- APOLOGIES IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS FOR THE SECOND TIME. We have sorted out some sound issues to bring you a perfect working rendition of our Birding Challenge video.
How many different species can Toby and his team photograph in half an hour from the Pangolin Photo Boat in The Chobe, Botswana?
It has to be said that Toby doesn't get to guide too often so please excuse some of his initial misidentifications!
This is a bit of fun just to demonstrate that even in what is supposed to be rainy season there is always something to photograph in the Chobe.

Quite amazing !!
wow. so many species in 30 minutes . Botswana is on my bucket list.!!!!!!!! Thanks
Absolutely brilliant video and worth doing even in this current lockdown to see how many birds I
One can photograph from either your back garden if lucky or in the locality
Incredible 😍 I can’t believe how many you saw in such a short space of time - I want to visit Botswana even more than I did before!
We think it might be possible to do 30 bird species in 30 mins! Going to keep trying!
Great video - I'm sold.
I agree entirely about the time of the year!
I have photographed insane numbers of species of kingfishers, bee-eaters, weavers as well as the usual suspects on the Chobe in November and December!
If birds are your thing then this time of the year is pretty much the go to time!
See you for the next challenge!
Great video like all of yours, have to wait till after COVID19 clears to visit ... thank you!
amazing!!
Thank you. It was great fun!
Extra points for bin chicken!!!
Why just right channel on sound? Amazing video tho
Sorry... steep learning curve with making videos ourselves last year. - Cheers Janine
👍
you are looking at over £30.000 worth of photographic equipments
What? Why that much? The camera, lens, and gimbal are probably ~$5,000 each
I did it and I found 12! species in my garden!!!!
Very good going! Where in the world are you?
@@PangolinWildlife believe it or not: in Frankfurt / Main Germany! in a residential area near the city centre but with many gardens. And especially our garden is not so over trimmed, so it is a real biotop and refugium for birds and also for insects.
your count is off mate!!!- missed bird 22, a tall, brown haired Danielle, right side of camera @ 9:10
Lol. Wrong ID - blonde bird! ;-)
Danielle
Great entertainment. Apologies, but not the greatest photos at the cost of performing for the camera. Be still, be calm, be invisible and wait, then wait again for the bird to come to you,.
