John Deere riding tractor not starting after running out of gas, carburetor issues.

This mower came in with a suspected faulty fuel shut of solenoid. I was able to remove this shut off valve just to get the mower running.
The plug connection on the bottom of the carb had plastic melted out the side. Customer ran out of gas and then the mower wouldn’t restart.
