making Austin

Great song makes me remember my past experience to hear different types of music beautiful the list never ending rock on
Britt Daniel showing over the years he belongs already to the classics in pop music
Sounds fantastic.
Done well and everything else looks like a great time with life goes on lucky enough to hear from
This one is a waltz!
Great performance

Très bon, bravo.

Toda mi juventud esta canción tenía mucha energía una puerta abierta a mi pasado
Eterno Beatle. George Harrison.
Great cover! ✌🎸🎵
Great entanterer thanks
(I no longer wonder what Robert Redford did after he left THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, wandering NYC streets, hoping the Times would print his story. Now I found him singing I ME MINE.)
I was looking for George doing I Me Mine live....
I hate to break it to you, but George is…
This is great...but I hope ALL the "official" live videos from this concert will be posted on RUclips very soon. Most of them, so far, are only available on RUclips in bootleg form, and the sound quality isn't as good as the DVD release. I do have (and love) the DVD, but I've been telling people online to be sure and check out Weird Al's performance of "What is Life", and I have to point them towards one of these bootleg videos and explain that it's _not_ the DVD.
And, darn it all, I _still_ want to hear the Cabin Down Below (house band) doing " Awaiting on You All" (which, I've read, was the show opener)! Please make it available--even an audio-only version would be great!
+Laura Unterweger Laura, have you heard the Dvd Version of ´I me mine´ ? Is it different from this?
Thanks for your reply.
+leonesenlaplaya I have the DVD and I'm pretty sure this is the same version.
LOVE THIS SONG 1970 LOVE GEORGE HE SHOULD OF VOICED HE THE ONLY BEATLE TO READ AND WRITE SONGS LAS VEGAS
Great
The original was slow... Brit Daniel (Spoon) does a great job. (He's hot)
Hello😊
ooohhhhh uhhhhh !!!
This would have been a masterpiece, had homie's back up singers set their purses down during the choruses and sung
enough good
which is the name of a guitarist who is also in a jacket as well as a singer, beautiful bangs, I want to get a haircut like that.
HELL YEA!!!!!
su voz suena muy dylan.
They should of played 'Sour milk sea'
+Freddie Bear Did anyone choose to play that at George Fest? If not, isn't it a pity.... lost George classic, ripe for a tight band like this to rip into.
I cant release this version!
I me mine.... fight by paul and john about the future
They were all arguing and even though I am a big Beatles fan, it was the best time to end it.
They had done enough.
Opened the stairways to heaven for next musicians generation.
Broke the chains that musicians had been hold from music industry.
A caleidoscope of excellent music of the 70s was about to come because the Beatles ripped down all boundaries of Rock and Pop Music.
Only a decade later, in the 80s the music industry regained control over quality of music.
A new band like the Beatles would be needed so badly for the next steps - wherever it may lead to...
i me me mine
What kind of artist , I wonder ?
cool.
17 musicians trying to perform what 4 did.
What about al of us who do not have Blu-Ray? Why can't it be DVD also? Bummer
+William Hosford Did you hit the "show more" button?
I have it on a regular DVD (not Blu-ray).
Yes I got it on regular DVD, it originally showed just Blue-Ray
The last song recorded by the Beatles. (John wasn't there.)
John was a no show (except for backing vocals) on a lot of Harrison's song.
John was done with the Beatles by now.
He was busy with Yoko...
Was watching Get Back. John had absolutely no respect for George. First time he played this, he ruthlessly mocked him. And it wasn't for laughs. And the waltz with Yoko wasn't a compliment either. No, if I had been George, that was the day I would've decided to bail.
@@tomcat061973crazy. not big into George's post-Beatles stuff, but he had some amazing songs with the group, including this one.
shame that more of his Beatles songs weren't covered here.
Nice song from Lennon
this cover lacks with Power
Why do you make such STUPID statements? The phrase, " this cover lacks with power"doesn't make sense in the English language. Ifyou're an ESL student, you have a lot of work to do.ig you consider English to be consider English to be your native tongue, you better start primary school soon -its already going to be difficult to catch up with the other kids- they are already way ahead of you in their lessons. Of course it's not the "real " McCartney, that goes without saying saying, he's been dead almost 50 years now and the Earth is flat, but you already know that since your head is full of some lighter than air gas, so you've floated up above the clouds and can see t that from up the there what happens to all the people who fall off the edge?
What guitar is the lead guitarist playing? Almost looks like a gretsch wildcat with a fender neck.
+MarlowWhere It's a blonde Fender Telecaster Thinline.
+Pedro Petracco He was asking about the lead guitarist, playing the semi-hollow with the bigbsy. I guess it's custom or modified.
+myrre3 Aw! Of course. I must have misread that. Derp!
i felt it lacked sth, i think it was maybe his voice all alone during the chorus lines. still a nice, neat cover
+Lucia Cecilia I felt like he could have sang the upper line in the chorus, yeah.
Vaya forma de estropear una gran canción...
Good Effort, but the guy dancing with the Guitar on the Left takes away from the Music Video...
Lead Singer is also doing weird things with his mouth/tongue while singing...
The Cut to the guy smiling with the Tambourine was funny and out of place...
Needs work, but yea, good effort...
Wish someone else would’ve sang this cover.
Estate agent rock….flat as f*#@k .
so obviously in the wrong key for me its really off putting! Not a good versio...
Such a great song but the reaching for the note is half the meaning.. like life is a struggle for something unattainable. singing it like this completely misses the point
expected Harrison - sorry but this boy is a huge disappointment after George. He's not even singing.
On the contrary, Dhani is following in George's footsteps in inviting his friends and contemporaries to share the stage.
Singer can't sing and guitarist can't play! I'll give you a C for showing up! :)
Why do trolls like yourself even reply? Might this be Eric Harvey?
he sounds awful :-/ i wish danhi had just been the only singer for each song
