can i just say thank you for doing reviews that aren't just "kit in front of a backdrop while you talk about them for 15-20 minutes" that seem to flood youtube. i don't know how much extra effort setting up the shots and editing them takes, but it's really appreciated. and makes for vastly more interesting videos.

This particular video took about a day to make (ended up recording about 6 gigs of footage before I had what I needed), one evening to make a rough edit, then another to make a more polished version. The editing process has always been far and away my favorite step of production, so I tend to go all out with it whenever possible.
"Articulation is better than the MG" My Full Armor Unicorn ver Ka has almost the same amount of articulation as this guys. But the MG has an ab crunch, A BEAUTIFUL SPREAD, and a thigh swivelele. And that was the second ever MG I've ever built, but unfortunately I broke the v-fin, and it doesn't come with a non-transforming Destroy Mode v-fin, so he's basically stuck in Unicorn Mode right now.

even for 30 bucks, no shipping you can't recommend this or the red one? because i was debating on one of them cause i don't have the money for the RG right now and the full armor looks sick and i want to see when i do have money for the RG unicorn if the weapons from this kit would work on it lol
+Heroduothecomedian honestly? No. Just keep saving up until you can afford the RG. As for the FA weapons fitting on the RG, that definitely won't work. The RG is a lot bigger than this is.
well if the case with the RG then i think i'll pass on the unicorn all together until the full armor RG comes out because i not a big fan of the real grade kits because something always ends up breaking on me or a part goes missing while i build them I.E. the movable hands, granted there adding fixed hands into RG now it still something that bugged me since i have big friggin hands.i honestly don't think i'll buy anymore RG then what i have now except if they bring out a full armor which im sure they will and the rest of the RG EW kits if they don't make the p-bandai only kits as well or cancel them ~.~

what is fascinating is that you can fit this HG's backpack to the RG unicorn. Gives us the suggestion of a Full Armor unicorn coming to us sometime soon.

having just finished building it, this is a good/fair review. i don't really pose my kits after the first pose, and i paint them, so joints tent to be tighter....i found some of the "out of box" flaws to not bother me. if you tend to be like me, where the build/paint/scribing process is the main fun, this kit might be worth the price. you also get a lot of extras you can use for kit bashing.
Althought I might be a little late, the HG is pretty good if you do a simple leg modification to make the leg do a really good bend. But the back skirts are horrible

Red has a lot more value for money, because it comes with the beal javelin and some RG-style marking stickers. Green is inferior, unless you prefer that psycoframe color.
Funny...I had a horrible experience with my HG unicorn. It always fell apart, held it's weapons horribly, and also the articulation is mediocre at best. The beam magnum destroyed every trigger finger hand, because on the silver bullet suppressor it also destroyed the hand, I have the same opinion as mecha gaikotsu "avoid it like the plague."
This is just plain rants. This is the time when trying to be relevant is being obvious and proof of the lack of having a decent content on this channel.

I got this at a discount price so I wasn't all that disappointed. It's a brick kit for sure.
i guess we need an HGUC Revive Unicorn to celebrate an anniversary or something, & for those who can't afford the RG versions.

The legs on mine fell apart so I used E6000 glue on them lol
