I mean he's won RG 14 times, no one's gonna beat that. He has a lot to be proud of.

This is a record we might never again see in our lifetime, and if any time in the future someone can break it, it will take decades and tennis would be different and another "epoch" just like Rod Laver and others are for us, today's players will be for future generations.

Rafa isn't coming back to RG. He's said it many times about his retirement. He just wanted to avoid any live tribute on the court because he's very shy and humble, so he said "maybe" and the tribute didn't come out.
Perhaps even because he knows he might cry and one can clearly see he tries hard to keep himself together on special moments.
He wasn't able to handle it when Roger retired. Both crying together. Imagine his own goodbye 😂

Sport in general will never be able to thank all those values that Rafa conveys, for example to young people, so important nowadays. He's one of the best athletes in history, not only for his sporting successes but also for how he has gotten them and his exemplary behavior inside and outside the court. Just look how from all over the world admire him. And me, as so many people, who have been watching for more than 20 years almost all his matches, I join the gratitude. I will continue there until he wants. All my respects, good luck 👏👏

Rafa, just "Thank you for coming". It is normal that they are there because they are polite. And they are. I mean Alcaraz and Nolet. I wish you all the best.

Honestly he played well enough to have beaten half the field. His ranking and the draw had a lot to do with this loss. Was he going to win a 15th? No but in this match he had like 11 break chances and only got 2 of them. That's rust. Lack of match play.

Federer should come back then, more motivation for him to return on tour, on hard court and grass he's still the best.

Federer said himself that he's no longer happy playing on the professional tour. You don't make his decisions.

Are you delusional? Federer and it appears Rafa as well kept going until their bodies weren’t allowing them to compete any longer. When Roger retired, he wasn’t able to compete with the best at all anymore and it appears, Rafa is at that point too now.

Next year he'll be 39, I think his RG wins have come to an end, Novak has a chance to get 25 now, unless he's stopped by Alcaraz.
