- Taylor Swift had an epic 2023! From reaching billionaire status, to landing the title of ‘Time's Person of the Year, dropping two albums, releasing the highest-grossing concert movie of all time, setting the all-time record for most listeners of any artist and embarking on the more than 150-stop ‘Eras’ tour, it's not hard to see why 2023 was the year of Taylor Swift.

People can go hate her for being so "overrated" but it's actually true that she took the spotlight this year -- her biggest tour, tons of headlines, album remakes, etc. 2023 is hers.
People who think she’s overrated haven’t really given her music a chance. It’s tough though because she has so many amazing albums, you really need to put in some time before it really hits you. But when it does it’s the most amazing feeling. In the last few years I’ve explored albums by almost 2000 artists and Taylor has now become my favorite of all time this last month. Her songwriting, variety, perfect production, expressive voice, and amazing lyrics make her a one of a kind artist and her music gives me a high that I’ve never felt before.
I was not a fan,but I saw the Eras Tour movie and knew so many songs. I loved it,saw it four times at the cinema. And now I love her. She's definitely not over rated. Each album,each song is very different. I'm not even ashamed to be a fan and I'm 50 years old.
Jealous, don't be.
Love who she is and try to be more like her.

AND: she sat in that theater and watched it with the fans. She donated thousands of dollars to her staff including 100K bonus to EVERY truck driver involved in the tour. ❤ OH, and don't forget she writes her own songs, plays guitar and piano... Insane!
She gave her crew on Eras Tour 55 million. And those truckers etc all received a handwritten note from her,with their cheque.

Also - the fact she doesn’t just take one selfie with her fans but instead holds the button down to give them as many selfies as she can within the 5 seconds of meeting them…. Taylor Swift is simply unmatched.

Her market was teenagers like 15 years ago. Those teenagers are in their 30s now. And her music is a universal language, her songs and lyrics can speak to and heal anyone from any demographic. Her audience is so much broader than teen girls, although many teen girls really like her too. In my opinion she is the best influence for young people, in the public eye today. Hopefully she will be an influence on older generations too, because her messages are for them too.
Not even mentioning that eras tour is the highest grossing tour of all time making over $1 billion
