Many thanks for your clear tutorial, my husband was throwing away a small plastic ring and I had just seen your tutorial so now have a sweet mini wreath.
My grandmother knitted little ornaments like this for us. She'd decorate our presents with ornament and we'd have something to put on our tree when we got home from visiting them. Nice memory from her.
I'm going to make these to put on the front of my hand made Christmas cards so people will have a little present to hang on their tree as a keep sake. I'm also making them in pairs & adding anti allergy earring hooks to wear at Christmas 😁
@@thenameisjun4539 she sews them on at the end (right at the end of the vid, sped up) - just a needle and thread, then tied off at the back and thread trimmed :)
I find the criticism about the beading rude and unnecessary. Surely you know how to sew beads on .I love this wreath and this video. This lady makes pretty things and her videos are great. Always a shame when people share their time and skills to see negative comments.
Very cute ornament! I’ve been looking for little wreaths like yours. Thank you for showing how to do this! I ordered some 5cm diameter metal rings from Amazon, and will be using cotton worsted weight. (Acrylic yarn attracts cat hair.).
I love love love this and I have all the supplies. I am starting this weekend. Fingers crossed it works out as great as yours! ;) Thank you for the video!
How great to have the supplies! I always say to Mr.Girlybunches, I never know when I'm going to need this... but I NEED it.. LOL!!.. Glad you like it! Thanks for watching :)
Years ago I made a similar ornament with 1-1/2" bone rings, I believe. Maybe they were 1". As I said, years and years ago, and I've lost the pattern I used. This tutorial is very similar, though, and thanks for posting it!
thanks for fixing the video. i went to follow along and was like "whoa, how did she do the scallops". ive only been crocheting for about 2 to 3 years and have only started branching off into things like this. i dont even have to buy the rings. our water bottles have a little ring around the neck that will work great.
🤠New here(2024) & appreciate this pretty pattern that I believe a beginner can do🎄Checking your channel for more ornaments to make for ❤9 grandchildren this year
+t williams Thank you so much, sorry for late reply.. been mega busy over Christmas... but Happy New Year to you, and it's a pleasure to make videos for such lovely people like you :)
Thank you so much - this actually helped me with a large styrofoam wreath that I crocheted with red, white, and blue gradient colors for my front door.
Hello! Thanks for sharing this awesome tutorial! I love these adorable Christmas ornaments but have a question. What type of beads did you add to yours? 4mm? 6mm? Anything you can tell me would be most appreciated! Thanks again for a great idea and tutorial!
Hi, I know it is some time since you did this video, but can you recall the name of the wool and shade (love this colour has it is so Christmassy) you used? Really love this video. Has I am new to crocheting I would love to give this a go.
LOVE THIS PROJECT!!! I would love written instructions for this tutorial!! Or a link for where to find it. Could not find either. That would be great for printing and saving. Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated!!
+333DFG Hi I just used plastic shower curtain rings, max approx size 4cm wide. The loop part came of easily with some kitchen scissors, probably best not to use your best fabric scissors. Thanks for watching :)
Hi Sonia, ohh .. I really don't know now. My mini wreaths are in storage now waiting to come out for Christmas. I would say they are large for seed beads. I guess between 2mm-3mm. I hope that helps Sonia. :)
I put earing hooks and now I have cute crochet Christmas earings. So cute!

I’ve made pins from wreaths like yours! They’re so cute.

Really cute! I have made a few now for friends. Thank you.
Thank you for your pattern! Been looking for simple but lovely Christmas ornament patterns!
I use the rings from around the top of gallon milk containers and some juice bottles.. They measure about 1-1/2" diameter..They work perfectly!
GREAT!! Love that idea! Thanks for watching! :)
Awesome idea, Karen! I wonder if the plastic rings that six packs of soda come in, would work as well, or if they would be too flat?
I found some rings on Amazon but I was really curious as to the 'correct' size
What a lovely idea, thank you for sharing 😊
Great idea! Thanks! Now I can do these without running out to the store to get the plastic O-rings. I always have milk and juice containers.
Thank you so much! I make ornaments for my nieces and nephews. I used 1.5 inch key rings.
Thanks for that tip
I had used plastic bone rings to make little wreath pins, but they only go up to 1.5 inches diameter. I never thought of using shower curtain rings!
Super cute and easy even for a beginner like me. Thank you x
I used the ring off of my iced tea bottle turned out really good too. thanks for sharing this
Perfect!! Love to re-use things we have already! Thanks for watching :)
Would have been nice to mention the gold beads and how you attached them-they kind of make the wreath special .
I’m wanting to know this as well.
Right?? I went through the video and comments and they were never mentioned!

Thanks for your tutorial. Those curtain rings come in different sizes, so which size did you use and what did you use to brake off the bit at the top?
+333DFG Hi I just used plastic shower curtain rings, max approx size 4cm wide. The loop part came of easily with some kitchen scissors, probably best not to use your best fabric scissors. Thanks for watching :)

Can I use the curtain ring from Ikea?
aleksandra83mercury
Hi. I think that a curtain ring would work well. Some other commenters mentioned success with using shower curtain rings.
what are the measurements of the ring you use? thankyou
I also use the rings from water bottles, I'm looking for anyone that can make ornaments from bottle covers.
so where do you get the rings? can't find them anywhere
Hi Brian, I got mine in a local hardware store, but lots of comments of people saying they use bottle tops. Try looking for shower curtain rings.
Amazon!
Plastic rings by Dritz
Where did you get the rings from?
+Marsha Dishman just from eBay, they are shower curtain rings. :)
I found them at Michael's in the sewing section. They are used for something to do with Drapes. :) I'm sure JoAnn Fabrics would sell them to! ;)
como coloca as pérolas? Colou ou costurou?
The Christmas Wreath is adorable. How did you place the gold beads on it? May I ask what size they are? Please.
