    Many thanks! Mine came apart and you showed me how to fix it. Excellent! Saved making an appointment and the long trip to the Audiologist.

    Thank you for this instructional video! I’ve been having a repeated problem with the left receiver shutting down. I know the unit is still on because the program button still tones on the right side. A little gentle manipulation on the end usually restores sound for a minute or an hour but goes dead repeatedly. I wasn’t sure I could figure out how to do this without having to send it in for repair. Now I can avoid that long delay!

    NOTE: This is for changing receiver on all Audeo models except the newer Marvel series. This is a 2 prong receiver, the Marvel is a 3 prong receiver

    Great video, where is the best place to by a replacement receiver with out breaking the bank?

      Your hearing aid should carry a manufacturer's warranty, which covers receiver replacements during this period. Once outside of the warranty period, there is a charge for replacement receivers, which should then come with a 12 month warranty. Prices can vary slightly between clinics. In Australia, a new receiver may cost around $85.

    I need help. I stopped wearing my hearing aids when I had to start making all the time. I have a Phonak CROS II for my right ear, since I have basically no hearing in that ear, and the Phonak Audeo V for my left ear. I have cleaned everything, and bought new batteries, but the hearing aid isn't working. I put the left one in my good ear, and don't hear any amplification of sound. When I the right one in, I do hear the 5 note upward tone signalling that that one is linked, but I still hear no sound from either one, even if I rub the area where the mic is with my finger. Any help would be appreciated.

    Can you hear a feed back when the reciever is out?

    • @ValueHearing

      Hi Mic II, if the receiver is out of your ear and the hearing instrument is switched on (and working) it is likely that you will hear some level of feedback.

    What do they mean by what size? I need a right side 2xP receiver wire. Also the speaker end fits into a molded ear piece that I can't seem to get it out.Do I use force to push out?

    • @ValueHearing
      @ValueHearing  Год назад +1

      Hi Robert. It would depend on what model hearing aid you have as to how you remove the earmould from the receiver. It you have a Marvel, Paradise or Lumity hearing aid, then you simply need to pull the earmould off. However, for older devices (Belong, Venture, and older), you need a specific tool to remove the earmould from the receiver.

      @@ValueHearing I removed the wire from both ends. It is a simple repair. It is a 2xp I don't see anything else indicating size.

      @@1RComyn If your receiver says '2xP' then it is pre-Marvel. To remove the earmould from the receiver, remove the wax filter. You then need a special tool too push the receiver out of the earmould.

    Do you sell the replacement receivers?

    • @ValueHearing
      @ValueHearing  2 года назад

      Hi Tommy, we do sell replacement receivers if you are located in Australia. However, if your hearing aid is under warranty still, it's best to see your original provider as this can be covered under warranty.
