I remember that you were helping me with the Asus A53U laptop. It works perfectly fine now, but I don't have a spare hard drive for the laptop, and it is very slow on Chrome Os Flex.
Hi there! Great to see your still watching the channel. 👍 Unfortunatly due to crappy winter illnesses and school work, the restoration has been delayed. The next video should be out this weekend however as it was filmed on the 1st Jan but has not yet been edited.
@CaptainJRW I think it is. But it speeds up after time. I don't have another hard drive that's the problem. I want to install Windows 7 back on it, and the HDD that was in it, has failed.
I had it listed on eBay for a few months, 20quid free shipping, but no one wanted it. So rather than leaving to to sit idly not being used, I thought I'd make an intresting video out of it. But don't worry, stay tuned for the following few videos where I restore the laptop and see if I can get it to boot again. 👍
@@NatK2010 Might be a bit late to buy it now as it's already served its time underground, if you have a look on eBay there are loads os laptops like this for sale for dirt cheap

Have you checked that the A53u is supported with chrome os flex? Maybe try Linux Mint and see if that speeds things up?

@@NatK2010 If you have a look an amazon, 256gb Silicon Power SSDs are only about £12, one of those will greatly improve the performance. 👍
