- I have been waiting for the first set of Sonic Frontiers DLC cause it's been a little bit since the game has been out. While at this point we don't have any official Sonic Frontiers DLC, we do have the first unofficial Shadow The Hedgehog DLC mod that honestly looks and plays as if it was already in the game prior

I was so worried he was gonna miss the parry cutscene. Also props to the modder for editing Shadow in the cutscenes as well! Loved this game despite it's flaws.

The fact they have him use a sword as the finisher, plus the song... this fight would go hard with Silver.
He's basically the hedgehog version of trunks.
Not even basically. He straight up IS the Trunks of Sonic the Hedgehog. His whole backstory and plot was just the Android/Cell Saga.

He did go back in time to change his future though (at least until the multiverse reveal later on in the arc). He also has a mentor figure who dies kinda like Silver's mentor figure who "dies" and causes a fuck ton of continuity issues. And the main villain is trying to merge with another being to obtain his Perfect form, making use of the time traveling protagonist to do so, be it Cell killing a version of Trunks to steal his time machine and travel to the past, or Mephiles manipulating Silver to kill Sonic and make Elise cry when there were SEVERAL easier alternative routes he and his OP tolkit could've used (go back in time to the Solaris Project and fuse there, kill/torture Elise at any point in time after that, don't bother with Silver at all and just let fighting Eggman build her relationship with Sonic before killing him, etc.) instead of the long and tedious one that almost got him sealed up again like a dumbass and built up the band of heroes that eventually stopped him.
I got to say that Find Your Flame is easily my favorite boss theme frontiers, and the ending where Sonic/Shadow slices Knight Goemon style was just beautiful 🤩

I was surprised how each titan fight felt very different. I enjoyed knight, i think my favorite would be wyvern or giganto.
With wyvern we went around the ENTIRE island fighting. It felt like a spectale.
With giganto it felt like a no holds barred fist fight. Free from gimicks, just unadulterated hands.
Also, i like how it feels like sonic is recieving his get back from Giganto tossing him like a soft ball.

@@BingoHighway Pretty sure plenty of casual fans enjoyed the story of the game too. You don’t really need to be deep into the lore to get into it.

@@yagirlmayalazarus6713 I think the best part of the story is the bonds between Sonic and his friends and seeing Eggman grow a soft spot for one of his creations. The characters are what made the story so great for me, not so much what actually happened. I feel like for most that would require having some sort of connection to/understanding of the characters already.
If they added shadow I would get this game… his sliding from his shoes is so satisfying I always loved that about him whenever you got to play him in sonic games :)
If you have a PC, modding him into the game is so easy. I never modded before and I was able to do it. Was even able to get voice lines for Shadow
The mod community for this game is literally out of this world, the amount of mods that are already made for this game is insane!

@11:15 here comes the best music in the game. Plus, the fact that Afro is using the Shadow costume, makes the boss fight all the sweeter.
If continuity is a thing now, Shadow definitely would be working for G.U.N. and exploring the Starfall Islands is his mission.

This isn’t official dlc made by the developers, it’s a mod that’s made by fans for the pc version which is why shadow still has sonics voice during certain cutscenes

I’m so glad this game was actually good. No wait it was FRIGIN AMAZING! For someone who hasn’t played or payed much attention to sonic or it’s franchise since 06 which was my first sonic game ever to play, it’s nice to have something to revive the franchise even with its flaws it manages to catch our attention. Also I’m MAD I missed being able to play Unleashed during time of release. 😢 Anyways I “Gotta Go Fast, Gotta Go Fast, Gotta Go Faster faster faster faster faster, faster”.

I've been using the Scourge mod while playing and I love it especially the super form
I swear there's a mod that edits out the sonic changes in cutscenes and even adds some unique shadow dialogue

When you cycloop the knight he gets sent into the air and gets stabbed by a bunch of swords and if you cycloop him again in the air it'll summon a huge sword to slam him into the ground

Imagine if this game has actual next gen graphics. With high quality textures, post-processing, simulation, animation and everything. They need to have a different team working on it, because it seems like just designing the levels took a lot of resources.
