RIP Art Eckman!
Yeah seriously 😒 I just heard about him. Man was legendary! I was at this race also when I was like 16 I think.
Bummer. Art and Bailey were the best. Bar to bar!!
I loved Art and David as the commentators !!! They put you in the race with the commentary and enthusiasm!!!😎🙏🙏🙏🙏
Art was my favourite commentator. He just knew what to say, and how to say it. RIP my friend
Art and Bailey were the team!
This was the first SX race I ever attended! Seeing Ricky ride was mind blowing.
RIP Art! He was the best ever to do it, imo.
What a crazy night that was with all the ruts
rip art...what a duo these 2 was...!!!
RIP Scott Sheak
The comments about the hay and straw bails was classic Art and Bailey
I like seeing Jeff Dement ride well being as he’s a local boy but damn he had trouble in the whoops. Almost as if he needed a lot of practice in them and I think he would have been such a better racer
You in the spring/humble area?
I will always miss that smell and that sound
Was there, Miss the Silverdome times
I was there, too! Forgot how close McGrath came to winning that race, argh!
Ditto- went just about every year in the 90s
The smell
It would stick in your nose for a day or two.
that's why we put "smells like race day" on our newest t-shirt!
RIP ART ECKMAN
Art Eckman
Bravo Roncada 🇫🇷 🇺🇸
It’s crazy how it’s changed
I was at that race.
RIP Art and Sheak.
RC will always be the GOAT ON A BIKE…But desperately needs to watch this race to learn as much as possible from two of the best ever in the SX Booth!
Carmichael does a good job in the booth , I enjoy his professional commentary
I used to race at the Silverdome. Amateur and pro.
Off the chain. Deegan.
Little did they the metal Melisha was soon to be born
Someone explain to me why the video quality looks so bad. Surely it didn't look this bad back then when it first aired?
Because these are digital copies of VHS copies.
The good ole days!
Somewhere around 2002 I lost interest in watching the sport. I still raced as much as possible, but the coverage changed. Too much talk and too many interviews.
This was before Deegan developed his fake blink 182 California accent.
Come back! We miss you
F Deegan!
He was east to hate. That fake blink 182 accent
@@HWG-wm8ld hes still easy to dislike. That fake smile. The fake "positivity" message he tries to promote. Then he pulls that shit at Lorettas last year. The dudes a fraud/sellout.
