Here my honest review, and thats why i love your pod-cast and recommend too all that are interested in out doors. You cover all from diy on vehicles too camping kit, too great chat. Its hard too start a channel and make it grow, and hold down a full time job. Mate your doing a brilliant job and dont ever change your style as your a joy too watch and support.
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it and it was of use. I just wish the vids were getting shared in relevant FB groups to try and get the numbers to where they used to be.
Awesome video. I love your channel and it's content. I've been toying around with the idea of getting a Jackery for awhile now. Cheers 🍻 from East Coast Canada 🇨🇦. Take care and stay frosty.
Thanks for this review! I’ve been seeking for a good reliable bit of kit like this for a while and these keep popping up, all in all sounds and looks like it performs great cheers man. X
Cracking video and review rich, showing how it works and preformed over a weekend in real time really shows the product for what it is . Save up time I think . Thanks
I’ve just bought the Jackery 500 a few days ago as I’m off to do the NC500, Sod’s law you post a video on it and have a discount code on it after I buy one 🙈🤣 but I will be running less things so nice to know it will be good enough for what I need, thanks 🙏
i was thinking of one of these , partially because i won't have the expense of a decent 12v set-up in my freelander , but mainly because if i take my classic car to a weekend show i can throw it in the boot along with tent etc or if i take the daily to the beach for an afternoon i can run the coolbox etc
What a great gadget !! I'm very surprised with the final result !! I would have said, no way !! What a great video my friend !! Taking notes!! LOL Cheers
Portable solar panels give you option of parking in the shade with your panel in the sun. Not something we need to do often in the UK but its an option. I didn’t think of that, it was in one of Ronny Dahl’s videos. Australia has a whole set of problems the UK doesn’t and its interesting to see how the tackle them.
for charing a laptop you might be able to skip the inverter. laptops run on dc so the inverter is converting DC to AC then your laptop adapter is converting AC to DC so there is a big inefficiency there. you need a dc to dc power lead for the laptop. same for the power tool batteries. but im not sure if these would be readily available
Love the side window. What a great view, out to about 45-50 yards 😉 I’m super impressed with the Jackery! Love the idea that it could be used to power a fridge or router in a power cut. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the comparison with the lower cost items. Thanks Rich
Those outlets would be perfect for powering LV LEDs BUT... where can you buy the plugs? Only place I've found is in the US and they don't post to the UK
@@sstoneman5020 I got a little power bank here in Dubai and it came with three strings of 3 lights. Wife and myself use them when we go night camping in the desert. Knock out a decent amount of light. Might be worth asking the suppliers to source them. Because that's definitely what those two plugs are for.
@@Bugoutvehiclesuk I've just sent an email to Jackery customer service about those sockets. We shall see what sort of reply they come back with. I live in hope.
@@Bugoutvehiclesuk I've just had a reply from Jackery UK. Twas a simple one liner... We don't know where you can buy those plugs in the UK. Guess those sockets are redundant to European Jackery customers.
Cracking review and use case demo. I have been considering these for a while. Also looking at the EcoFlow River units as one they have can take an addon battery to go from 288Wh to 576Wh. I
@@malcolmrowe5031 It looks a good option. With a choice to go large with the max version or add the additional battery later al beit for about £28 more over getting the max straight off the bat.
S a great bit of kit, Cheers Rich. Definitely thinking of investing in one for the truck camping after this video. Seen lots of reviews but so good to see what it can and will run in the real world 👍
Nice kit. Wonder how well this would do for the guy who is not only using it for running his electrical for the usual stuff but also charging small Drones. I got a drone I haven't had a chance to fly yet but would be interesting to see how the unit would do charging one up after a days flying.
Initially I thought another bloody Jackery review but on watching I must admit that this one is the BEST by far. I'm not a fan of watching reviews to the point that it seemed that's all some people were doing and I stopped watching them.
Morning Rich, a great video and very informative. I’m looking at this option with the solar panel rather than a fixed split charge system, it would need to power a similar size fridge and possibly a CDH. I’m unsure of the model yet, would the Jackery 240 cope and is this included in the discount code offer? Thanks Perry

I've owned the 500 since April and highly recommend to anyone . My sister was so impressed she purchased the 1000.
Great real world video . 👍
Nice one Aaron
Awesome video, in the middle of a build and definitely helped me to make up my mind. Thanks!

I used the cheap one this weekend and the Jackery smashed it.
The two outlets beside the 12 volt outlet are for plugging in strings of LV LED lights.

I suppose it would depend on the size of the drone battery. I’m guessing it’s similar to the drill battery
Fantastic video awesome review well done bud .stay safe all .👍🇬🇧🤘🍺
Thanks Garry
Is the solar panel still not waterproof or have they upgraded it?
How many full charge cycles are these rated to do? Assume they have some sort of lifespan

I don’t have a 240 so have no idea. Iv just shown the test I did so I’m not going to guess on other models.
Was it a freebie or did you buy it ?
Good video
Thanks
it looks like you been doing some pest control with window open and jacket there so you dont damage gun lol i know this situation so well pmsl
Lol RUclips doesn’t like that tho.
Cool :)
Does anybody know how much it would charge in a Nuclear Winter ;)
Does the job mucker, cracking kit. Like the colours also. Love these gadget reviews with proper kit, not Chinese shite they are trying to shovel.
I got sent a Chinese one too. It’s ok but not in the same league.
