Lovely! Thank you for your very human and comforting instructions for creating a dear gingerbread man. I like you best of all the instructors, Good teachers are a treasure.
Aww thank you Carol :)
You are my most very favorite crochet instructor on youtube. :) You really have a talent for instruction and crochet. You go at just the right speed and are clear, concise and detailed. Your videos never leave me confused about any stitches. Great job from beginning to end of every video. I have made so many of your projects multiple times. Thank you so much!
made my 1st gingerbread man, my kids and my nephews were excited and just watching me make the little gingerbread man. thanks for the video.
Made a bunch of these for my presents. This way they can put them on their tree and think of me every year.Thank you...your a great teacher!
Absolutely love this, I made my gingerbread men a little bit bigger so I can sew them on a Christmas tree skirt I crochet. Love your work.
Couldn't have completed the little guy without your expertly given instructions. It took me a bit longer as I had to "rewind" several times. I am a slow grandma :o)! Thank you, Laura!
I love this project, thank you so much. I made one last year for my BFF. I actually stitched two and stitched them together. I stitched on the face and glued little eyes on them and used the same little eyes for the buttons. I stitched a little red scarf and put on a loop to hang the gingerbread man on a christmas tree. I also added a little stuffing, not too much, but enough to give it some dimension. It is the cutest darn thing. I am now making 7 of them for my favorite work friends. I am on number 4. Beautiful pattern, thanks again.
Love your video and excellent tutorial as always. This came out so cute‼️ I must say though since I am a neat freak I made two and sewed them together to hide all the yarn bits from the eyes, buttons and frosting. It came out great and now looks even more like a cookie because it is thicker. Thank you so much for all of your great videos.
These are so cute! To have a stiffer ornament, I made a back n front then crocheted them together with white yarn. Then I used puffy paint for the face and trim. I love them! Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄🤶
Hi, What is puffy paint please? Xx
I love how you use the slip stitch to travel. I also love that you sl st from the top shoulder to the arm pit of the gingerbread man and it filled the gap. Made me smile😊 thanks
SO cute.... I will tie them to Christmas presents
Love this. Have a group of girls who meet once a month for dinner. In December we bring goody bags for each other. Guess what they are getting in their goody bags this year.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I only started crocheting this season and found your step-by-step instructions very easy to follow. For a somewhat overwhelming project at first glance, you made it so accessible to new crocheters like me. I loved how you explained why you did certain techniques and steps - I not only have a finished project but have learnt tips and tricks for future projects too. Thank you!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback! :)

Thank you for your professionalism. Your video quality is excellent👍🏻
Thinking about putting them in a window and wanting them to look good on both sides- You could glue it to a piece of felt decorated as a gingerbread man OR leave felt plain OR make 2 and slip stitch them together.
I love your crochet💓 simple but very cute!!
I, likethis I'm going to make these for gift's Thank you for sharing, wish us.
I love your video and made many thinks.Thanks.
Hi, this is my first ever time I'm making anything with crochet. I'm left handed which is making it very difficult to see which way around it is when switching up and down the arms and legs. The only thing that would really help is if you could hold up where you at each end as you go down each side. Just so I could see which position I need to turn it to. Video is really informative and easy enough to follow and thank you for a great tutorial 👍
Ashleigh Lee I’m left handed too.
nice video, very helpful. Made this little guy in to an ornament for an ornament exchange, thank you :)

loved your little gingerbread man so, so cute and your instructions were perfect. Do you have directions to make candy cane holder. I found one but she is very confusing. She knows were to go but she doesn't tell you, she just does. LOL
I am thirteen and I LOVE to crochet! Do you think you could do a video on making a horse? THANKS!!!!!!!!
Also I was not really taught how to crochet, it just came naturally, and I have been watching your videos for a while now and they are SO helpful!!!! Keep making these AMAZING videos!!!!!
I use very small bottle of black paint to make eyes, mouth & buttons
Molto bell
Hi! I know this was a while ago but I was hoping you might remember what brand of brown you used and also the sparkly red, I've been having such a hard time finding these colours! Amazing tutorial as always ❤️
He's really cute.. I used Alpaca, he came out smaller which was fine. I did get a bit confused on the second leg in the middle with the turning, but managed to wing it. Is there a written pattern?
Hi Laura- I am unable to find the pattern for this Gingerbread Man. Do you have it posted somewhere. I do not see it on any of the websites listed above. Thanks
My kids love this! Great video. Questions, any suggestions on making the gingerbread man head into snowman body parts? I'm assuming just double the head then triple it again for the mid section and bottom pieces, but I wanted to see if you had any suggestions. Merry Christmas Laura!
+Raven Claw1280 I'd have to design one really before I could think off the top of my head! If you just made two circles they would over-lap so you would need to adjust the design really as a whole.
Thanks much :-)
after a long day sat down to look up how to crochet a gingerbread man, thank you I really enjoyed your demonstration, can I use any wall. i.e. 4ply and how would I create a down side thanks jacqui
jacqui berry -You can use any yarn, aslong as you use the required hook size for your chosen yarn. It will say which size on the yarn label. So if you choose a finer yarn, your gingerbread man will be smaller, but if you then choose a chunky yarn, it will end up being larger.
(: Thank you!!!!! .... 😚
5th :)
how do I get printed copy
Where can I find a written pattern for this?
In the description but you probably already found it bc its bean 8 years 🙃
