HD 60fps: Fast Amtrak And Metro-North Trains Along The Hudson River At Breakneck Ridge 5-31-19

- Amtrak And CSOR Productions goes 60fps! Note: My camera recorded in 60fps since I got it, but Movie Maker only let me save it in 30fps. Luckily, a friend of mine, Owen Miller (Palmer Sub Rail Videos), told me how to save videos at 60fps. So now all future videos will be in 60fps. Anyway, on the last day of May 2019, I payed my 1st visit to Breakneck Ridge in about a year and a half. We stayed from around 1:45pm until 7:30pm, getting plenty of Amtrak and Metro-North trains there. We ended up seeing 3 of the 4 CDOT owned P32's. 228, 230, and 231. I also got a Shave And Haircut from Amtrak 255, as well as a few horn salutes. A few CSX trains on the River Line are also seen in this video. I'm sorry for some shakiness in a few clips at the beginning as Metro-North 829 and Amtrak 283 snuck up on me. I also had to whip out my phone for LSL 48 as I had just arrived at the northbound platform when I heard it blowing up the line. It also had a private car on it.

Back in NYC times most of the line was 4 tracked hence 2 tunnels but with taller engines and just a new Railroad the Hudson line is 2 tracks

why do the cab cars lay on there horns?
Southbound trains have to lay on their horn while approaching the station due to safety concerns, which were mitigated when fences were put up around the platforms a couple of years ago.

No, it's a separate line.
Cold Spring and Breakneck Ridge is a great location. I’ve climbed the ridge. Dramatic views. It’s good that yours even a long lens for capturing freights across the River. I noticed a viewing platform on the cliff. Is it new?
That viewing platform has been there for years, but I'm not sure when it was installed.

Awesome video! Just to let you know, I think switching your settings to 60fps switched the quality from 1080p to 720p. I would go for quality over a higher FPS personally.
