I really like your rig. So many people are doing these fancy builds that are not all that functional. Yours looks really simple, roomy and super comfortable. Nice setup for sure!!
I have two 500watt portable generators. I have one at the house for power loss, earthquakes, etc. Then I have one in my RV for use in Boondocking. Never have to turn noisy propane generator on! Probably will add solar panels this year to the set. Love them!
I like these type of reviews where you show the unit in the real world doing what the company says it can do.instead of other youtubers who just basically read off a company provided script, much better would be to film its use for a week and edit daily use with starting battery charge, consumption and final charge at the end of the day or along those lines.
Thanks for showing this! I just ordered one and plan on building a truck camper, and I will be building the electrical system around this unit. The inverter on this unit is a beast, and I love the 2 independent input ports feature. Can't wait to get it and start building!
Great review and all in English-- not super tech talk. Nice! I have a Jackery 500, 100w panel, and the storage bag. Love it. Its fabulous. I'll need a bigger one for long trips. Travel safe, Russ. Love your vids.
That jackery 1500 is a great little machine and these things are getting better and better for power and the amount you can run off of them. Pretty remarkable little machine. Thank Russ for input for us that are at home...Carolyn and Colin from Canada...
I might get one later but seeing how I just got the 500 and then the 1000 last year, I’ll have to wait a bit. What I like about that is that I can rotate them with the solar panels.
Looks like the best system at the best price. Thought it ain't cheap. Jackery sounds like something your unemployed brother in law gets booked for 5 counts of.
WOW Russ what a great review. I always wonder if there was a power station that could power those devices. Especially a laptop, cooler and a fan all at the same time. Good stuff Thank you for sharing!!
You quickly become the envy of the campsite or campground when you show up and break out this gear. Don’t remember how I ever handled being on the road so long without solar. It’s so simple, anyone can do it.
For me, the real test of the value of one of these power banks is will it run a 12 volt refrig/freezer for continuous 24 hour periods, and how much charging would it have to have to do so. For example. Jackery 1500, plugged into solar for 24 hours, with frig running. Would it run refer say, for a week?
Russ, do you know if they have increased the number of cycles this unit has compared to their older models? At 500 cycles, they used to be about half of their competitors at about the same cost and abilities. That tells me Jackery is/was not using the best chemical makeup in their batteries.
Bluetti AC200P with its LiFePO4 is what you wanna check out if battery cycles are most important to you. Of course it should be important to anyone, but some might have other priorities that are more important. I feel like they are just starting to turn a corner with LiFePO4s becoming a big thing in solar power stations (you have AC200P, Lion Safari ME, Bluetti EP500). Lion Safari ME has an option to link a 2nd battery to it (and it's a good looking link too, the 2nd battery neatly stacks on top of it with a nice looking attachment cord in the back)
Good job Russ figuring that all out. But I'm thinking you wouldn't be spending all that money of you knew Nicolai Tesla's free energy will be broadcast to North and South America from Trump's wall in a few months. Tesla made all forms of electricity obsolete in 1903 when he invented the free energy. Try to imagine buying a car with an antenna and no batteries. Your drone would be liter with unlimited flight time.
Well, Russ, I'm not sure what you are trying to prove..?? Is Jackery pestering you for some type of positive review, and pointless at that, in exchange for the sogen..?? At the very least, whatever the rated inverter output is, it surely should be able to power minus the inverter overhead.. The fact that you are pumping 120 watts into it is no real help as it is a tremendous net loss, so what's the point, pass through charging..?? In addition, even your 400 watts is no help under that load.. What might be worthwhile is to post how long it takes to recover with your 400 watts of solar at their optimum output with no load on the battery.. Anybody who says that this is a great review, doesn't know his tush from a toilet seat.. Russ, you'll need to watch Hobotech a few more times.. LOL..!!

for the average camper this looks like ample service. thanks for an excellent review

Last power outage..grandsons couldn't understand where story bot songs went. Hope to ready the home front with easy to use & safe item...
now that Jackery is a dream come true!
"Pure sign" is essential for safe operation of your electronics.
Russ, did you also have your refrigerator/freezer running during the test? Nice set up! 😊👍👍
Looks like the best system at the best price. Thought it ain't cheap.
Jackery sounds like something your unemployed brother in law gets booked for 5 counts of.
Really good test and review. Good to be able to see what the Jackery will do. 😊👍

Thanks always enjoy your videos.
Thank You for sharing.
That a whopper of a unit- Wowzy! Must have one. Have a Jackery 300. I will get me one thanx.
Hey Russ, I use a Jackery 500 in my motor home for my CPAP and it runs it for 3 days, no problem. I could go longer.
now that's cool
Man! That is sweet!
Would this be the best alternative to the expensive stuff that Goal Zero has?
what fridge do you have in there..
thought you might put it in the loop as well ?
Any plans to finish interior

Great review, thanks
Curious if you had a 12v fridge how much power might be continuously used?
That looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. ?????How do you think it would do with a heater????? Just wondering.

Lap of luxury.

The Jackery 1500 is really a nice backup to have. How does that compare to the Renogy 3000?
What is it’s weight? Could not find on web site.
It weighs more than a bad marriage.
Cool!😻😻😻😻
Very cool!!
How did you get the adapter for 2 100 watt panels to connect 4 100 watts of solar panels online jackery I can't find it
👍👍 Nice
That electric skillet would be good to fry chicken or fish in make a good stir fry to
Nice
👍👍😊
the jackery 1500 comes with 2 solar pannels
How much does it weigh?
Enough to grow some biceps.
nifty power supply
I wouldn't put electric system near my bed, sketchy.
Ridiculously priced
$ 2,699.00 before discount and only 400 watt panels , overpriced by a mile
Fancy and expensive battery!
How much extra for the propriety solar?
