Not sure but I think this is my Smith & Wesson I sent to Scott to have a level 2 extreme done and what a big difference from stock to a level 2 it shoots so nice the trigger pull is excellent well worth it. Scott kept me updated on the progress, I highly recommend Scott and his gunsmith skills.
wolf springs has extended strain scews, pluss springs
Ron Power has done a number of my guns & I was able to help him do a full tune up on my Like NIB S&W 624 4" from 1987 ??
thanks
Just bought that 686 + haven't picked it up yet, 30 days... but sweet to see what you can do with her. Thanks!! Alex
very good bro, thank you!
I think this is the finest S&W action work on RUclips. Do you need to make sure cylinder lines up with barrel using range rod since the hand was replaced? Or is that not necessary as long as stock cylinder ratchet is in place and unaltered? Keep the videos coming.
👍👍
question for you Scott. my 454 Raging Hunter has creep in the single action pull. it feels somewhat heavy too. after looking at my full cocking notch, it looks really LONG, especially compared to a performance center smith. do you think that a long cocking notch is the issue? or is it more likely an incorrect angle on the single action sear? or something else i didnt think of?
Who's hammer and triggers are u using? And where can I get that rebound tool for my brownells driver like u got there? Thnx man.
Is there any reason you wouldn't use a ball type cuter for the crane lock?
I wish Power Custom and APex Tactical would ship international. :(
Aaron - you can get their parts through Brownells or Midway USA, as far as repairs Ron is retired.
I have a new 642 Performance Center that has a trigger that varies substantially in how much pressure it takes to get it to fire. It may be the same stroke 10 times and then on the next the trigger almost "hangs up"and takes twice the pressure. Thoughts?
I think you should send it to me for a trigger job. vdc.firearms@gmail.com
Thanks.,.
