@@AndrewAHayesya that’s the same serial numbers that come on the china chibsons. I bought a few chibsons on ebay cheap as wall hangers. Same exact style serial number on the headstock with USA under it.
@@JoshuaDomoslai You would have thought an auction house should be able to spot a counterfeit guitar, we spotted it just by looking at the back of the headstock!
I would be looking for a refund on that model, unless it was sold as a fake, which is still illegal!

The Epiphones and Rickenbacker are my favorites
They take the strap button off of the end so that if the package is dropped, the strap button doesn’t get driven into the body.
The "Broadway " , the Rickenbacker ,Greach hollow body are my favorite.

Gibson actually had some Epiphone models made at the Gibson factory if you can find them they bring in a bit more money. They are essentially an Epiphone branded Gibson.

Filtrtrons are Gretsch's Humbucking pickups. Rickenbacker pickups are all single coils. DUH!

Epiphone have some made in USA models
It doesn't matter the Epiphones made at the Epiphone facility in China is run and supervised by Master guitar builder Scott Lewis and his American luthiers who are also at the facility and his Asian craftsman have no less than 10 experience Scott Lewis and his American luthiers have been at the China facility since 2002 and Scott Lewis has been with Gibson/Epiphone for 46 years
The old Epiphones are the ones worth money. Late 60's from Kalamazoo Michigan.

Like the Epiphone Ultra the end of the video, I have a 2017 Les Paul Traditional 4 Pro. It also has a battery pack in the back for the 10db lead boost that is activated by a push button tone knob. Each of the tone and volume knobs on my LP control a phase shift in my pickups......wonder if the Epiphone has the same thing?? Truly an awesome guitar and one of my most favorites. Great score on the guitars all together!

Epiphones were made at the Kalamazoo Gibson factory until 1967-68...
The weird plate on the back of the ultra is the acoustic pickup controls located in the last fret. Also it should have a pickup ring that has an active tuner inside. The bridge setup for them is a complete dumpster fire. It has dual outputs but there should also be a usb jack in it as well
The dual output is for one amp to play the acoustic part while the electric plays thru another amp

Ive bid at Heritage Auction many times. I have found many vintage guitars, basses, and amps. Last one I snagged a pedal steel. Very happy. You can usually get these guitars for a good price. Fix them up and get a few extra dollars in your pocket. Not me....I have to have everything

So ... awesome haul if interesting guitars. I'll give you some info on what I seen there if you havent done so yourself yet Dane.
1st up ... The Xavier is a brand sold through guitar fetishs website ... mixed reviews on them good n bad.
The Epiphone with the usa stamping could be a limted edition MIK to replicate like a 60's LP.
The Epiphone broadway is a Jazz box style guitar.
The Epiphone Ultimate LP is highlighted by the tummy cut, burl maple veneer & additional has Piezo's pickup for acoustic emulation. Thats what you seen on the back there is for the Nano mag pickup that you will find at the end of the fretboard between it & the neck pickup.
Hope that helps you some & from what I can see there some nice stuff in it.

Always remove the end strap button and switch tip when shipping. They break off if the case isn't strong like some Gibsons.

Wish they had mentioned who was selling them. Private individual? Music store going out of business? Estate sale? Storage locker? Oh well. My guess is private individual or estate. You never see those Ricky models show up in public. Least I haven't.

I don't think think the Epiphones Gretsch and Rickenbacker are fake I would have to see them in person to determine this but as far what I saw no their not fake
@@flatstheflounder9874 Epiphones today are being counterfeited because of the quality of them top quality especially the past 3 years but I look at the ultra and it's real
