Hello Emerald, every week I watch the Shipping Video, it shows your lineup beautifully and the various configurations of the guitars. I don’t do Facebook, your RUclips videos and emails are the way I keep in touch with your company. I’ve got 3 Emeralds in my collection thus far, I hope there may be more in the future.
Not on FB much - love the shipping videos- also the youtube video with people reviewing their emerald
The shipping videos are definitely the best place to compare a selection of the different guitar types of guitar, especially enjoy those where one of the lads gives a little demo of the sounds it can produce. The 3d builder is fantastic but completely addictive. If I’d spent as long practicing scales as I do building a guitar on it, I’d be some player. 😂
Glad you like them! We'll be featuring more demos and tech vids in our content every week going forward so stay tuned. If we all spent as much time practicing as we did thinking about new guitars it would help but we need something nice to play on too 😂

I look forward to your RUclips shipping video every week. I occasionally share it on Facebook because I believe in your product. I have also shared your 3D builder link. I have a few friends who play guitar, but rarely get any feedback from them regarding those shares. Perhaps it’s because they play traditional wooden instruments. I did have a cousin, brother-in-law and a friend over with their guitars and they checked out and played my X10. They really seemed impressed with the build quality, playability and sound from my Emerald. But I’m sure price would be a deterrent for them from buying one, as well as the materials being totally foreign to them.
I think your Ambassador Program is a great way to get the word out. I had to think long and hard before shelling out such a big chunk of change on a guitar a couldn’t experience before buying. I have to say, I’ve never regretted my purchase. I do see your RUclips shorts and your latest videos related to your upcoming 10K build, highlighting some of your past special custom builds. All good stuff. So, I have no real concrete suggestions on how to market your products. From the outside looking in, it seems to me that you’re doing everything right. I’m sure you’ll come up with a plan that you’ll be more comfortable with. Live long and prosper!

I watch most of the Emerald content through Facebook, email, and in the Emerald site video section. I think I have watched every Emerald video ever made, that includes some of the archived material that was generated prior to my knowledge of Emeralds existence.
Great group of guitars this week. I'm a bit jealous though, Ainsworth got to see his guitars in the "Shipping Video" twice. :) They are gorgeous and worth the wait. I love the "Black Gold" with large Black Quilted Maple - quilts. There is currently an X7 in stock that would be in my basket if I didn't already own two of them.

Whilst I’m saving up for an X20, I enjoy watching all of these videos to give me inspiration for the various customisation elements. I also enjoyed meeting Steven at the guitar show in Solihull last weekend, he couldn’t have been more friendlier and helpful; a brilliant ambassador for the brand. I also enjoy your content on Facebook and Instagram but of course there is a lot of repetition. What I believe could add huge future value to your marketing efforts is getting more customers to post content and stories about their journeys. Nothing sells a product better than direct customer endorsement.

Hi Alistair, I heard about Emerald because I bought a KLOS carbon fiber travel guitar (which I love) and one of your ads either Facebook or RUclips caught my eye. I watch your Shipping Videos every week as my Friday night "unwind". I love seeing all the possibilities. I love watching and listening to your featured artists and reading/watching your newsletter/blog. I am planning to visit Ireland and buy an Emerald guitar as a retirement gift to myself in a couple of years. From an advertising point of view... During the work week and other times when I am pressed for time (which is most of the time), I don't visit Facebook, or follow Instagram, Reddit or other social media because they are all an amazing "time-suck". Friday evenings, and other slow periods, I send a few notes on Facebook to friends and relations. I might meander around on RUclips which is when I watch your content and the content of a few others that I follow. I hope this helps. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with guitars 9999 and 10K. And hearing how your Spring Tour goes. Cheers.

The FB algorithm worked for me Alistair. I had been spending time searching for travel guitars (yes - it is me that reached out about the travel video). Your paid content appeared and got me on the Emerald journey. I am still seeing your paid content which is not so good for you, but it is good brand reinforcement.

I ALWAYS look 4ward to the new shipping vids! Havent missed one in 4 years. I get a notice 3 ways here; RUclips, then u send to BOTH my email addresses. Whichever one comes first I view. I enjoy ur vids from 'inside' the factory whatever topics u want to share. I wud like more 'technical' vids vs a demo by some artist. The more I learn about some techy points of interest the better. I dont really need to c concerts or performers as much unless ure just filling in content. WHEN r u going to sell HATS?! I love ur shirts. Ive got 3. The one u were wearing today in this vid I was wearing the same one when viewed! I love Emeralds. Keep 'em all comin'!! ❤❤❤

Recently I started seeing tons of Emerald ads, all the same with as many as 4 ads simultaneously on the same page. As an Emerald Ambassador, I don't need to see ads, and I figured it was costing Emerald money to show them to me. So I clicked the “Don't show this ad” several times and I no longer see the ads.
Going forward, I think you need to redesign your web page to give the Ambassador program more visibility. Right on the main page, near the top should be a link that says, “Where to play an Emerald near me”, and then it takes you to the Ambassador program. Based on my experience the ambassador program it hardly being used. I live near Washington DC and I've only had one person ask for a meetup since the program started.

That Red Royal Ebony X20!!! Wow. ...and the Kestrel's look awesome too. What PU's work in the Kestrel? I saw a neck Humbucker in one. Is that the only option? I imagine the Graphtech piezo is not available for that different bridge style? I love the Graphtech Piezo. It sounds great in my X20 and X30.
I'm a member over at the Facebook group, so I interact a lot there.
But I also love the shipping videos and try to comment on all of these.

Hi Alistair, Here is my two cents. I watch the RUclips shipping video every week. It is a must for me. Keep it coming. It is great to see what others are doing in the community. The next thing I read is the Blogs I receive from the email. Most of them are of good quality. I understand it is hard work. But I guess it can be done on a less frequent basis. The old blogs are stored in my email and the Emerald website. I can always go back if I need to refresh the info. Keep up with your good work. Blessings. Lawrence

Hello Alistair, I want to buy a X20 but for me it’s hard to choose the right pickup system. Maybe you can make video to show the different options. Davy recommended me the Element but I really like to hear it in action before I order the guitar. Sunny greetings from Senegal Martin
3 D builder is great, it makes me to want to buy a emerald guitar. Your guitars also sound good in youtube videos... But.... to buy without testing, without playing... it is a big leap of faith. Is there anyway - outside Ireland - to try to play some of your guitars?
Go to their website and scroll down to “Ambassador” where you will find a map showing owners willing to meet with you and let you see and play their guitars. Hopefully there will be someone fairly close to you.
I think there’s an ‘ambassador’ scheme where you can be put in touch with folks who already own an Emerald and get to see them in the flesh, so to speak.
