What a great jighead and lure idea. That long ribbon tail and just everything in general is awesome. Great job, well done and thanks for the great video.
obscure, eh? how about a cyttomimus that he can try out his color changing paints on? (it's hard to find pics but just trust me they're very color-shifty haha)
Been watching since just after the “silent video days”. I just stumbled across a crazy story from years back.. unless there’s a coincidence, hats off to you, man. Well done.
Telescope fish looks like a Dr Suess villain. For some reason I thought you were going to make the mold out of aluminum. Good stuff as always. I admire your craftmanship.
I always love when you do a deep sea fish! I study larval fish and we sometimes see dragonfish (Idiacanthus) larvae, which look absolutely absurd. You should check out some photos of those and make a soft plastic imitation 😂
We've been hemming and hawing about PPE on this channel for years and when he finally gets hit in the face with something, it's soft clay that can NEVER harden. I swear... You lucky son of...
BIN shellac primer needs to be stirred every time. You need denatured alcohol to clean up. It's great for holding back woodstains from tannic acid in fir and dark hardwood like mahogany. Cleanup quickly because it is a brush killer.
I have asked this every time you've done a soft body pour. PLEASE do a skin coat with lots of hyper color shift, and then fill the core with black. Please please please!
I imagined the telescope fish at 4:22 having the same voice as your kid, saying “Well, I’m so hungry….” So cute. 🥹 This looks awesome. As a fellow angler who’s also an artist, I love watching how much your niche art skills improve over time the more you experiment while making weird lures.
Aluminium is king for lead molds, they will heat and stretch and you'll pinch more as you go. Also the lead cryatalizes more than in an aluminium mold.
This WILL catch fish. That action was nice. Just wait. Been a hard couple months of fishing here in kansas where last year I was catching biguns in early December
If you wanna feel dead inside, you shoudl frenchpolish a master/barewoodbait with that shellack, prefebly some kind of flat fish. Had to do it in school, to do it outside of school is just selfharm on another level. But it sure get shiny. xD
That tail makes for a perfect twister tail on a jighead soft bait. Distensible means “can be distended”… and we all seen a largie with a distended belly! 😂😅
Not too bad for your first try on the Jig Heads👍 (clamp that mold though, your hands are your money makers) Try some MOLD Max 60 next time, it holds up better.
8:43 I know you probably won’t respond but the way you said “like that” reminded me of Bobby Duke arts. Do you, by chance, also enjoy the master craftsmanship of senior Bobby?
next you gotta make a barreleye fish. their eyes point straight up, so the top of their heads are totally transparent for the eyes to look through. youd probably have to fill the head part with epoxy or something though for the right look itd be a pain
I didn't catch if that jighead silicone is specifically designed for metal casting or not, but you should be able to get silicone that's specifically designed for high temp pours.
I love it when you make something this weird. It always amazes me how fish will bite anything, even if it’s totally foreign to them. I bet this thing will slaughter them in spring.
If it's a deep deep fish then the tail being so soft is perfect , up here where the pressure isn't so high it would look like snot with eyes probably 😂
What kind of shape was your jig head mold after pouring all of those lead heads? I ask because I resin 3D print my molds for making my own hook/sinker/jig heads. The high heat-resistant resin for this kind of print is crazy expensive and my 3D printed mold do burn out if I do a long casting session. I've seen the type of silicone you're working with, and I've thought about trying some. I've just never seen or heard of anyone who has hands on experience with it. The price of that high heat-resistant resin is way less than the high heat-resistant silicone as far as I can tell. I just need to know if it will hold up.
20:24 spilled my coffee... Bob Saget!
Attempt #59 of asking for a Payara (vampire fish) lure!
btw this one must be cool indeed
Free Idea: Create a scuba channel and pick of all of MB's lost masterpieces
I already live in the same area I just can't figure out his exact fishing spots or I'd be diving by now
Im sure someone recoverd one of MB lures and wanted to give it back but he was told to keep it.
What a great jighead and lure idea. That long ribbon tail and just everything in general is awesome. Great job, well done and thanks for the great video.
absolutely need some more obscure ocean species! Love seeing what you come up with!
obscure, eh? how about a cyttomimus that he can try out his color changing paints on? (it's hard to find pics but just trust me they're very color-shifty haha)
Shhhesh! A few live shows and all the sudden you’re David Attenburo.
You are the best RUclipsr ever.
Gonna have to say you nailed it!!! Looks perfection!!!
You should dip a wood lure in clear rubber bait material, make a cool texture
Time for epic bait to make this and make some jig molds.
Make lures of Finn and Ros' favorite cartoon characters and then take the family with when you make them o-fish-al.
You inspired me to try to make a large glide bait
Great video! Awesome silicone molds. Thank you sir!
Nate gives me so many ideas to try over these chili months down south. he also reminds me that I’ve neglected the majority of them. goals & such as.
A man wh is willing to risk it n try new things after a good amount of forethought......IS Dangerous! I love it! Keep up the boundry pushing!
Been watching since just after the “silent video days”. I just stumbled across a crazy story from years back.. unless there’s a coincidence, hats off to you, man. Well done.
Wow that tail action even at super slow mo was fantastic!! Epic bait mold? Dip-n-glo that tail!! ... Entertaining as per usual. Great video.
Great work with the clay in the mold. Attention to detail A ++
That looks like a great hook for ice fishing in Saskatchewan Canada 🍁
I am hearing some Caleb Hammer in the background! Fellow fan!
You sir are an awesome teacher, an absolute natural!!!!!!!
Caught the live when this idea got dropped, glad I got to see it brought to life! Love the vids!
Another beautiful creation😊
This bait will rule them all come spring time. Bet

That tail reminds me of a soft plastic I used to use a lot growing up called the Manns Manipulators.
A barreleye fish would also be pretty neat, could do a clear resin head or something
I have asked this every time you've done a soft body pour. PLEASE do a skin coat with lots of hyper color shift, and then fill the core with black. Please please please!

Dude I’m loving the extra marine bio facts love it
I’ve never seen one but I have a feeling that when I get to the end, this thing is going to look wild
I am HERE for the Marling Baits deep sea era😂
OMG So cute,Love this!

Another awesome video! Such a cool looking lure!
Use Mold-Max 60 from smooth-on for high temp lead jig designs. I make custom ice fishing prototypes.
love your videos! You probably have more fishing lures then fish in my local pond lol.
This WILL catch fish. That action was nice. Just wait. Been a hard couple months of fishing here in kansas where last year I was catching biguns in early December

Well you've done it to yourself, you gotta make an all lead lure now 😂 keep up the great work man 😁👍🏻
3:20 i know some people that look like that 🤔
That dragon fish would be awesome
This video is giving off a mad scientist vibe. 😂😂😂
There are special heat-resistant silicones to use for that. RTV-silicone and such.
That tail makes for a perfect twister tail on a jighead soft bait.
Distensible means “can be distended”… and we all seen a largie with a distended belly! 😂😅
Barrel eye next please. At the same time any video is a good video from you
Another nice build, amazing action. ;) Is it me or this metallic head makes it looks like the son of an odd fish and a creepy Stephen King Cadillac ?
Not too bad for your first try on the Jig Heads👍 (clamp that mold though, your hands are your money makers) Try some MOLD Max 60 next time, it holds up better.
3:40 so relatable
Please make a northern studfish lure
Love the work you do. Suggest you look at the Titan Terror fish from Stingray 🐲
😂😂😂😂😂 "dad I'm hungry whatever kid it's tooth time"
You should think about a Loch Ness Monster topwater where the neck sticks out.
finaly a new video i love your videos 👍🏻👍🏻
8:43 I know you probably won’t respond but the way you said “like that” reminded me of Bobby Duke arts. Do you, by chance, also enjoy the master craftsmanship of senior Bobby?
Love that you complain about big words, then throw out “cavitation“
The fact that you're not missing chunks of your fingers is impressive
Here I am singing along to mamma mia while you test the action. Then crap myself on the jumpscare
Keep up the good content mate 👍
Commenting for the algorithm. And Harley Quinn paw paw wotta frog.
Brazilian batfish
Red hand fish
Look up those two one. Looks like it would be pretty good top water
Never hurd of ghe fish learned me somethink there propper an keep up the smashing videos come afder Xmas ill join ur pattern an course smashing work
Make a vintage SUICK MUSKY THRILLER. No one has made a video of it yet it is a very popular bait.
Next bait should be a memberbaiter. Goes with the dingleberry
Could you do a lantern shark they are very cute, and you could use a glow in the dark paint or soft plastic for the belly
You have to catch a sun fish (Pumpkin seed) with a sunfish (big dumb ocean fish) lure
my favorite lureman
“Dad I’m so hungry”
“Oh you’re hungry” continues making bait....”It’s tooth time!”
This is like the guys who pour metal into termite mounds

"Insufferable nitwit" the most midwest anger ever

My grandson asked me to tell you gulper eel would be a good one to make lol
Every time I am convinced that your channel is one of the best! Thank you for the quality content and interesting videos.🐩🚕🥕
Here ya go
that would definitely crush pike and muskie
That should 100% be a shirt. Just that freaky image and "watch out for the telescope fish, its probably watching you"
I'm thinking maybe a paint shaker might be a good idea
Ya❤❤
Every time I look at the head I see a vintage car with big headlights looking back at me
Do you sell your baits?
4:01 the true tooth paste
Looks like a worm tail, it should work great to catch bass or even walleye
Can you make a lure out of leather or denim and a full size squirrel lure for musky
Can you make a nano lipless crankbait?
OHDid I see a Fenwick rod?? I have a few of the old school Fenwick rods in rotation currently. More details please.
If so, gotta get you into fly fishing. Fenwick fly rods are like 90% amazing.
That mouth looks vaguely like the Xenomorph from Alien. If I was a bass I'd just give it some room and head back to the Nostromo.
What kind of shape was your jig head mold after pouring all of those lead heads?
