I feel like you're not really telling the whole story. Matt Ryan never had a running game, a good o-line, and not one top-ten defense. In the years he had a good defense (not top ten) they made the Super Bowl. The only years where he had a good o-line and running game, he made the playoffs. Every time the Falcons lost in the playoffs they lost to the future Super Bowl champs, teams that made the Super Bowl, and the Super Bowl itself. So they genuinely lost to the better team. Matt Ryan getting traded to the Colts was a mistake by the Atlanta Falcons organization. They pursued Deshaun Watson but never got him so that resulted in him feeling like he was not appreciated enough for what he did for the organization. Julio was also done dirty by Shannon Sharpe.
Thing is....he's not the one that did the choking, it was the rest of the team (Defense and coaching for the SB), so no reason to keep him out of the HOF. His stats are on par with some of the greatest.

Elite at choking maybe…he wasn’t worth 10 years, Js.
@@atlchopperz1765What are you smoking? That man came in the league with one of the best audible comebacks the NFL has ever seen.
As a life long falcons fan the 28-3 wouldn't bother me so much if they just kept trying to put the foot to the throat and stuck with what was obviously working to that point. protecting the lead and going conservative was poor coaching and in hindsight it would have been more respectable to go out on your own sword than to lose like they did.
He’s retiring the only reason he isn’t saying it directly is because he loses like 12 million if he retired vs the colts cutting him
only if his defense didnt choke in the superbowl
Ur an nfl qb….and u can’t score anything in 2 qtrs…. Matt Ryan played scared
@@atlchopperz1765 he scored in the third quarter actually 🤓🤓 and also he was still playing good he got his team into field goal range right before new englands last drive to tie the game but we got sacked and got an offsides call
I'm calling this the MJ rule, lets just start ignoring the last year if you're one of the greats, especially if it was their first year in a new franchise. Just gon be better for everybody
28-3
@@sodalangstson9438that's on the defense, how is that relevant to him in any way?

do Tony Romo that would be a banger
When did BC add ‘golden’ to their team name? Been a fan all my life. Never heard it once. Wiki agrees haha. I mean shit the eagle is literally maroon in color.
This dude's looked 38 since he was 20
I feel like you're not really telling the whole story.
Matt Ryan would almost definitely be a HOF if Devonta Freeman hadn't had the worst missed block in NFL history.
Idc what y’all say. He really wanted to win
If rivers is HOF material then Ryan gets in easily. Ryan clearly more accomplished.
Only a brick wall can stop you. It's name is the Eagles.
I'm hoping the choked leads don't keep him out of the hall
Oh!! It definitely will
@@MrFatboy1987I doubt it will keep him out. He will be one of those that have to wait a while to get there
@@DeosPraetorian he's not getting in. He's been on the wrong side of blown leads
Thing is....he's not the one that did the choking, it was the rest of the team (Defense and coaching for the SB), so no reason to keep him out of the HOF. His stats are on par with some of the greatest.
I’m really sick of hearing these people talk so much crap about Matt Ryan, saying that it was his fault. It’s true that he isn’t as good as he used to be, but the colts still failed him. They promised him a top notch offensive line and running back. They couldn’t even do that. I wish the Colts nothing but failure from now on. As for the Super Bowl, he played amazing in that game. Despite what morons will tell you. it was his defense in Kyle Shanahan‘s ineptitude that cost us the game. Matt Ryan is a Hall of Famer. Period.
He retires as the greatest QB in Falcons history. Au revior Matty Ice.
He didn’t blow anything that’s like saying it’s the QBs fault that the defense let up a td
They neva gave him a defensive
it’s called an NFL career not a rise and fall
That colts loss wasn’t his fault. He did what he could. The defense and bad coaching sold
Also, Matt Ryan was not the coach during the Super Bowl.
2 things inwish were different
1)Falcons beat Patriots in the Super Bow
2) him and my Colts hold on to beat the Vikings
And they should have ran the ball more during that game.
I wish Matt Ryan did better for the Colts
Frank Reich was incompetent look at his game against the jags he was the only QB for the Colts to win games
He did have a good Career tho
Matt bryan will be rember as face of blowing league sadly
I hate 2016. Matt Ryan needs to hang it up.
You forgot to mention that he led the league in turnovers with IND. He had the most pics, fumbles and turnovers overall. He does have a respectable career but, he was awful with the Colts.
For what Matt Ryan was paid, he wasn’t good enough. And his contract and few others kept this team from being balanced out. The Matt Ryan years had to be some of the most mundane years ever. Filled with useless platitudes and consolation prizes from the fan base
As falcons Matt Ryan could have won the falcons Super Bowl first 😢
So why didn’t it happen? He had 10 years?
Other than his leadership, i liked him but he got too prideful and greedy but he broke our curse
Greatest overhyped. Player ever. Was average at best most of his career.
If he had won that superbowl maybe he'd have a chance as HoFer. If people are debating Eli's credentials I don't see much of a shot for Matty Ice.
All this Falcon hate. Buy a Falcon jersey. Lol. Hating on Ridder too. You’re a joke. 😂

Doesn't. Play. Defense.
Just saying kyle Shanahan cost the falcons and 49ers a Superbowl
Unmmm, how are you gonna be a nfl qb and can’t do anything for 2 quarters? I’m sorry but Tom Brady is a football robot. Not evens ravens dream team defense could have stop Brady in that moment. If you are going against the patriots in the superbowl, u can’t play half a game of offense. U can’t be scared to keep ur foot in the gas. Sure u can blame the play calling, but as a true great qb, sometimes you gotta go with ur gut and put things together on your own. Matt Ryan choked in the biggest game of his career just like all the other games he played that mattered
Nah, Matt Ryan did that when he tried to coast on Brady for 2 qtrs. As for 49ers, it’s not y’all’s fault, mahomes is just that dominant. Mahomes has the gift of being able to be lazy all season and then everything always goes right in the end
Matts biggest mistake? He spent to much time at Atlanta. 100% not Matt's fault his team lost the super bowl to Patriots it was defense and a bad play call from Oc at the time Kyle {shityhand) shanahan. He will DEFINITELY make the hof.
it's a big achievement to even get 28-3 against the patriots during that time it's just in the final minutes they spent too much time passing and not running enough clock
@@himshake the oc blew game
@@R_Robinson87 Matt got way better couple years in with his tenure at Atlanta he started working harder and hit the weight harder that made him a threat deeper down the field for sure

Great work, you have graphed the pattern of choking in word😂
😂😂😂😂
Kyle Shanadouche is the ONLY reason they lost that Super Bowl. The guy is his own worst enemy… the biggest over-thinker in the NFL.
When are people gonna wake up to this fact? His stubbornness has blown so many big games.

Your argument is faulty my brother. Eli isn’t winning that game - Nick isn’t winning that game - and it’s because they still have that man Kyle at Head Coach.
