Hopefully you enjoyed the crochet pattern surprise behind door number 2 yesterday on our homepage advent calendar, but if you prefer videos to written patterns you can also watch how to make my little crochet bells here: ruclips.net/video/ndB_NJgEUe4/видео.html
Question: Is there a way to make your stitches bigger ? I'm having a little hard time trying to see even when I'm enlarge the video. I do have reading glasses I use . You make wonderful things and love your directions they are so clear to understand. Thanks
Really cute. Love them. Trying to make them now. Question: when you are saying 18 stitches for 5 rounds, do those 18 stitches include that " chain one" stitche? I always end up having 19 stitches if I count that " chain one" stitch. Does it sound right?
zhangtongle If using a chain one yes you count the chain 1 as a stitch (unless otherwise stated) You don't count the slip stitch into the ch1 at the end though. I hope that helps!
I am not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just greatly confused because each time I tried round 3 and 9, the last stitch always was 1 single crochet and not 2 single crochet as 18 and 27 are multiples of 3 and end in a single crochet. Can anyone please explain how I can end in 2 single crochets on those rounds. Thank you
Sophiya Joseph All I can suggest is to make sure you are starting your round in the correct stitch and that you are not slip stitching into the first stitch when finishing the previous round and that you are slip stitching into the chain, as this will mess up your stitch count.
is it really hard to explain the magic circle each time you use it. ugh. pretty bell but no patience to watch a bunch of how to videos before getting on a project.
If you are confused with the magic circle (sorry not quite sure what your comment meant) but you can always choose the chain 4 method instead, and work the same stitches into that loop if that is easier :)
I figured it out! Aha! So now I made my first two bells and one ended up a little lopsided but still cute and functions like a ringing bell. I bought tiny craft bell ringers. :'3 THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO. Even though it was hard to follow at first.
