@@Peyote1312 A TV show or series about his various exploits would be nice.
Like the old "spaghetti westerns" or silver screen cowboy shows of the old days.
His Unequivocaly voluptuous vocubaluary and those vivacious vocals are just too good to let sit and rot in a single 10 minute segment of a criminally underrated collection of Brothers Grimm-style Western stories. The price of creating such a charismatic persona. We have someone who is allegedly legendary for his six-gun slinging and his somatic articulations across the land. You gave us a taste of a story...but left our glasses just as dry and desolate as poor Busters Wanting-for water canteen.
It would be s travesty to just leave it at this.
Coens do not give us what we want. They give us what we deserve.
Well that won't happen now that they aren't making movies anymore.
Was so catchy
I love the guitar shot. Such a little thing, but forcing perspective inside the guitar immediately establishes an omniscient narrator and a world where normal rules don't have to apply. One momentary shot, and all of a sudden a cowboy can trade his spurs for wings, a table can be a deadly weapon, and a coach can be a ticket to the afterlife. Just wonderful.
We started this movie having no idea what this movie was about, got about halfway into the tavern scene and then had to pause it to go run errands. Ended up spending the whole day doing other stuff, excited to come back and finish this movie when I got home, because I was happily surprised with the movie. Finally got home after a long day, ready to finish the movie, press play, and about 10 minutes later he died and I spent the rest of the movie waiting for him to come back.
He never did.
I loved Tim in this first segment. I laughed myself silly at this movie. I loved the photography, the writing especially, and all acted very well. Funniest movie I have seen in a long time. I highly recommend it.
Only a full-blown philistine would put a a thumbs down on this film!!
I actually enjoyed that song. He sings really good :)
I hope this great film will encourage more people to watch one of the greatest films ever made...Sergio Leone's "Once Upon a Time in The West".
Casting Liam Neeson as the most vile character imaginable reminded me of Leone doing the same to Henry Fonda.
I would argue that it is the best western movie ever made.
Just discovered this movie . Where have I been this is a great movie !
It is a good watch, beautiful
I really liked those five stories. It felt like real human lives. It doesn't always have a happy ending.
Ms. Longabaugh's segment was my favourite.
They were all tragic but her fate was the worst...still sad
@@CharlieBrown20XD6 I would say the miners tale was the only one that wasn't tragic. He worked hard, someone tried to shaft him, but he still came out ahead. All the other ones though for sure ended pretty bleak!
same :c
The most tragic one was the Meal Ticket story...
the miner seemed a little insane though. there was also a theme of respecting nature that went a bit over my head
All day I've faced the barren waste
With out the taste of water... cool, water.
Ole Dan and I, with throats burned dry,
and souls that cry
for water... cool, clear water.
The nights are cool and I'm a fool.
Each star's a pool of water... cool, clear water.
And with the dawn I'll wake and yawn
and carry on
to water... cool, clear water.
The shadows sway and seem to say
Tonight we pray for water.... cool, clear water
And way up there He'll hear our prayer
and show us where
there's water... cool, clear water.
Keep a-movin' Dan. Don't you listen to him Dan.
He's the devil, not a man.
He spreads the burnin' sand with water.
Say Dan can't you see that big green tree,
where the water's runnin' free.
It's waiting there for you and me
and water.... cool, clear water.
Dan's feet are sore he's yearnin' for
Just one thing more than water.... cool, clear water.
Like me I guess he'd like to rest
where there's no quest
for water... cool, clear water.
The film has these in a different order and misses out the last verse.
🎶Water water water water water🎶
Gritty crime action of no country for old men to musical western, coen brothers are awesome, talented and witty. Making top class movies.
Everyone involved in the creation of this scene is an artist! Everything about it!
The movie is ridiculously good but I wish we just got 2 hours of buster
Netflix really needs to do a prequel TV show about Buster Scruggs.
Jimmy Holloway Not a tv show. But a movie. A tv show would ruin his amazing character
@Musta Krackish they made this though
i agree but buster scrugggs died......
@@simonb5986 No, they didn't. They put it on their platform, but they did not make it. The Coen Brothers did.
@@elibardas2912 ...prequel.
I love this movie
I think this is the first movie I've seen in a long time that actually surprised me several times. great film
Dad would often sing this one while shaving, moving about the house and driving about Santa Clara and towns in Ca
Hopefully there will be more Buster in the future
