    I see that starter code (P06E9) all the time, it's always accompanied by a failed starter. Late model Ford starters are dropping like flies. Great videos, thanks for taking the time to share.

    For a Po171 lean code we are looking at battery voltage, transmission, ??

    Great video, thank you for sharing!
    a little trick I learned the other day with Live Data, if you enter "fuel trim" in the search box, you dont have to search for them in the long list.

      Or even the word "trim" should work

    Hi Brian,
    Could you tell me is possible to flash/update ECU using drewtech cardaq plus3 on Chrysler 200 2016 with a Green C1 connector?
    Is the tooblox3 software is able to flash/update that ECU?

    • @BrianMann216
      @BrianMann216  2 года назад

      You should have no problem doing that. I just updated a 16 200 yesterday with my C3 plus.

    Had a 2008 f250 today multiple issues. Fuse 74 blown goes to maf all o2 sensors intake runner control. Found harness rubbing through on the runner rod. Thought it was fixed looked at fuel rail desired vs actual and actual went down to 25 psi wot

      Wow that's nuts, all the problems with the rubbed wires and still a fuel delivery issue. I bet it just started running bad LOL

    Well done, you mention that fuel trims go to zero when maf sensor was unplugged. Is that because engine go to open loop

    • @BrianMann216
      @BrianMann216  2 года назад +3

      I meant to say they add up to 0. Taking away the computers ability to calculate the air flow takes away that computation for fuel delivery. So readings going to good with maf disconnected means that there is either a vacuum leak or undetected air ..

    What would be your best guess as to the cause of an intermittent P0174 on my 2008 Silverado V6? Most suspects seem to more of a permanent nature. Loose connector on a sensor maybe?

    • @BrianMann216
      @BrianMann216  2 года назад

      I would not expect a loose connection, nothing is impossible thoug.,That would probably set a circuit code for the affected sensor...

    Hi brother, I’ve recently had some issues with my LR3 and don’t know what to do now. I passed this vehicle down to my son for school and work and after a couple years just recently we started smelling fuel and it would hesitate to start. He was about to start college so we took it into a european auto shop for repairs. They stated it was a bad fuel pump and the repairs were done. The smell went away but after a couple weeks when I went to drive it for the first time after said repairs, I noticed it still hesitated to start and now it would also completely stall when it comes to a stop. If I slowly coast to a stop it will stay on. Did not want to take it back in so I replaced some part’s hoping that would fix the issue. I did spark plugs, Coil Pack, MAF sensor, air filter and cleaned the throttle body. This did not help and the issue still continued. It did however have missfires on both banks per the scanner I purchased and it got rid of all that. The only codes left are Lean banks 1&2. I took it back in to the shop where they said it was a bad Camshaft position sensor and after they replaced that they said it was a bad Crank case module. They made bith repairs and they said it was my starter or ignition. I told them not to touch those and I picked my vehicle up crom them. Still I was out the cost for those repairs. I then replaced the PCV valve, EGR valve, throttle body and did a injector cleaning treatment. None of these have worked. I am out of ideas and would like some help.

      I borrowed a friends newer Silverado and of course the check engine light came on I watched this video and it turned out who ever changed out the filter left one screws from the intake filter box half way and one clamp slightly loose I’m hoping that’s it other than that I disconnected the battery light disappeared praying it stays off
