Love that Cocobolo X7. I had built that exact guitar in the builder a few months back ... right down to the red rose on the fretboard and amber back. Yes, the X7 is the gateway drug, at least in my case :) It took a little convincing from Kevin regarding my first purchase, first guitar I ever bought without playing it first. The rest is history, 7 guitars later, and I'm sure, much to the dismay of my fiancé, more on the horizon. The story behind the American Flag Chimaera makes it much more than a guitar, and truly embodies what makes Emerald is all about.

Great news that you’ll be at the Solihull guitar show and I’ve just booked my tickets for Sat 2nd. I’ve been struggling to decide between an X20 and X30 and that will be a fantastic opportunity to try before I hopefully buy. Looking forward to meeting you Alistair after having watched so many of your videos.
It is great to see a Solace in today's shipping video. Anyone who plays a weissenborn style guitar should have one. Believe me you will love its tone .
Emerald, please buy the rights and presses for Rainsong for the low low price of something slightly more than nothing that the retired owner would take. Set up manufacture in Australia or Brasil, where domestic production cost is low but import cost is 2-3x average retail. You guys would own two enormous and enormously loyal markets, have a second brand for development and risk mitigation, and keep stewardship of a great family of guitars that fits in with the quality/performance/innovation of the excellent Emerald name. Do it Do it.
