I saw her night 1 in LA.. yes I paid a lot of money for a ticket, and it was worth every cent. I have no idea how she will keep this up for another year--she does not stop singing and dancing for 3 1/2 hours. She deserves every good piece of karma that comes her way..songwriter of our generation, and one of the hardest working people in the business. I am trying REALLY hard not to go to another show, cuz it is so pricey..but...

Same. Paid a pretty penny for 3 tix…I just saw her last night (night 3) of LA leg, and it was an amazing show! She sings/performs straight through except for set and costume changes. She gives her fans their money’s worth. She added 15 more nights (Toronto, New Orleans, Miami) and I can’t believe it! More power to her! She is truly gifted!

Well, there are so many concerts going on this time but I've never seen one so talked about... and people being so hyped and happy... even our local celebrities are like clawing for a chance to get tickets. Salute to Swifties!!!
It’s amazing the Taylor Swift affect has on a city hosting her concert. It’s like Christmas or Hanukah had turned the city into a festive mood. The crowds of women greatly outnumber the males at the concert. The female concert fans range from pre-teens to grandmothers. The police at the event are there to prevent criminals who often gather whenever an event is held; there has been no reported violence at her events. Taylor Swift donates to local charities in the city her concert is held at. I can see why leaders of foreign countries are asking for a concert stop in their country.
A common thread comes up in so many descriptions of a TS concert.
The (women) attending have said again and again that they "felt safe" being at the show.

The economic impact of a Taylor Swift concert in one city is more than what one Super Bowl game brings. Also, with fans without tickets who are "Taylor-gating" outside the stadiums in various cities, more people are coming into these cities hoping just to catch a glimpse of the show and be a part of the event whether they're inside or outside the stadium venue.
Since a Super Bowl is a "Level 1" tier event in terms of security, the entire stadium is totally walled off where even the parking lots right at the stadium are not open for fans with tickets.

Not a fan... but I respect what she's doing. She writes her own music and sings very well. She has the whole package. I wouldn't pay 100 dollars to see her... but I get it. People are desperate to see someone with real talent.
This is the most important part about Taylor herself; She epitomizes the term “pull yourself up by your bootstraps”, a saying so many in the right-wing movement hold so high and dear. She’s been at this for roughly 20 years, before even her first album. There is no way her success was “bought for her with daddy’s money”. Anybody who has that mindset, take some time and get over yourself. Success hasn’t found that many more deserving than Taylor Swift.
Um she grew up in a mansion in west reading PA her father is a former stockbroker for Merrill Lynch and her mom was a marketing executive she didn't exactly grow up in the projects of the south Bronx. She quite literally grew up in a multi million dollar mansion. That's just a fact nothing right wing about it.
She grew up in Wyomissing, PA. West Reading is about a twenty-five/thirty minute drive from the Wyomissing/Wilson area, depending on traffic. West Reading has a reputation for being a bit of a rough area.
Wyomissing is where I also grew up and graduated from high school. The huge house she grew up in is not far from the Wyomissing elementary school, where I also went. Although because of the way the district lines are drawn, she didn’t fall into going to the Wyomissing school district, her parents’ huge house happened to sit where she was slated to go into the Wilson school district system. Wyomissing and Wilson are next to each other and are considered rival schools in the area. Wyomissing colors are blue & white with the Spartan mascot, Wilson school district colors are red and white with a bulldog mascot.

it's not really her, her tickets are actually way low than what is advertised. but due to the scalpers and resellers buying bulk tickets, the prizes of the ticket just really go on an astronomical amount of money. these people and groups are reselling the tickets in a higher prize hence why it's so expensive. her tickets usually according to my research is $49 - $499(this is according to the add ons and seats they'll obtain). the thousands of dollars are usually cost by you guess it resellers and scalpers.

And she plays two completely different songs of her over 200 song catalog every show acoustically. Plus she’s still recording 2 more re-recordings and who knows about new music. She is nonstop.
