If you guys were to pull off a heists, what would you rob and what would your heist names be?
Does BFG stand for big fricken guy?
Not a question, but guys. Come on. Not really a victimless crime when someone gets bear maced in the face on their day job. You can’t go around telling people to rob banks because violence or the threat of it is inherent to a robbery. You tell them to STEAL from a bank! 👍👍👍 Thank you for a wonderful mystery!❤PS. Why doesn’t Ryan have a mustache?
Is Ryan not aware of the difference between "radio" and "2-way radio" or was he well aware and intentionally trying to make us believe DB Tuber was floating down the river with 2 bags of money blasting Burning Up by the Jonas Brothers until the big reveal?
If you had to make one bank heist in history which one would you be attending ?
the fact this crime ended with a guy becoming clean and a man reuniting with his family is so wholesome and unexpected
Worse thing that happened is the security officer getting pepper sprayed, and that is terrible for a couple of hours max. Not bad for a heist
When the highest upvoted message is also a spoiler of the whole file…
@@ETK_ just watch the video. You don't have to read the comments before hand. Of course there will be spoilers. What do you expect?
Also the guy who got clean began writing children’s books… like what a wonderful crime. 😂😂😂
@@Darin_Tomlinson didn’t even read the comments but since I’m on my phone this was the one comment that was shown and it kinda ruined it for me
Ryan and Shane sound like they've already robbed a bank and they are trying to convince everyone that Steven did it.
You're right. Someone should throw Steven in the clink. Just to be safe.
I would fully believe those two are wholely capable of robbing a bank, with Steven as their getaway driver
And they're succeeding
There were never any actual investors in Watcher, just bank robberies lmao
@@Scrofar Shane for sure. He probably robbed a bank on the way to the set.
I love this story. No serious injury or death, funny outfits, lazy rivers, heists, and most of all, a homeless man being rewarded for doing the right thing.

It kills me how they never mentioned how much crazy effort he put into the crime. Like this dude went out and physically dug out the creek to make it deeper so the inner tube could go through it! The exact opposite of lazy. Hate the rich boy mentality he had but I respect the grind
They also left out the part where he went to Vegas, and blew the money on drugs, gambling, and women lol. They make it seem like he was some sort of vigilante, he was a self-destructive and selfish person that stole the money to fund his habit, cheat on his wife, and gamble like a degenerate. The real hero of the story is his wife, how she did not leave him after the hell he put her through is beyond me.
@Michael George you're 100% right. Honestly he'd better be thanking his lucky stars she didn't leave him like she should have. He'd better worship the ground she walks on because he'd he a dead man if we were married.
@@michaelgeorge4643 did he really do exactly all those things in vegas? iirc vegas is one of the best place to launder/wash your money so bigger bills don't get their numbers checked under your name, and the fact that the only way he got caught was through DNA analysis. im not absolving him of his past drug history, but there's still chance of him not exactly doing other heinous acts against his wife.
@@CyAA-ri2us he wasn't doing any kind of money laundering, he wasn't replacing cash for chips and then getting a check to clean it, he was just straight up strung out on drugs, hiring prostitutes and strippers, and gambled away a huge sum of that cash. I refuse to believe that was part of a master plan, seems more just like a guy that got a ton of money and didn't know how to behave lol
Gta set up missions be like
the real villain of this story is the lack of affordable public transit in America
(so he can see his kids)
Let's get some trains around here!!
Or, in most areas, the existence of any public transit at all
I was quite confused wondering why the guy had to buy a literal *car* instead of using public transportation like a bus or something, which would be way cheaper from where I’m from. But I guess I don’t know a lot about America huh?
Don't you guys have coaches (like long journey buses) or trains

Ijdk why they made him CEO

Came here because of a video that took a snippet from this video, I think it aged like fine wine 😅.
Although yeah Steven is not the sole villain as people would like to portray, it's the decision they all agreed upon 😬.
I don't know why people keep assuming that it was all Steven's idea to go streaming 🙄 Considering all three started the company it would be something they would decide together. And for the record I support them ✌️
Steven is not the sole villain. He may be the businessman of the Trio but they, all three, own that company. I'm glad they apologized for not realizing how much people rely on RUclips in order to support them.
The "concept of money" is hard to fully grasp, especially if you're struggling. It's an addictive green poison we sadly became very dependent on.
the whole bit of ryan not letting anybody say "unsolved" is hysterical and i love it
I think they actually can’t say it on this show for legal reasons
Its so adorable that Ryan can't fathom the idea of Emily not knowing about the crime because to him, lying to your wife and not including her is not an option ♡

Yup, beef boy is whipped 🤣
i laughed so hard at how quickly he was like THATS WHAT IM SAYINGGGGG when shane said he'd probably be involved if sara robbed a bank 💀

@@AbiSaysThings yeah I mean she wouldn’t have been able to testify against her husband legally so that claim would be her saving grace
Just a friendly reminder that Shane technically _has_ robbed a bank. In September of 2020 he was recorded saying, quote: _"I stole an owl from a bank",_ end quote.
*Teeechnically* speaking it’s only robbery if there’s threat or use of force, so unless there was a kerfuffle over the owl, the charges would probably just be some degree of theft, depending on the value of the birb.

Right and the fact they’re saying “those days” referencing how the payment amount was a lot back then, like it’s the 50s or something but it was only 15 years ago🥲
Some ppl just inflate tubes and float on ✌
it says nothing about inflation, the amount the guard was about to deposit that day just happened to be 400k. nowadays there are still guards depositing that much of today's money into banks instead of only whatever the inflation-adjusted amount would be

If Carter can be a visual in this, I think Ryan and Shane can provide a visual by trying to run with giant bags of fake money. Y’know, for the investigation, of course.
Definitely not later used to besmirch their reputation 😤
Eh, $400,000 is only about 10lbs in 100s. 20lb if it's 50s. Possibly 50lbs at most of its a combination of all bills down to 5s. But, considering it's a bank, not a retail business, I doubt they were receiving a significant number of 1s, 5s, or 10s. Banks get those from customers, I'd bet the armored car is usually delivering high-value notes at a bank.
For further science, they should run with what they THINK is the amount, then what actually is. The conclusion will likely be Shane being whacked in the head with low tree boughs and Ryan ripping the bags on rocks trying to steal Shane's bag from his concussed body.

Holy shit the production on this is so insanely well done. Just 10/10 excellent quality from the whole team. And I also loved the acknowledgement of the human side of the situation as well - it's so easy and common in "true crime" stories to treat the lives/people in them as essentially crazy fiction, but y'all balanced both being funny & entertaining with the ethical victories that are the best part of the story (Allen Dean getting a car and to reunite with family, Anthony Curcio getting sober and moving on well in his life, and just overall understanding the context of the rough time people were in). Some Unsolved Cases has been solved already! RUclips channel, SunnyV2, has a video on it
Some of the unidentified cases they've done have been identified now. The Boy in the Box, Somerton man, and I think they did the Lady of the Dunes too? They're all identified now :) but there's not much more to talk about. We know LotD had a husband who was suspected in the murder of his first wife and stepdaughter and he vanished after LotD was found, so it's pretty conclusive he killed her. The other two haven't had that much added by being identified, Somerton man took his own life anyway and nobody seems to know who BitB was living with when he died. So I don't think whole episodes could be done on them.

that is one of the biggest boons of this new show, i think. they could discuss solved mysteries on this one. which is always cool, in my opinion. i love to be walked through a case that eventually comes to a clear conclusion, but is shrouded in strange details up until then.
I know a lot of other people said it but it’s such a good feeling to hear the case was solved, open ended mysteries can be wearisome to the soul
I feel like this was the most wholesome crime video I've ever seen
Shane and Ryan throwing Steven under the bus for robbing a bank had me in tears.
Would be real unfortunate if Steven was a suspect for robbing a bank in the future 😳
Steven has to rob a bank because Ryan is embezzling from Watcher 😂
Shane is the only one not involved in a criminal activity. YET.
Ryan: "You'll have to decide whether the mystery is SOLVED or if its simply..."
Me: "UNSOL-"
Ryan: "a myster-"
Me: "A MYSTERY, yes of course that's what i was going to say haha....."
Ok honestly there needs to be a new saying for this show because this one is way too close to unsolved and unsolved is very ingrained in my mind ateast
Exactly what I said... 😢
“That’s old school kids shi” damn love u guys glad you’re still together
You know I really thought this show would be worse than unsolved because I heard they would be avoiding more violent cases but so far this is really fun
YAY! A "crime" series that's mystery-oriented, not necessarily about murder and general dehumanizing awfulness. The mystery just emphasizes the very humanity involved!
Agreed I’m excited for this series! Sometimes the murder is too much for me (and spooky is always too much for me) but I still love the boys and the mystery so this feels better.
Starting with a Solved True Crime is so smart for branding.
Shane: “So I’m supposed to guess if this mystery is solved or…. 😃”
This is the highlight of the episode for me
I loved this crime. No deaths, the banks money is insured, homeless man got a free car and reunited with family, criminal got clean and made positive changes to his life, still with his wife. Best crime ever
"you were like, 'i ran this morning,' and i said, 'yeah, i did too." LMAOOOOO shane got him with that one i fear
I was so concerned that the police were about to "solve" the case by arresting the unhoused guy because it was easier than dealing with popular people in the community, but then it all turned out great. I'm glad.
me too. glad to see they arrested the correct guy for once!
remember in the Unsolved days Shane teased Ryan about his "powerpoint slides videos", glad to see Ryan finally embracing and leaning into the bit
I find this video so comfy, wholesome and so inspiring (not in terms of bank robbery)! Love the format, excited about the guessing game, and the presentation is awesome! I am so happy about how creative your team has got to be!
I LOVE THEM FOR MAKING THEIR OWN UNSOLVED BUT NOT BEING ABLE TO SAY IT 😭
DB: bear sprays the shit out of an innocent brinks employee
Ryan: "Aha, a victimless crime."
Do you not understand jokes?

Shane shouting "HEYYY, APPLE PIE!" Is the most grandpa-esque thing he has ever done
I mean he IS 37
ryan’s little professor pin on his jacket 🥹 the world is healing
I gotta say... I really love that these videos can end solved! In the other videos, they always ended as... mysteries. I love all these Watcher upgrades ❤️❤️
this case feels like it belongs to some kids detective novels. from the witty homeless man coming out of nowhere to help them solve the case, down to the culprit and their redemption arc. i love it
Maybe i'm just sentimental, but I always love it when they make vauge jokes refferencing the old shows. They always look directly at the camera and start smiling/laughing when doing it to, It's just nice that they both remember the same things we do and it always makes me smile
As a kid who was obsessed with gravity falls this is serving me right in my teenage life
