    Great idea for using scraps. I use my grid background to ensure my strips are straight.

    Anna - thank you for this video! I just made a "hello friend" card using this technique with some scraps of some of my floral papers and oh my gosh...it came out so cute! I'm sorry I mailed it before I took a picture so I don't have it to show you but I will make another one. Thanks again...love your videos.

    Thanks for the idea! I've been putting them all horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. I tried the herringbone pattern, but I kept going at a slant across the card, since my strips were different widths. In this pattern that you showed, it is okay to have different widths. That's a win for me!
    Love the quilt look. In fact, I will emboss mine with all over design to make them look quilted.
