Thanks for the tip. I have since purchased Weather Tech shades, the complete set for every window, to use while parked. Nobody can see in, and black side out keeps it incognito. But your tip could still be useful while driving, and for added security from people peaking in.
a little bit, but no big deal for me. It doesn't prevent the lever from coming up, but if I slide the arm rest as far forward as it can go, I need to bend my wrist to apply or release the brake. I could also slide the arm rest back at those moments.
How does the cup holder size in the console compare to the original cup holder? I tend to use that one in the middle most because it is a bit bigger than the others and would hate to lose it if the console one is smaller. However, I would love to have some added storage. Thanks for your great videos!! I also love my mirage :)
@@ajbrockm Unfortunately, the console cupholder is smaller. It's about 7mm in diameter, about the same as the ones up front in the center. The cupholder the console covers is almost 8.5mm in diameter.

Oh, that's a good question. It feels like it is right at 5' from the back of the passenger seat (pushed all the way up) to the back. When leaning the passenger seat forward, that sort of opens up a few more inches.
It may sound strange, but youtube is pretty much the only social media I use. It kind of fits with my old-school mentality. If you have any questions about how I did this, feel free to ask here. You could delete or modify the comment after I respond if it's something you don't want out there.
great step by step video-thanks- might buy a mirage soon
You're welcome. I'm 3,000 miles in now, and I am loving my Mirage more and more. If you get one, I hope you enjoy it just as much.
You are ready to hit the road! Happy traveling.
Thanks. It's been fun making the modifications.
Tint your windows with UV blocker tint paper. It will help with not only blocking the sun, but blocking people from looking in your car.

Does the center console arm rest hinder usage of the emergency break?

That's a great question. I am away from my Mirage right now, but I'll check tomorrow and get back with you.

Yes I bought my mirage in 2018, awesome little car!
What was the length back there?

@ nice
Hey. I also owned a Mirage and I want it to be a camper car. Is there anyway that I could contact you, like whatsapp or ig maybe?
